For years Christians have struggled to give a clear explanation of the Trinity. However, this video does that, while at the same time refutes the idea that God could be a unitarian being. If God exists the only explanation is that He is a Trinity.

"Unfathomable but not illogical" is a really good way to put it.
It is illogical to say that two or more things are identical to the same thing but distinct from each other. Any two or more things that are identical to the same thing must be identical to each other. That's how identity works.

@@ABC123jdit is logical to think that God has three seperate natures that are all are all one God but are distinct from each other. It’s confusing but it ultimately doesn’t matter if you can understand it or not.
@@Nicolos117 It matters if it implies a logical contradiction because contradictions can't be true. To say that the three persons are each identical to the same thing is to say that they are the same as each other. So you have the three persons being the same as each other and also distinct from each other, which is a contradiction.
Unfathomable AND illogical is the best way to put it.
How lame would it be to have a God we fully understand inside and out?? I enjoy the unfathomable mystery of Him!!

🐟 07. GOD (OR NOT):
There has never been, nor will there ever be, even the slightest shred of evidence for the existence of the Godhead, that is, a Supreme Person or Deity, for the notion of an omnipresent PERSON is both profoundly illogical and extremely incongruous, to put it mildly.
The English word “person” literally means “for sound”, originating from the Latin/Greek “persona/prósōpa”, referring to the masks worn by actors in ancient European theatrical plays, which featured a mouth hole to enable the actors to speak through. Theists, by definition, believe that there is a Supreme Deity which incorporates anthropomorphic characteristics such as corporeal form (even if that form is a “spiritual” body, whatever that may connote), with a face (hence the term “person”), and certain personality traits such as unique preferences and aversions. Simple logic dictates that the Ultimate Reality transcends all concepts, including personality and even impersonality. However, only an excruciatingly minute number of humans have ever grasped this complete understanding and realization.
There are at least FOUR reasons why many persons are convinced of the existence of a Supreme Personal God:
1. Because it is natural for any sensible person to believe that humans may not be the pinnacle of existence, and that there must be a higher/ultimate power in existence (an intelligent designer). However, because they cannot conceive of this designer being non-personal, they automatically suspect it must be a man (God) or a woman (The Goddess) with personal attributes. One who is truly awakened and/or enlightened understands that the Universal Self is the creator of all experiences and that he IS that (“tat tvam asi”, in Sanskrit).
2. Because they have experienced some kind of mystical phenomenon or miracle, which they mistakenly attribute to “God's grace”, but which can be more logically explicated by another means. As explained, all such phenomena are produced by the TRUE Self of all selves (“Paramātman”, in Sanskrit). I, the author of this Holy Scripture, have personally experienced very powerful, miraculous, mystical phenomena, which I formerly ascribed to the personal conception of God (since I was a Theist), but now know to be caused, ultimately, by the Real Self.
3. Because they may have witnessed the deeds or read the words of an individual who seems to be a perfect person - in other words an incarnation of the Divine Principle (“Avatāra”, in Sanskrit). To be sure, such persons do exist, but that does not necessarily prove that the Supreme Truth is PERSONAL. An Avatar is a man who was born fully enlightened, with all noble qualities, but not necessarily perfect in every possible way. For example, very few (if any) of the recognized Avatars in human history taught or practiced veganism.
4. Because they have been CONDITIONED by their family, society and/or religious organization over many years or decades. Unfortunately, we humans are very gullible. Due to low intelligence and lack of critical analysis, the typical person believes almost anything they read or hear from virtually any source. During a visit to one's local place of worship on any given weekend, one will notice a congregation of sheepish individuals nodding in agreement with practically every nonsensical, inane word spouted by their deluded so-called “priest”, imam, mullah, rabbi, guru, monk, or preacher. Even the current World Teacher, despite his genius intellect, was once a thoroughly-indoctrinated religious fundamentalist, before he awoke to a definitive understanding of life.
Having stated the above, the worship of the Personal Deity (“bhakti yoga”, in Sanskrit), is a legitimate spiritual path for the masses. However, the most ACCURATE understanding is monistic or non-dual (“advaita”, in Sanskrit). If one wishes to be even more pedantic, the ultimate understanding is beyond even the concept of nonduality, as the great South Indian sage, Śri Ramana Maharishi, once so rightly proclaimed.
As an aside, it seems that practically every religious organization, particularly those originating in Bhārata (India), claims to have been founded by an Avatar, but that’s simply wishful thinking on the part of their congregations. Only a great sage or world teacher can POSSIBLY recognize an enlightened being, what to speak of an Incarnation of the Divine. The typical spiritual aspirant, even one who may seem to be a highly-exalted practitioner, has very little idea of what constitutes actual holiness. Frankly speaking, many famous (infamous?) religious leaders were some of the most vile and contemptible characters in human history, particularly in this Epoch of Darkness (“Kali Yuga”, in Sanskrit).

