Love the rock on the lid of the centipede enclosure. We can deal with tarantula escapes but with this little devil you have to make absolutely sure it stays inside :-D
Especially in context! You see all these well-put-together enclosures... then you see one, off by itself, with a rock seemingly hastily put on top... makes you wonder what might be lurking.
I lost a diversipes sling once. For the first few days, I'd come home from work and it would be sitting on top of its enclosure making fun of me. Then one day it just wasn't.
I had 1 escape and didnt notice as it was a sling, then i saw a spider run up my wall and thought it looks suspiciously tarantula like and when I had a closer look it was 1 of my Y. diversipes 😅😅
3:25 I have one of these! (P. muranis, TCF) It's always fun to see someone else who has one of the other color forms as well! 22:28 Rare footage of me snagging my food delivery off the porch the second the driver looks away.
Such a success!!!! My fav video for now and the Dark Den looks really really 👍🏼 I miss getting 3 uploads a week but I’ll take what I can get! I’m happy to see you’re channel still going strong ! Great job Petko
I am literally BUG~Eyed watching your videos. 👁👅👁! And the commentary you give to each and every one of your truly loved 8 legged family is FASCINATING to watch. I had a tarantula many many years ago named Fred. A gift from an ex boyfriend. Along with a blue front Amazon parrot named Gus. Donnie (ex bf) is long gone, Fred 🕷is with his spider spirit family..and Gus 🦜 is still with me after 30+ years! Thank you so much for the charming education and/or entertainment you share with others. YOU ARE A SPECIAL UNIQUE LOVING HUMAN BEING! Much Love💓🤟🤙🌺💞 Btw: I freaked when I came home one day and Fred had shed his outer shell…I had no idea they did that and it was perfectly shed upright. 😳 I thought there were 2 tarantulas in its tank!!! So freakin cool!!
I stumbled on to Davies little beasties and found that spiders are really fascinating.. Now I am out exploring other great sites.. I like yours a lot too.. I want to take this time to thank all of you folks that have a real passion for such thing for taking the time to share with all of us (except my wife) your great treasures.. Very pretty spiders.. Whoa.. I have never seen those kind of mantis before. Thanks! Carry on!
Loving your videos! I think that all of the people - amateurs and long-timers - can learn a lot from you. Funny thing is that I'm taking an interest on building enclosures every time I watch you, even though I have only one tarantula and my job is in finances. Thanks and keep it up!
Wow this video was soooo amazing, the length was good, I didn’t mind the long vid at all and I loved seeing all the amazing take downs, keep up the great work petko, plz more vids like this
Definetly one of your best feeding video's! Glad things are coming together nicely. You should try the UV light on a few Tarantulas in the darkness, see if any have any reaction /color changes... Especially some of the blue or white tarantula
Thank you for the videos. Your work has inspired me to collect and I've already got A. seemanni female and a T. albopilosus. I've got my eye on A. avicularia at the local petshop. Thank you so much!
You should buy online mate as you can get them cheaper and good chance if you buy from large online supplier you are buying from the place the pet shop buys from 😊 do it get the Avic. avic, I have 1 and she is always out on show and walking about. My Avic. purpurea is the same 😁
Petko: Tonight on the menu Roaches: Wait what- Petko: We have bunch of hissing roaches of all sizes Roaches: *Why are we still here...just to suffer?* One human, to feed them ALL
The only complaint I have is with the sand spiders.. I get trying to reveal where they are so you know where to drop the roach. But I like it when you just drop the roach in and let it run around and it surprise everyone when the spider grabs it. Other than that, I love the video!
Finally a long video now that you only post on Mondays it’s nice to see something that is much longer and filled with content thank you so much Petko!!!
Love your channel! Just discovered you a week ago! I love how you legitimately care for all of your creatures!! And you have the best habitats! Peace and best wishes to you and your family sir! 🖤
@Darnese Bell check out Dave's little beasties and tarantula collective as well both have over 20 years experience keeping and breeding T's 😊 like dark den you also have exotics lair and tarantula Kat are both entertaining to watch as well 😁 they are definitely worth checking out 😊😊😊
That take down at 34.41 minutes was epic, I was positive the turantula wasn't having any but then all of a sudden the turantula comes rushing out, it was so cool! 😁🕷🦂🦗
Wow! This was an amazing feeding video. Thank you for sharing a look into these spectacular animals lives with us. My life is richer because of you. Sending love and positivity to you and your family.
Your place is truly 1 of the most awesome places I've ever seen. I just watched your more recent video about everything you have. Some of my reptiles won't accept hissing cockroaches for some reason and only like dubia cockroaches but my pet opossum loves hissing cockroaches.
I'm absolutely loving watching ur videos n I used to be petrified of spiders even tho the big ones didn't scare me the little ones did but now I love them
Hey! Thanks for all your videos they always make me laugh and get entertained. You got me into collecting tarantulas and there very fun and cool! I really enjoy them and you're videos. I have gotten lots of merch, masks and stickers!😀
Loved this! Thank you that was the serotonin I needed after my Stromatopelma calceatum sling bolted during a rehouse tonight lol. Don't worry, sling wasn't on the run for long. Really excited for an update on your fish tank!
it's a spiny assassin bug, and it can't kill a person. the only reason the kissing bug can kill is because it spreads chagas disease, and the spiny assassin bug eats insects, not blood
****** 37:44 🕷🪳 this is one of the greatest sneak attacks! I never thought I would be so amused watching spiders eat, but I watched the whole video..... Thanks
i really enjoyed the video especially the scorpions.. keep up saludos from Greece, Thessaloniki -- i remember one day when i was driving in a road i'm 100% sure i saw a big tarantula trying to pass the road idk what happend to it..
Love how your pink toe tarantulas are shy, my metallic pink toe t is super friendly. Allows you to touch her, shine little light on her, and super nice and chill. Can we see more of your Linda?
Ok i dont care how much you have i was just saying hes a great youtuber and how he inspired me to get them. U wasent bregging but you are. I really dont care you could have one thousand and i wouldn't care
You know I always wonder if you could get a dog clicker you press on it and makes a snap noise and you click outside the cage to see if you can almost train them it'd be like if they hear that clicking it means there's food outside and they're like peek out looking to be fed
No way, no how, no amount of money could get my pansy-butt to own/live with this many arachnids and insects. But I do love how invested in these creatures you are!
“Despite her chunkiness she is still hungry”
Me on thanksgiving
Lol
LMFAO
🤣🤣 Me every day of my life 🤣
Ah the best part of my Mondays.
fr
Ya!
"So how many tarantulas are you gonna feed this time around?"
"Yes"
I can always count on you to comment on every Dark Den video, Supreme Leader.
This is the only thing Mondays are good for!! They are awesome!!
Love the rock on the lid of the centipede enclosure. We can deal with tarantula escapes but with this little devil you have to make absolutely sure it stays inside :-D

