  • More maintenance on the golf cart. The MCOR makes the speed reference for the motor controller. The cheap ones from China don't last long but are easy to replace. The original OEM parts lasted much longer but are no longer available. There is a conversion kit for a better MCOR but cost much more.

    My club car will start to move an then quit. It does this a few times and then I have to turn the key off and then back on and it will do the same thing. Any thoughts?

    @Country Living With The Wades - I'm also a 2003 Club Car owner and I really like the stance of your cart. Can you tell me the size of your rims (diameter and width). Also, what size tires are you running? Was your original motor able to handle these bigger wheels, or did you notice a degradation in vehicle speed and performance? Thanks so much!

      @@countrylivingwiththewades8784 I finally bit the bullet and bought a new motor and controller for my '03 club car. The wimpy 3.2HP motor from the factory couldn't handle the lift, larger tires, and rear seat addition.

    Thank you! Just about ready to replace the MCOR on my 2011 DS. What brand MCOR did you get?

    Thank you the video, I noticed the contact area on the circuit board was in pretty good shape. I couldn’t see the wiper part. Have you tried to clean both , lubricate and reassemble and see if it works?

      I thought about it because I'm a tinker. But if the potentiometer wiper is not making good contact, it's usually not worth messing with

    I have the same cart as you. I replaced my MCOR and now my cart runs at about half the speed as it did before. Any idea or suggestions on how to adjust or increase the speed? Also, when i let off the accelerator and push it back down there is a 1-2 second delay. any assistance would be appreciated. (batteries are pretty new so that is not the problem)

      I think this golf cart has 3 speeds. There is a handheld programmer to change it to another but it is not cheap. Mine used to go slow but I found that if I have the peddle pressed then turn the cart on, it will go in high speed. after doing this several times over a few weeks, it just stayed in high speed. Also, if the splines are lined up correctly it should not make a difference in your speed from what you had before.

    I have a 2019 Onward and it’s losing power on inclines. Do you know what might be causing this problem?
    Thanks for any help

    Will the speed magnet work with the stock sensor?

    • @countrylivingwiththewades8784
      @countrylivingwiththewades8784  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many sensors types. A reed switch (on/off) is activated by a magnet. In the mower engine, it is the speed of the magnet passing by the the coil that causes the spark. The coil is not a sensor, i.e. lines of flux cutting the wires of the coil.

    How do i adjust my golf car accelerator

    • @countrylivingwiththewades8784
      @countrylivingwiththewades8784  ปีที่แล้ว

      I need a little more info.
      Does it have an MCOR module?
      Are you referring to rate of acceleration or did you mean adjust top speed?
      Are your batteries weak? Weak batteries will always have slow acceleration.
