    This golf cart belongs to a friend of the family and they reached out for my opinion on what it could be before they took it to a repair shop after they were quoted $475. If you have troubles with your club car golf cart rather it be a DS or Precedent model, you might wanna check the mcor first. This part is relatively cheap for less than $50 and even cheaper.

    This did not work on our 2010 precedent. Ours stops and brakes when we let off the pedal. If we are driving at full throttle, it does not stop. We have replaced the MCOR, the speed sensor, and the Solenoid with diode. I have a toggle forward reverse switch on order. I don't know what else to try if that doesn't work.

    Hi could you possibly help me? I’m having trouble 36 volt ezgo. Txt pds. I fried my controller and don’t know what else to check? New solenoid and new controller. When I turn the key on press forward or reverse and press on the pedal the motor runs for 3 seconds and controller pops. The reverse buzzer works but won’t run after the pop. I have checked my wiring and battery volts, ITS, micro switch. Honestly checked everything and about to pull my hair. When I got the cart all the electrical was cut out down to a bare frame. The motor tested and works . Can you help me?
    Thank you.

    "Everyone" told me the same thing about Chinese sourced MCOR's, but when my 2016 Precedent started having jerky acceleration and I checked out buying an OEM MCOR, I about choked over the price. So I ended up buying the same 10LOL brand MCOR, and I've done more "LOL's" than 10 since it's still working 1.5 years later. I'm sure there are some non-OEM ones that quickly fail, but since most parts (yes, even OEM) are made in the same Chinese factories, it's financially wiser (and definitely worth the risk) to try the significantly cheaper part first.
    By the way, good karma fixing a friend's cart like that. I don't have a problem with cart shops charging a lot of money to fix or upgrade several things wrong with a cart, but for something obviously simple like this to charge $400+ is just a con. Shop fees are shop fees, but there's no way replacing even an OEM MCOR should be $400.

    Hey brother, great video. I have a question for you if you dont mind. I know very little about golf carts but a elderly neighbor of mine asked me for help. She has 6, 8volt Trojan batteries in her club car and she says that she cannot play a full 18 without the cart dying. It does not hold a charge long enough. Do you have any suggestions into what i should be looking into? Any adive sould be appreciated. Thanks!

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Look at the top of the batteries on the terminal. Should have a letter and number stamped into the terminal. Letters will be months and number is the year. That will tell you how to determine the year of the batteries and just know they usually last 5 years "if taken car4e of properly". I would also check the water levels in each battery as they should be just above the plates in the batteries (monthly maintenance). Check the voltage of each battery and then the pack voltage. Might have a low battery.

    I have a 2005 president, I needed to adjust the brakes the other day and noticed the 2 wire plug wires were striped about 1/4" and twisted together (not cut) and plug in the emcor. What do you think the reason for that is? ✌🏻

    • @goldenlife9856
      @goldenlife9856 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The two wire plug is just a micro switch that tell the controller you are actually pressing the pedal. I think it's the most common failure. I have one similar and I just put the cart in neutral and pop the pedal a couple times to clean the contacts and it works for a couple weeks. One day I'll replace it. You can break it open and replace the micro switch.

    Just bought a club car precedent 2016 with lithium. My pedal always works but it bucks or surges up to 3/4 pedal.

    Had a similar issue with my '13 Precedent. Called the shop I have purchased parts from previously, who suggested it is likely either the solenoid or MCOR. I bought a new OEM solenoid and he threw in a MCOR made in China for free. I was told if it was the MCOR, to purchase an OEM one because the ones made in China stop working after a few months. It ended up being the solenoid, so I never had to replace the MCOR.

      @Fentertainment  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you have a 98 club car then you have a ds. The mcor location on a ds is on the passenger side frame rail under the passenger side of the cart. If it doesnt have the ds then you have a vglide and its under the seat on the drivers side frame rail. It will be a 1/4 round plastic box shaped like a slice of pizza. You will have one of the 2 and it could have either one.

      For a 1999 they should have a club car ds which is the older body style cart and in my opinion the best looking cart. On that cart the MCOR will be located on the passenger side under the cart on the frame rail. It will be a black box mounted to the frame rail. If you look down there and there isnt anything, then they might have a Vglide under the seat on the drivers side. It will be shaped like a slice of pizza and will be black as well. They are only on the drivers side under the seat mounted on top of the frame. If its a v glide then you need to know if its a sepex cart with a push button fnr switch or manual turn lever. There are 2 different types.
