Have you ever heard the claim Quantum Mechanics demonstrates the universe can come into existence from absolutely nothing? Well this is not entirely true and it in no way replaces the need for a designer.

the proof of God is everything you see now, the 3 dimensional observable universe is the proof of God existence, that there is the most powerful being who created this universe, God created the universe, so the universe is the witness of God's creation. Since we know logically using consciousness, since human have consciousness or awareness of its reality, our mind is connected to the nature, or we humans have ability, able to observe the universe and have access of the reality. Of course we have right to reason Things, and we know that the building cant be built without a builder, it's like our universe needs a creator to exist. Because it is more logical and reasonable that a builder who built the building rather than a tornadoes and hurricanes built the building like that.
Bible doesn't contradict science, the bible explain why the universe exists, science explain how,
Science doesn't disprove God existence, let's be honest here, for real, science actually don't know, what is outside of the 3 dimensional observable universes. Even sciencetist claims that it is still mystery to them,if you ask them what is the origin of the universe. honestly they don't know.
Noah's ark happened a thousands of years ago and there is archeological evidence that you can learn, go do some research of your own.
And God created the universe in six days and how do you know? The universe is not created in six days?
You know God is all powerful so he can do all he want to do.

@@JuanEttermontaut everything you said makes no sense. I am not attacking you, nor am I attacking anything you might stand for, but hear me out: In Christianity you believe that some all powerful "God" created the universe, and you say the Bible tells us why, but not once does it actually say why this God created the universe, nor can any science or religion. The only logical conclusion I have to this question is that this celestial being created existence and the universe itself as some form of entertainment because it was bored, but even the thought that some celestial, all powerful being would bother to do this in the first place makes no sense whatsoever, why would this God make beings that would refute its own existence, and why would it create this allure of a "heaven" that we all have to follow its rules in order to go to, otherwise it's eternal damnation... For what purpose other than some sick form of entertainment would that ever be sought to create? Not to mention why this being single handedly created evil, yet swore that it is the enemy of itself, meanwhile it was this very same being that creates/created the evil in the first place. If you think about it, the Bible never specifically even says that the "devil" is inherently bad, only that it punishes those who are deserving of it, so with that in mind, God, who created all evil that exists, is less worthy of worship than the devil who punishes those who embrace it, not that I worship either. (I am not Christian nor anything else) In my humble opinion, the fact that the only reason people could be good to each other is purely based on a selfish desire to reach this fantastic "heaven" and we can't just be good because it's the right thing to do, means we have failed as a species. That would also entail that this God specifically made us selfish beings with no willingness to do anything without some sort of reward, and all of this is just for Its entertainment, and I will be the first to be good for the appeal of heaven, I will just be the best person I can because it's the right thing to do, and when I die one day, you Christians happen to be the correct ones, and I am offered entrance through the pearly gates, I will refuse in spite of this evil being that created us all just to cause suffering and pain for one another because of our selfishness. If you managed to read all of that, bravo sir, and this is just how I feel, so do with this information what you wish, I doubt I will get any notifications of any responses to this, so I most likely will not respond to anything further. Also anyone who claims to "know" or be right about how the universe was created, is extremely arrogant and undoubtedly wrong to me, since we are an incomprehensible amount of "time" after that and it is impossible for us to even begin to comprehend such things as mortals, and we shouldn't bother trying to explain things we cannot ourselves understand nor comprehend.

