How to edit the pick up time for a scheduled ride with Uber?
When I order a Uber in advance and it’s forcing me to use Uber xl and don’t want that and be force to pay 46 bucks how do I change it to Uber

Reserved rides are a scam for drivers! There is no surge attached to these and we are penalized for declining them even if we are in a surge area. On top of that, we have go wait more than 5 minutes. In my opinion as a driver, this is one of the worst things uber has done to drivers... they take away upfront, then send rides without surge, expect us to shoulder a loss of wages so uber can help a passenger get a ride easier. Hey UBER! Why not pay the driver more in milage and time, maybe that will help get your cheap fares a more chance of pickup so people won't have to schedule a ride. This is a failure waiting to happen. It's a complete waste of time. Uber already rips us off on wages why should we let them do more and more... drivers please stand with me in declining all reservation requests
Nice to know, I thought I was bugging when drivers kept canceling my rides every time. That’s exactly why I stopped tipping some drivers . They’ll be a few minutes away then cancel on me
It's been my experience that Uber schedule rides are just thrown out to ALL of the drivers about 25 minutes prior to the pick up time. Then the driver is locked in to the ride regardless of how close or far away you are. Then I have to go wait until the scheduled pickup time and hope the rider does not cancel.
With Lyft, the driver actually accepts the ride and it goes into the driver's queue and I have had other drivers happen to be closer when the ride time come up and steals your ride.

I don't accept reserved rides. Uber takes more money from the driver, we don't get paid for wait times and no surges.
What is the cancelation fee and when is the driver eligible for that fee
Exactly, I used to Uber to work on Saturday and Sunday now I switched to Lyft . Uber is not reliable on weekends when you have to work .

While scheduling rides on Uber seem to be good for passengers (and it is), they are a ripoff for drivers during high surge times (late night on weekends and 4-6 AM everyday). I have taken a couple ride requests with "Reservation" on them in an area with heavy surge, take them, wait 30-40 minutes to pick them up, and then see that the pay included no surge. Lyft reservations have no surge but all the drivers can see the rides well in advance. Uber just sends it on. So, unfortunately, I don't take reservation rides unless they have surge on them during those high demand times (and I've seen a couple requests like that, but I still decline). During low demand times, reservations are fine since the risk of an area hitting surge is lower.

Having surgery this week don't won't to cancel my ride just wanted to change my pick up time how does this work?
Those reserved rides are pure dumb. It will make you log in 40 early and then rides will take you 30 minutes away from pickup location and then water now gas going to that reserved location. Also get cancelled at last minute... Wasted gas for driver... I tried it, it's garbage

One thing LYFT needs to get right. Customer's cannot adjust their pickup times...to say 1 or 2 hours later. What is absurd is riders have to completely cancel that 1st request. Then do a whole new trip. Being able to change seems like a no brainer. Thoughts?

Yes. The price is locked in. Scheduling In advance is based on the price of the day you book and does not change. I’m literally doing it right now. I booked 3 days ago and I’m getting picked up for $10. If I were to have just searched now instead of booking In advance, I’d be paying $26