Yes I am a servant of God because I CHOOSE to be not because I’m forced.
I discovered God through my atheistic past as one who looked for answers through scientific discovery, until scientific discovery lead me to where I am now as a Christian. The one thing I say to current atheists when they tell me they believe in science and not some "floating man", is whether or not they actually have read the Bible. I get the same answer every time. Jordan Peterson actually wrote a book called "You Probably Should've Read The Bible", and it goes into how God's existence is proven through scientific discovery and how most people try to ignore him.
That was very cool to read and I’m definitely picking up that book.
If you haven't heard of Hugh Ross you'd probably find him fascinating. He really goes into how science points towards the God of the bible. He is an astrophysicist, has/had a tv show reasons to believe that dealt with this subject for around two decades, a ministry that deals with this, and a website that posts articles almost everyday about the most recent scientific papers that point towards Jesus. He also has many videos and debates at universities with Atheist scientists. Very fascinating.

The Nicene Creed says,
“God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father.”
“begotten, not made”.
Literally, “begotten” and “made” are the same.
Doesn’t “begotten” imply “made”?
So literally this verse is contradictory. “begotten, not made”.
So there must be a profound meaning to this verse, that is:
At a certain point many lifetimes ago, the Christ was begotten of the Father.
Through practice in many lifetimes, He has eradicated all sins and sinful nature, and fully restored divinity and spirituality.
The full divinity and spirituality of the Christ were not made, so He was not made.
The reason why it can be explained in this way is because there are many lifetimes.
Without many lifetimes, there’s no way to explain “begotten, not made”.
Many lifetimes after being begotten, eventually the Christ was not made.
Without “many lifetimes”, “begotten” and “made” would be the same.
So this explanation is at least understandable in theory.

They believe that a human being is "body, soul and spirit", but yet they can’t believe that God can be Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is a reason why in the book of Matthew Jesus said "Baptize them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit."
You're suppose to be baptized in jesus name. The name of the father son and holy spirit is jesus christ. I'm not trying to misinterpret God's word because I know its punishable so I'm gonna say this is how I take it until further notice. Julius Ruiz Are you a Oneness Pentecostal? How can the Father and Holy Spirit be titles for Jesus If Scripture has made it clear that they are distinct persons? Jesus considers the Father as someone other than Himself. We know Jesus is not the Father because the Father sent the Son (John3:16-17). The Father and Son love each other (John3:35) and speak to each other (John11:41-42). The Father knows the Son and the Son knows the Father (Matt.11:27). Jesus is our advocate with the Father (1John2:1). They are two distinct witnesses (John5:31,32,37). We also know Jesus is not the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is another comforter (John14:16). Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (John15:26). The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus (Luke3:22) and seeks to glorify Jesus (John16:13-14).

The hebrew word for “one” in Deuteronomy 6:4 is “echad” and echad does not mean one in quantity but one in unity. So “The Lord our God is a unity”.

I have always imagined ourselves, spilt into thirds.
If someone saw your body, they would know who you were: visually. If someone saw your mind (or at least a projection of yourself by your mind) they would know who you are. And, if your spirit, the energy of what makes you move and our holy connection with God, was spit from your mind and body, one would know who you are.

Body: is the Christ
Soul: is The Holy Spirit
All 3 are you, separated they are you, but neither is the other.
Perhaps in the afterlife, you also are able to experience the separation and oneness that God does.

