I prefer being able to watch what goes on after the takedown. It also doesn't matter if it wasn't "amazing" or "spectacular" enough. It's all fascinating to me. The slow-mo and the close up shots are great. No need to apologize or feel like you have to wow us. We're here because we like you and we like tarantulas.

@@matt80one I do, but I'm betting they aren't the only invertebrate that can fluoresce. Maybe a feeder like those big green worms... the name escapes me at present. In any case, really strong blue LEDS would create a nice nocturnal ambiance. Maybe the tarantulas will behave differently in their preferred light conditions.

Those mushrooms should break down leaves and unused biomass to make your soil more nutritious for your plants, I'd suggest some good decomposition media like more leaves to help the plants grow. I might even take one or two caps and tap them over any Tropical/High humidity setup you have and then toss in a few more springtails into each enclosure. That should instantly help with plant growth and soil fertility and biomass for springtails to eat. Paul Stamets poured diesel onto a big pile of woodchips, absolutely soaked it all. Then he dropped mushroom spores in it and a couple months later the wood pile was covered in plant life! I say leave the mycelium in there as long as it isn't completely taking over and you have springtails to keep it in check.