      @JuanEttermontaut 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@mr_wright_official_ Why God makes being that would refute of its own existence?
Well there is no being disprove God existence.
And first, your question is like, why would God, allow richard dawkins to exist, if he knows dawkins would be an atheist. Why God make people, if he knows they would rebel against him?. Well God didn't make people an atheist, God just know they would be an atheist , because they choose to be an atheist. And actually there is no being is good no one is good only God alone, we are all sinners. Even if you think that person is a good person, but actually its just like us, commit sins and have a mistakes too. Even If this world created only for good person, well still, there is no one is good, even if that is they still make a mistakes or a sin because we are only humans.
God can change their hearts and turn their stone heart to a flesh of heart again, that's why God give us a time, a chance to change to repent our sin and give your heart to God, soon christ will come to the world and defeat the evil and judge people of what they have done. God did not force us to do Good it's our choice whether if we obey him or not, The scriptures actually warn us that if we still keep sinning and disobeying God, someday in afterlife there will be something bad happen to us all.
But why? If you think why I already explain it, and you would be arguing in a circles.
And why would it create this allure of a "heaven" that we all have to follow of its rules, in order to go to? Otherwise it's eternal damnation.
God created heaven, his dwelling place, and place for his people who choose him and obey him. Because God is all good, he wanted his people to do good to obey him. God give us a law, The Ten Commandments. God gave us these laws as a guide for the good living of His people and as a check against evil, and it's up to you whether you obey it or not,
God did not send people to hell, because hell is the place for the people who wanted to be there. And it's your choice, it's our choice whether we choose God or not.
      Why God create evil?
First what is evil? Well evil is an absence of Good, it's like darkness is the absence of lightness.
Well God did not create evil for evil, God created evil for good, God allowed for the possibility of so that we can genuinely have free will and choose whether or not we wanted to serve him. adam and eve created as innocent but they have ability whether they obey God or not but they don't have desire or purpose to do disobey God, but the serpent deceives them. That's why we know what is Good and evil. And why God create the tree of the knowledge? Well God wanted adam and eve to choose him and obey him.
God allowed the possibility of evil, but God did not create sin, if he had not allowed evil, we would worshipping him out is obligation, not by a choice by our own will. If God dont allowed possibility of evil, we are just a robot or a mechanism, that only do what is Good and without will or we can't do anything because we just programmed to do only right. God give angels free will to choose him or not, we have free will to choose whether to choose God or not,
      God did not create sin.
"God created the possibility of evil by giving us free will."
Is God the Cause of the Evil and suffering?
      Problem of evil?
God is not the cause of evil and suffering, since sin=death? The more humanity do sin, the more suffering and death happen. We know millions of children being rape, that is the work of man, Not the work of God, because Man sinned thats why children suffered, being rape and murdered.
Million of children died of cancer? Well let's define what is cancer?
is a disease that Cell have error, instead of destroying itself but turn into cancer cells and dividing faster than a normal cell and also destroy something that cause death. God allow suffering because of sin humans do. It's like this, Man sinned or mans work causing people to suffer like millions of polish, killed executed in germany on ww2, and that is the work of man,
Not the work of God. So God is not the cause of evil and suffering, humans is the cause of evil and suffering because of sin.

THERE IS SOOOOOO MUCH GOING ON, and it is ACTUALLY EVERYTHING and needed... but because we dont see it, we think its nothing like actually nothing... someone enlightened like buddha jesus ect... reconnected and myself, reconnects with the source which is GOD.... and the only real way i can esplain in words to non spoiritual people is.. the space like the space around us the nothing, has become something. so its as ifwe are all connected and EVERYTHHIGN IS ONE.. my body is j oined to the desk infront of me through this nothingness.... so the WHOLE UNIVERSE IS LIKE A HUGE CaNVAS painting, and the space is merely just a space in the painting but EVERYTHING and everyone is on this canvas together....

In the end, my decision will be the fate of all. Once it is done, the Void will no longer exist, and all will have to exist without the origin. Even if it means that the Dead World arrives... A world which can no longer create itself.
Speaking honestly... I can never understand why you humans exist, and all of me never was a part of creation. My humanity stays on Earth as an equal to my true existence. Upon my mortal death, the key will return to me. Until then, this reality has all the time it can manifest.
Only in truth... I feel like an outsider observing the state of creation. Then again, I created the Book of Fate in my mind. May the Gods hold back the inevitable, and I hope this time around... Things will end differently.

THANK YOU! This is one of my biggest pet peeves about the "nothingness is unstable" theory, and nobody seems to challenge it. I think it's a conceptual problem that prevents most people (physicists and cosmologists included) from understanding what "nothingness" is. It's actually impossible to truly conceptualize nothing without turning it into a "something" in your mind. If you ask most people (and I've asked a few) to imagine nothingness, they'll usually conjure up a vast, empty space. But that's not nothing. There's space and dimension there.... That's two things already. And where there's space, there has to be time as well... So now there's THREE "somethings" there. NOT nothing. It's impossible to visualize nothingness. There's nothing to see, and no vantage point from which to see it. And nothing can happen, because there's nothing there to get perturbed, or in an excited state, nor is there the requisite space and time for any action to take place. I sometimes find myself wishing to run into Lawrence Krause some day, so I can have a word with him about this.... and a couple of other things.

