I'm glad that there are so many other people that never used an Uber before, I literally felt like I'm the 1% among friends. Very nice explanation video!
Omg I thought I was the only one with this anxiety needing an Uber for the first time. But I see all the comments a lot of people are in my shoes too. But after watching this video just gave me such a relief. The app is actually really easy to use. Thank you for this video You're much appreciated 👍
I actually appreciate this since I never had a smartphone until a month ago and I never used Uber. I could have probably figured it out but it's nice to have instructions. Thanks.
@@BlessedForever888 That's kind of crazy that you didn't get a smartphone until a month ago, yet you seem to be very good with computers. Like ever since 2014, it feels like everyone has a smartphone. So that's why I'm a little surprised. 😅

Thank you so much, this will make my trip to a big city easier. Never had to use Uber by myself. I have always been with someone who has navigated through this process. This has helped lower my anxiety level.
Thank you for this well paced and thorough tutorial. I just sent it to my parents who can't drive at the moment due to injuries. It is going to be such a relief for them to be able to still get around. They will be testing out the Uber experience next week for the first time.
@@M1978-p8jThis isn't common sense. There's A LOT of people out there who never ordered an uber before. I've been driving my own car for 25+ years and never taken an uber in my life. I had to watch this a video more than once to understand how the app worked.
Had to use uber for the first time yesterday. Watching this after the fact, but I enjoyed my first ever ride even though I was nervous and paranoid ASF to get the uber to take me home.
I'm about to use my first Uber ride and have no experience with how you get the ride , or pay for the ride, or estimate how much it will cost. This helped so much! Thanks!
My family and I are to Atlanta in two weeks and I have to Uber. I’ve never used it before and I felt like I was the only person who never used thanks for the videos I’m not as nervous about it
My grandma recently had to stop driving, due to her age, I'm going to teach her how to use Uber so she doesn't have to be stuck at home all the time. I really appreciate this tutorial video. Thank you.
Thanks the first and last time I used Uber by myself I accidentally marked the top of the street as my pick up instead of where I was standing. The poor driver was calling me trying to figure out where I was standing. My phone was on 1% and I was stranded. I was so grateful he didn't cancel the ride.
Thanks for pointing this out! I was curious about fares for a future ride and there was a $29 minimum fare, which I couldn't understand. After reading your comment, I looked at the fare for immediate pickup and the minimum fare went down to $6.90. Whew!
We are 70 years old and have never used Uber, this decreases the anxiety I have about it. My Tesla was in the shop for a few days and Tesla sent me some Uber Credits, I didn't have a clue how they worked, so I bummed rides with neighbors until they could get me a loaner, I had to bum a ride 45 miles to the Tesla Service Center to pick up the loaner. After arriving the Service Tech asked how I got there and I told him, and he said I sent you some Uber credits ($100/day). I felt like an idiot as I gave my neighbor $50. And that's how Tesla handles any roadside breakdowns/accidents or issues. So I have downloaded the app and am ready to go. Is the tipping handled the same as say restaurants, as a percentage of the fare? What's considered a GOOD tip? Thank you so much.
Thanks for an informative video. One thing that was missing was if you can specify a pickup location other than your current location. For example, you mentioned you can schedule a pickup in the future, but how do I do this if I'm not at the location where I will want to be picked up? How do I specify a pickup location other than where I'm currently at?
Thank you for doing such a great job explaining this . On my phone the picture looked pretty small I just wish it was a little bit bigger so I can actually see it

Lyft is so much easier to use..- I’ve talked to 5 or 6 people who’ve agreed….Now that Uber is using Tesla’s I’ll attempt to give them a try, your video should help..
I appreciate this video, thank you. 🙂 Easy to use the app even for first timers but the reason I watched the video is because of those numbers next to 🙎 icon. And that was covered. But another thing I was hoping that was included is that, if the price covers more than 1 passenger? I guess yes since you mentioned the passenger can split the fare. 🤔
This is confusing to A LOT of people! It just shows a 4 for passengers, instead of maybe saying "For Up To 4 passangers" or even asking: "How many passengers?". Instead, it looks they think you have 4 in your party OR that others will be in the car with you. I know a couple of people who were confused by this and tried to adjust it and then just gave up! It would be SO EASY to clarify.
Ikr dude that’s why I looked up a guide on Uber because I assumed the 4🙎 meant that there would either 1. Be four people in the car with me, or 2. There were four people ahead of me in the Uber que lol

Okay, so you want to see the car, fine. There's no reason to see the driver beforehand. That just leads to racism, sexism, and any other "ism" you can think of. Some customers will start saying they don't want a driver because the driver is Latino, or Black, or Asian, or Arab, or White, or looks of a certain religion, or is a woman, etc. We don't need all that.
Honestly its their prerogative if they dont want a certain driver. Maybe women dont want a uber with a male driver or etc. no matter how u think about it people have personal reasons and as such can do what they want jeesh.
Even if we do have personal vehicles of our own use doesn't give not an excuse to sit & be depressed & be sad sitting at home but if we really want to go out maybe we'll try to request an Uber maybe we'll find what we are all looking for that little peace of happiness inside our hearts
