My UBER app does not display the car/clock icon to the right of the "Where to?" line. Not on my iPhone, nor on my iPad, both of which are relatively new. So what can I do now, to schedule my ride? Is there some other way?
1. Confirm you are using the latest version and update your app if necessary. 2. Open iPhone Settings, scroll to Uber...confirm Location is set to 'Always' or 'While Using App' 3. Scheduling is not available in all areas (especially rural), so maybe do a search to see if the services are available in your area. 4. Open Uber, click on the 3 horizontal lines (hamburger menu) to open Uber Settings. Look at the rating below your Profile Image/Name...If your account is not in good standing, you may not have the scheduling option.
One would think that the functionality of scheduling a ride in advance would be available in more outlying areas first. An obvious example would be from a person's home to an airport. The option should be available in every market Uber has service, I don't expect Uber cars to be roaming suburbia, but how simple is it to just price it out... hang a number on it for crying out loud, let people decide. Apparently the geniuses at Uber can't figure that one out and are content with the business of driving drunks home from the bar!
derrick barksdale barksdale would not be a good idea to schedule rides if not enough drivers in rural areas. Riders need reliability and dependability. Not sure it is Uber’s fault in areas with few drivers.
i can't seem to schedule an uber ride at a later time (Friday) and choose more than 1 stop at the same time. It always has the option for pickup and dropoff, but never an option to add a third stop. Please teach me how to do this. I'm new to the uber mobile app.
@@TheShiningEnergy It does not appear so, but I was able to on Lyft which is why I shared with you. You could probably go to Uber support or do a quick Google Search to confirm. www.ridester.com/schedule-uber/
Hi there. I do not work for Uber. I just make tech tutorials, but I did find this accessibility policy for you: 👍 www.uber.com/us/en/about/accessibility/
kinda dumb though, cause if I want a ride at 5 am you're not guaranteed to get a ride... they will basically start the search for you at the scheduled time, which is useless, I can do that on my own bruv. If you were guaranteed a ride then it would actually be useful
Yeah, that’s the compromise with using Uber or Lyft. If you really need to schedule a guaranteed ride, you’re better off calling a local car/limo service.
Harry li Uber does not match you with a driver when you schedule until they dispatch a car to come pick you up 20-30 mins before your scheduled time. It’s why there is a 10-15- minute buffer on scheduled. When your scheduled time is ready, they send out a call for a driver and once a car is dispatched, you can see your driver and track car 🚗.
The first thing I would try is to uninstall the app. Power down your phone. Turn back on. Re-install app and test again. The feature may not be available in your area, especially in a very rural area. If your Uber account/ranking is not in good standing it may not be available. You can check on help.uber.com also. Hope that helps 👍
I have the most current Android version of the app and the clock icon does not appear

I would suggest using Lyft to schedule multiple stops instead of Uber. You will see that it is very easy to do so. 👍