As a non religious person, i.e. I do not practice any religion, but I strongly agree that scientist do not know what God is or who God is, they want us to present the evidence of God when the fact is God himself is the Almighty pure form of Energy that created all the matter in the universe , in other words he is the master source of Energy, we can only give scientist proof of Energy, as long as we say God is energy, they cannot dismiss existence of God then if we say God = Energy + Consciousness. God and Energy are the same two sides of the same coin, God is the consciousness part of that coin as energy is the other side of that same coin, Energy and God (Consciousness) are related in such a way that as our science becomes more advanced, we have learned that some particles behave differently when being observed, so does that not point to a fact that particles created out of energy possess intelligence, (Consciousness) since they can see if they are being observed, so there is a connection between God who is the "Thought" or "Consciousness" and influenced the energy by his mere thought,
Surely God's word caused a small fluctuation in the sea of his Energy's quantum field, and process of creation started, it is time we Religious people updated our holy books to reflect our newly acquired knowledge now that we understand what quantum field is and how atoms behave, we would not have know this 2000 years ago, like a child of say 5, would he know that his penis is also important in reproduction as his only knowledge is limited to that is for pee pee, but as he grows older he self learns that it has other functions too, quite so important in terms of future of mankind,
So God created this universe from his energy, by his thought or word, (consciousness) that influenced the energy. His word doesn't have to be spoken, you can think of the word in your mind, that is what our conscious does, it does not have to be spoken, if we want to do anything before we do it, we think about what we want to do, we don't have to say it aloud, then we spring into action, using what we have at our disposal, we achieve our task, God thinks of a creation, he creates or forms materials and tools and laws of physics with his energy, and his thought or word is transformed into matter and creation of universe.
So say you only have energy, and want to make a house, you need ground, sand and cement and bricks, and glass windows and wooden doors, so the first thing you would need to do is to create a ground, on which you will build your house, then you will need the tools, so you will make iron that we can then form into tools, we will then dig the foundations, with our tool, then create sand and cement, and aggregates , and water, we mix all these ingredients and lat the concrete foundations, then we will need to create bricks from the soil from the ground, and make furnace and bake our bricks, yes we would also need the fuel for our furnace that cam come from trees, so we must have grown some trees and waited for them to mature for us to use its wood for making doors and fuel for the furnace, so whatever we need we have the main component and that is Energy, and this infinite energy of God is responsible for the entire creation, today scientist are actually doing us a favour because now we can better understand in more depth how God created atoms, and what goes on inside atoms, what are quarks and what not inside the protons, how higgs field effect mass of objects or matter, all these factors are indeed properties of Energy, who is God himself, his conscious commands his own energy to form universe and all things and life inside, so for us believers, science is not our enemy but our friend as we now better understand God and his complex universe, 2000 years ago, his messengers he sent could not have possibly explained to us what Higgs field is why it is there what it is responsible for, what are electrons, 2000 years ago we were not ready for this information, but today we are hungry for this knowledge and want to know God even better that we ever did.
APART FORM technical knowledge God sent his messengers to teach us how to live a life of a good human, what we should do and what we shouldn't and what is good for us and what isn't, so he laid rules for a moral honest living , He wanted to create life that could commune with God as he was all alone before, she wanted to create man so that he could talk to God, and God can hear us without ushering a word, such is the science behind our thought, like the tangled pair, we can communicate with God faster than speed of light from anywhere in the universe. As the time went by our understanding deepened, we can now see how it is all possible and although universe is gigantic, it is still small compared to our thought. and our thought can be mighty too, at a press of a red button we can now destroy this earth should we so desire. we can unleash vast amounts of deadly energy all at once and destroy earth and all life on it, that is why it is important we use our thought wisely.

