I really look foward to your videos! Your content isn't just entertaining but very educational. I'm in the process of getting my first tarantula. I can't wait!
congratulations man!!! i have a harpactira pulchripes currently. today she actually finally found her burrow i made for her and she's deepening it! i hope you have an amazing tarantula experience. what species are you getting??
@@geraldlewis4027agh! those are just the coolest. i was going to get one instead of the H. pulchripes, but she sold out right before i could! im glad i have my eragon though, she's feisty. i wish you luck in your hobby!!! 🕷🕸️
I’m finally getting my first T this week! I’m Australian so I’m pretty excited for a feisty old world. It’s a pity our T’s can’t be exported and don’t get enough love in the hobby. Our Phlogius species moult out blue, and some of our species make like a hissing sound!
In 2013 I decided to work on my arachnophobia. I found you in 2014. I've watched you ever since. I go through little spouts of allowing your videos to build up so that I can just watch them through. You have helped me so much. I had arachnophobia severely. I've had a couple scary situations with spiders. Literally had a spider chased me up a toilet once. My boyfriend laughed at me as he walked into the bathroom and then screamed like a little girl when the spider jumped off the toilet and then ran after him. Hahaha. I'm not going to go through all my traumas. The bird spider one was pretty scary. Literally stuck on my face. Thank goodness I was wearing glasses. The one time in my life I was so happy for them.. Watching you work with them How cautious you are and how loving you are. And how you can handle them. And noticing that you are very careful not to get bit. You are so thorough about talking about their enclosures how they live how they are what they eat. I'm so proud. I have not killed the single spiders since 2013. I've even allowed a few of them to live in the house. And I have successfully removed eight spiders. The other ones I allowed to live in the house. It was winter. I couldn't bring them outside. They would die. The ground frozen and no burrows. My son said, he wouldn't use the front door because I allowed one to stay there. Don't worry I successfully removed her during the spring. We left the front door alone just so that she could be okay.. Thank you for your patience thank you for your time and thank you for your craft. When I first started watching your videos I would scream and yell. Now I watch them with loving delight and excited to see them. Isn't it amazing how we can change each other's lives. Without even knowing. Just being ourselves. The beauty of life. Truly we need each other more now than we have in our own lifetime.. If some do not see it yet you will see it soon, sooner than later. Much love to you and yours. May blessings be at your feet and always be given by your hands. Oh WOWSERS Poecilotheria metallica. Ohhhh soooo beautiful... The intricate design. The beautiful blue legs. Oh my gosh how pretty.. 😍
Hey Petco, this is the first time me commenting on a video of yours. I have been watching for awhile and caught up on all old vids. You are so fun to watch. Thanks for sharing with us all. Very much appreciated!!
This is very therapeutic to watch. I've been keeping a lot of tarantulas before but because of obligations to the family they had to be re-home. Still been keeping a few adults but because of your videos I still feel the excitement and thrill of feeding these beautiful tarantulas. Thank you so much.
Great footage of the big beautiful Linda, Bonita & Bella and that G. pulcra so shiny and black, very nice. Ill be looking forward to you pairing Blondino & Bonita. thanks Petko!
This is the most awesome feeding video I've seen. And I love the excitement in your commentary. You have such an awesome collection of gorgeous tarantulas! They are so stunningly beautiful. Thank you. 🕷 I went from accidentally watching a jumping spider video a few months ago and really getting into them to now really enjoying watching these beautiful tarantula videos. I think I may want one of each. Lol. Ugh but so expensive. Keep up the great content.
Soooo cool!!! Thanks, Petko. That was bad-ass. Beautiful T's and creative enclosures. I wish I could start my own collection but going thru very hard times. Thanks again for great content.
I like the night time videos and I love the Metallica's! I plan on having multiples myself, only one at the moment but Its a work in progress as it should be! Happy keeping my friend!
I love the way the area of the world you live can change the meaning of words. He called tarantulas nightcrawlers. Here in the US nightcrawlers are a kind of worm. I love it 😆
yes, centipedes ALWAYS eat their molt. that is normal behavior. you will never see a molt from a centipede unless you literally see the centipede WHILE it is molting.
I use the follow u and watch ur video regularly before ur new set-up and i still remember ur pet centipede Devil... Last video i remember that Devil was gon ... Now after long time again watching ur video i feel same but now ur expert and experience... Love ur video ..❤️
I have heard that once the males mature they are truly only interested in one thing (obviously) so on a survival of the species type level they aren't that into food because it makes their body have to take the time and energy to digest the meal - so in a sense giving them less potential mating time before they die. however, I'm just regurgitating info, and have a long way to go learning about tarantulas!
Seeing the roach being pulled into the web was terrifying 🤣
Are you secretly a roach 🤔
.. this combined with an imaginary scream was really horrible 😂😂😂
Now just imagine that when your sitting on the toilet.
I forgot just how striking the Metallica's coloring is, and the night lighting really brings it out. Gorgeous!
The Vietnam Blue’s takedown was the most terrifying the way she just quickly fell backwards back into her burrow after she grabbed the roach 😂
Perhaps in the future you could use a night vision mode, or a colored light to diffuse the brightness, then your animals won't be so disturbed by it.
FLIR would be cool and pretty cheap to get a FLIR cam these days.

@@geraldlewis4027 likewise my friend! i love finding people who are also new into the hobby like me :)

i’m in the USA. i think we only have one australian T in our hobby which is a bummer because i’ve seen some Australian T’s and man they are stunning
finally after all those years it is dark in the dark den :D
It's 6am in Australia rn and am eating my breakfast watching some happy tarantulas. Thanks petko!
Why don't try and watch " Daves Little Beasties " Dave has been in the game for 40 yrs . Dave has so much knowledge where T's are concerned .
Love your videos! They're helping me with my arachnophobia 🕷🕷

Finally! Please do more feeding videos, like one a month?
It’s 19:45pm where I’m at finally got to sit down long enough to watch this and definitely like the nite time feeding idea. I never miss a video
I'd never be able to be very creative with names for all of these. They'd all just be Shelob.
Your ladies did not let you down at all. Fantastic.
Keep up the videos Petko! Awesome to see how your channel has improved throughout the years

Your videos seem to always pop up when I need my daily intake of Dark den.

Replacing some of the LeD strips with lights that can also do red light would make for some good night shots.
Nice shots! Thanks!