Yes!! A long Dark Den video! I prefer the longer videos since we are down to one video a week.
Yes😂
I lost a diversipes sling once. For the first few days, I'd come home from work and it would be sitting on top of its enclosure making fun of me. Then one day it just wasn't.
I had 1 escape and didnt notice as it was a sling, then i saw a spider run up my wall and thought it looks suspiciously tarantula like and when I had a closer look it was 1 of my Y. diversipes 😅😅
Love it. I got into watching The Dark Den because of feeding clips. Then I just got totally into everything tarantula based. Thanks for this. Amazing.
Same here
same here, I now own tarantula's. despite the fact I used to be 💩of spiders. Now I love them, getting another one next week.🇬🇧🦋
Thank you Petko!!!! This is exactly what I needed after getting off work today. 38 minute feeding video? hell ya!
3:25 I have one of these! (P. muranis, TCF) It's always fun to see someone else who has one of the other color forms as well!
22:28 Rare footage of me snagging my food delivery off the porch the second the driver looks away.

As I am an insect, spider, scorpion and centipede guy, who owns them. I can say you need to put a rock on the centipedes cage!
I stumbled on to Davies little beasties and found that spiders are really fascinating.. Now I am out exploring other great sites.. I like yours a lot too.. Love to see how you improved over the years, always looking forward to video's, RIP despesito
And cappuccino 😢

The small pincers on your scorpion are chelicerae and that was a really good clear view of them!
I haven’t seen this channel for a couple of years and it has changed so much!!!!!!
This set up is awesome I love the enclosers definitely looks like you put in a lot of time and effort to make your spiders feel at home..
I can't tell you how much your gentle spirit has calmed me down with my Ts. much love...

He's quite problematic of hoarding animals without knowledge of how to take care of them.
@@nom3nnescio u know him like dat?
@@nom3nnescio so which animals doesnt he know how to take care of? By your comment it's pretty obvious you dont own inverts.
@Darnese Bell check out Dave's little beasties and tarantula collective as well both have over 20 years experience keeping and breeding T's 😊 like dark den you also have exotics lair and tarantula Kat are both entertaining to watch as well 😁 they are definitely worth checking out 😊😊😊
This is classic dark den! Missed these type of feeding videos.

Best. Video. Ever. The only reason to look forward to a Monday is the Dark Den video.
The one with the purple iridescent legs is so pretty!! The one that had a webbed up enclosure
The. Ultimate. Take. Down. Video! Superb video 🤩
This is now the third week we have failed to see Petko add sand for the texture to an enclosure. I can feel the withdrawal shakes starting.

Personal favorite was the “pink toe” one where we could see the eyes! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

13:15 is that a kissing bug? the bug that is very poisonous and can kill a person if he/she was bitten???
it's a spiny assassin bug, and it can't kill a person. the only reason the kissing bug can kill is because it spreads chagas disease, and the spiny assassin bug eats insects, not blood
35:35 the voice crack lol (after he says he needs to be fed)
As always a pleasure to watch, funny and cool. I think my favourite was the auratum, or the one that ran out of its enclosure. XD

Its really cool how some can show you how harmless these cool tarantulas really are if taken care of.😊
Love the sandspiders. Itd be awesome to try and top view where you drop the prey and leave it to get caught
Sweet intro with the feeding shorts timed.wirh the taps
@25:15 - 25:20ish, never seen a tarantula run backwards to catch its prey, I didn't know they could do that. 🤔😃👍
Love how your pink toe tarantulas are shy, my metallic pink toe t is super friendly. Allows you to touch her, shine little light on her, and super nice and chill. Can we see more of your Linda?

You know I always wonder if you could get a dog clicker you press on it and makes a snap noise and you click outside the cage to see if you can almost train them it'd be like if they hear that clicking it means there's food outside and they're like peek out looking to be fed
I love your videos and I learn a lot, thanks to you I have entered the world of arachnids
No way, no how, no amount of money could get my pansy-butt to own/live with this many arachnids and insects. But I do love how invested in these creatures you are!