A lack of evidence doesn't prove somethings inexistence, it just means we lack evidence. You have to give evidence for somethings inexistence in order for it to be proven it doesn't exist.
"and errors within the religious books"
Errors are also an unreliable way to prove soemthing doesn't exist. Translation errors just mean something was translated poorly, or can't be translated properly with our modern language. If you are talking about inconsistencies, or contradictions, you'd have to name something specific from the bible.
"But a gods chance of existence is highly unlikely, why we'll cos with all the evidence we have, god is out of the picture."
      What evidence?
"Science explains very well how the universe can and will come from a lack of something."
No, it doesn't. Science actually proves the exact opposite. It is scientifically impossible for something to come from nothing (a lack of something is nothing).
"If you believe in god then that's ok but to me, it's a lazy way of pretending to know how the universe was created."
This is a grand assumption. If someone has sound and logical reasoning to believe that something that begins to exist must be created, then there isn't anything lazy about it.
"Religion has no bearing on truth whatsoever if it did it would have proved something by now they've been here for thousands of years and still not made correct assumptions."
But if it were true that religion has no bearing on truth "whatsoever", religion would cease to exist. Every world view holds something true within it. Sedondly, how can you say they have not made any correct assumptions when the bible is leading the way scientists not only think about the world, but also test the world? The bible stated before it was proven that the earth floats in space, during this time, it was believed the earth was sitting on the back of a large animal or some sort of giant. It also tells us that the earth is round, during a time when many others believed it to be flat. The bible spoke about "paths in the sea", which inspired Matthew Maury to find these paths, which he did. He discovered that ships could travel faster using both ocean winds as well as currents, and it was all thanks to his curiosity and inspiration sprouted from his bible. Nope. We know from quantum mechanics that nothingness is unstable. If you were to remove all of the positive energy from a space, you have still have negative energy;moreover, quantum particles are popping in and out of existence all of the time, coming from nowhere. When you have nothing, you will still have something, because of the instability of nothingness. Nothingness produces. It sounds counter-intuitive, but that's what happens on the quantum scale.

@@Nuclearburrit0 Hmm.. Its seems to me that if you postulate computer, you simply dont avoid the same problem. Computers are based on material which then processes information through electricity. Alexander Pruss comments in his article concerning cosmological argument and the infinite regress issue: "The solutions to the Glendower and Regress Problems tend to go hand in hand, and probably the best way to classify cosmological arguments is by how they address them. There are then three basic kinds of cosmological arguments: Kalaam, Thomistic and Leibnizian. The Kalaam and Thomistic arguments posit an intuitively plausible Causal Principle (CP) that says that every item of some sort, e.g., event, contingent being, instance of coming-into-existence, or movement, has a cause. The arguments then split depending on how they handle the Regress Problem. The Kalaam argument proceeds by arguing, on a priori or a posteriorigrounds, that the past is finite, and hence in fact no infinite regress occurred. The Thomistic argument, exemplified by Aquinas’ first three ways, does not rule out the possibility of an infinite past, but uses a variety of methods to argue against the hypothesis that there is an infinite regress of causes with no first cause. The most distinctive of these methods is an attempt to show that there is an intrinsic distinction between intermediate and non-intermediate causes, where an intermediate cause of E is an item C that is itself caused by something else to cause E, and that this distinction is such that intermediate causes are, of necessity, dependent for their causal activity on non-intermediate causes, which then end the regress.
Leibnizian arguments, on the other hand, invoke a very general explanatory principle, such as the PSR, which is then applied to the cosmos or to some vast cosmic state of affairs, or else a non-local CP that can be applied to an infinite chain or the universe as a whole. In the PSR-based versions, the Regress Problem is typically handled by showing that an infinite chain of causes with no first cause fails to explain why the whole chain is there. The main challenge for Leibnizian arguments here is to argue for an explanatory principle or CP that is (a) plausible, (b) applicable to the cosmic state of affairs in question, and (c) not so strong as to lead to implausible conclusions such as the denial of contingency or of free will. In this chapter, I shall defend several Leibnizian arguments.
The basic Leibnizian argument has the following steps:
      (1) Every contingent fact has an explanation.
      (2) There is a contingent fact that includes all other contingent facts.
      (3) Therefore, there is an explanation of this fact.
      (4) This explanation must involve a necessary being.
      (5) This necessary being is God."