The way I understand it is this... when I'm gaming, My avatar is all me, yet separate from me. to the other players, and if the NPC;'s were real that would be all me, yet I know that I exist outside of that game as a physical person, and also as a spirit. Because I'm outside of the game, I can die in the game, but come back, respawn in it as well.

unfortunately the explanation in video is not reasonable. it doesn't matter if there are dimensions we cant understand. We always only talk about things we understand. the reason 3 can not be 1 philosophically is not because our minds is not capable to understand it, its because when we talk about existence of things there is only 2 way it works:
1- imagine 2 things, like 2 eggs, lets assume a fictional assumption that these 2 eggs have the same qualities and quantities and features and attributes exactly like each other, exactly the same to the smallest details, even if that's the case I will still say these 2 eggs are two different eggs, why? because one egg is here and the other is there. Mary wasnt sinless, she was born into sin like the rest of us. The proof is that she eventually died, the wage of sin. In my theory, the reason that Christ was born of Mary sinless is that the paternal chromosome was not present; perhaps sin is inherited from the male. So there must be a profound meaning to this verse, that is:

Through practice in many lifetimes, He has eradicated all sins and sinful nature, and fully restored divinity and spirituality.
The full divinity and spirituality of the Christ were not made, so He was not made.
The reason why it can be explained in this way is because there are many lifetimes.
Without many lifetimes, there’s no way to explain “begotten, not made”.
Many lifetimes after being begotten, eventually the Christ was not made.
Without “many lifetimes”, “begotten” and “made” would be the same.
So this explanation is at least understandable in theory.

I’m not sure if this is a good analogy but I was taught the analogy that God is similar to water, and water has three forms: Ice, liquid, and vapor. So the father could be similar to ice, the son could be liquid, and the spirit could be vapor. While all three are still water, the three states of ice, liquid, and vapor are all different (well maybe aside from the fact that you can transition in between these states of water by changing temperature or pressure)
From your example one form can transition to the other e.g water can transition to steam or ice.
If you are trying to compare the three forms of water to the trinity
then it means the father can transition into the son and into the holy spirit VICE VERSA

Here is how I intepret it;
When you dream about something, you are god of the world inside your dream, because the trees, the rocks, the mountains, the people you see etc. are all a product of your mind, your mind being the spirit. For instance, if you have a family with children and your father is still alive, you will fit the definition of being both a father (of your kids) and a son (of your father). So already then you are two things - a father, and a son.

I also believe that the 1st person perspective or loci of consciousness in the Unitarian man is limited to a single point being present in the brain. In that regard the Spirit of God can reside in multiple people and operates as an independent consciousness in each person. That is, the Trinity is not only 3 persons in one, but 3 persons that can have multiple points of consciousness.

I believe in God with every fiber of my being, but the Trinity had me extremely stressed and I have spent so much time studying it and trying to make sense of it all. I am a big follower of rational thought, so I had been kind of leaning toward your explanation for some time now. CASE IN POINT: Jesus is a separate spirit being...the father is also a spirit being but the Supreme being. John 4:24 1+1= 2 spirits my friend. A "spirit being "is not a title or simply a function, manifestation, or a molecule or like a title such an uncle, brother, father , president, general, or soul, mind etc etc. There is only one spirit in a human being not 3 in 1. lol A spirit being has its own existence and free will. Jesus had his own free will and his own life existence just like you and me. The false doctrine of the trinity is such a "mystery" that pastors don't even know it or explain it they said. LOL Why would you believe something that is such a mystery that your teachers don't even know it or can't explain it???????

please explain the following without contradicting the Scriptures in plain English. why Jesus called God to somebody else if Jesus was God? John 17:3 and why Jesus commanded to worship his father and not him?? John 20:17 and why did Jesus call his father the ONLY true God ? This statement will exclude Jesus as God. If the father is a supreme spirit being and Jesus is also a spirit being. Wouldn't that be 2 spirits? what is a spirit being? If belief in the Trinity was such a necessary condition for being a Christian, why didn’t Jesus teach and emphasize it to the Christians during his time? How were those followers of Jesus considered Christians without ever hearing the term Trinity? Had the Trinity been the spinal cord of Christianity, Jesus would have emphasized it on many occasions and would have taught and explained it in detail to the people.
Because Jesus was not a Christian. He taught the fundamentals of the Torah to gentiles. Paul came up with Christianity, that’s why everyone follows Paul’s teachings (eat pork and shellfish, do not keep the Sabbath, etc.) and worship Jesus (a human like everyone else) as g-d.