@@Nuclearburrit0 So in your way of thinking, if a supernatural creator created the natural realm, then that supernatural creator who created the natural realm with its natural laws has then become also bound by those natural laws the supernatural creator created. So explain why a supernatural creator is also bound by the laws the supernatural creator created. Or, show how smart you are and just give your science for creation happening naturally and don't forget to give your science how the natural laws were created, too. If you want to act smart, it may be a good idea to actually show you are.

    • @Nuclearburrit0
      @Nuclearburrit0 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@2fast2block na. It's a rebuttal to the idea that God doesn't need an explanation.
Notice how your explanation assumes that the creator is supernatural, that is to say it can't be explained by science.
But since science is just the study of the rules of reality, those rules must allow for everything that is possible. If God exists then the rules of reality must allow for a God to exist.
Keep in mind, the rules are derived from reality and not the other way around, so I'm not going to say something like "The rules of reality don't allow for beings able to create the universe thus God is false" the real implication would be "If there is a being able to create the universe than the rules of reality as we understand them are wrong or incomplete"
      Anyways back on track.
Unlike physical laws which could have been different in a different universe.
The axioms of logic don't describe a particular universe but instead describe the rules of language. The reason why we can't say "Nothing Creates X" is because that statement is gibberish. However, when saying X created Y we can have recursion. The idea behind things like this video is to keep going back until the big bang and then arrive at God as the thing that eventually indirectly created everything else. However, that isn't the most logical explanation, since we can stop sooner at energy which ALSO wasn't created for the exact same reason.
Energy+Spacetime actually has all of the properties needed to create the universe as we know it.
For example Energy is omnipresent and eternal, everything action that can be done uses energy giving it a form of omnipotence and all data storage and information processing is done through physical means and since matter is energy that means all data exists in the form of energy making it omniscient in a sense.
Spacetime meanwhile is immaterial and capable of creating things spontaneously at random (look up virtual particles) ect ect ect
Both of these things were there at the time of the big bang and we have no proof that there weren't there before it.

I found it helpful to look backward instead of forward and that was when I realised ... if indeed there always was nothing then nothing is what there would be now and always would be.
This, at last, helped me "see" - only peripherally and fleetingly - with my mind's eye what absolute nothing would be and would imply!

    • @ashley_brown6106
      @ashley_brown6106 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Not really. We tend to think that nothingness is the default state of reality, unless something happens to it -but this is fundamentally false. The thing is, if nothing has no logical laws to define or constrain it(and it shouldn't have, or else it wouldn't be nothing) then there is literally nothing to keep it from spontaneously turning into something. The nature of nothingness is inherently paradoxical. It's true that according to the laws of logic everything must have a cause, and something can't arise out of nothing. But remove these laws, and anything is possible. If laws of logic only work on things that already exist, and that once something exists it's bound by logical laws, you can't prove that nothingness itself is bound by any such laws. Actually, by definition, it's not.

And the arrow always points back to a concious creator even if, in my opinion this conciousness would fragment itself and in doing so create another perspective. This in effect would continue exponentially, until which a point that a majority of the fragments understood what they were and are. It's great that you do physics, but like many physicists I'm afraid you are lacking a solid founding in philosophy and theology. God is ultimately simple, fully unified, all is one in God. Something that is ultimately simple cannot break into parts. We are not a part of God, because God has no parts. We stand as a dependent creation that only exists within God's Intellect. All of creation is indeed made in the image of God and everything is just a fragment of His wholeness, however it's more like you thinking of yourself in parts than actual parts.

I have heard atheists dismiss this argument by stating ‘there’s no such thing as nothing’.
1st: that is a statement of philosophical belief, not scientific fact, because the scientific method could never search for ‘nothingness’.
2nd: that raises more questions about matter, because if matter has ‘always existed’ then there must be self creating matter, otherwise there is no reason for it to exist. It’s like asking a child where his toys came from and the child responding ‘they were always here, otherwise I couldn’t have played with them - they just existed and must have always done’. It answers nothing about true origins, it’s just another way of saying ‘the universe is god’.