@@OurHumbleLife Sir, I too worship a singular, one and only GOD. The doctrine of trinity is basically 3 person which is co-equal in everything, Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
This is my understanding about the Holy Trinity. When we go somewhere else our task, responsibility changes be still our identity is the same. For example My name is trex when I go to school people inside the school calls me trex but classifies me as a student, When I got to my friend house my friends parents call me trex and knows me as a friend.of their child, and when I got home everybody calls me trex while they treat me as a son/part of the faimly. So does my identity changes?, y task and responsibility do but me known as trex remain the same. Thats how I see God, in the old testament we see God there as a father who disciplines his children when they commit mistakes but hears them whenever they ask for help. We see in the new testament God the Son whos life is all about fulfilling his Father's will, and the Holy Spirit who will come after the ascension of Jesus to heaven. This may lack evidences and further clarity but this is my faith and I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit my God is three person in one. ("Things that are impossible with man is possible with God". Matthew 19:26)

Hi, friend! Your desire to get to know God is heartwarming. You don't need any fancy education or whatever, you just need a simple, childlike faith. Jesus said that you can't enter the Kingdom of God unless you become like a little child. You don't have to listen to people, God promised that He will teach you. If you want to start somewhere, I would say read the New Testament first, or at least read the gospels and acts. In case you don't know, the Bible is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The New Testament is about Jesus and the Old Testament starts with Adam and Eve. I say read the New Testament first because there are the teachings you should live by. Yes, there are some things here and there that you might not understand at first, mainly concerning people from the Old Testament, like Abraham and David. But you can always ask me here about them, so that you know what's going on. Really, I wouldn't worry about it. The most important thing is to live out things that Jesus taught.
Since we meet here under a video about the trinity doctrine, let me tell you that this doctrine is not true. In the trinity doctrine the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God. But Jesus said something else. Before being crucified Jesus prayed to His Father like that:
"Father... This is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" John 17:1-3
See? No trinity here! Jesus is the Son OF God, not God. Also notice that this is how Jesus defined eternal life! So that's REALLY important to get it right.
Also, Paul the apostle wrote:
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5
You have to be very careful about who you listen to as there are so many deception out there. Jesus said that the way that leads to life is narrow and FEW find it. But the bright side is, you can never go wrong listening to Jesus.
One technical thing. When you read the Bible, you will sometimes see that: the LORD. When it's capitalized like that then it stands for God's name. God's name is Jahwe or Jehova, we don't know for sure, so they replaced it with the LORD in translations. When it's not capitalized, it just means "lord", that is "master".
Do you have a Bible? If so, what translation? KJV is difficult to read, that's true, but then there are some modern translations that take great liberties with the text, even to the point of being flat-out misleading. So even though you shouldn't obsess over such things, there are versions that I would stay away from.

Why don't you start with the Gospels first, before trying to understand Who or what God is, try to understand the person of Jesus Christ and from there you'll have a better approach in understanding God and the bible. You also need to understand that bible isn't a book dictated by God, it was written by men who were inspired by God throughout a span of 2000 years before Christ and almost 100 years after him. God communicates to them through their culture, tradition etc it doesn't necessarily explain a scientific or historical truth but a theological one on how God is the foundation of reality.

I am no scriptorian by any means. But as I was reading in the gospel of Matthew, around chapter 19, I started making note of references in the scriptures that make me think that the father and the son are two separate persons. Does anybody have any thoughts on Matthew 19:7, 20:23, 21:37, 23:9, 24:36, 25:34, 26:31, 39, 42, 53?
I wish I would have made a list of everything that I saw prior to Matthew chaper 19. The list was quite extensive.
Ether 12:27 one key scripture that helps us see the distinctions in the Trinity are the verses which describe Jesus’ baptism. The Father and Holy Spirit are there with Jesus, the Son, simultaneously.
