+Candy Blick I'm surprised their not In the R&RHF, What are they waiting for, Jeff Lynn to pass away first ? Many great bands have never made It and It's sad. The 70's brought us the greatest music and more record sales than any other decade, Rightfully so !

Been playing ELO a lot recently. Can’t believe how brilliant they are. In the same category as the Beatles in my opinion
Jeff Lynne was sometimes referred to as the "5th Beatle"
TBH, other than Hey Jude, I never cared for the Beatles. I see nothing great about'em. I realize they play an important part in music history, I just don't like'em...or the Stones (except Start Me Up).
I can do without the Beatles and Stones. But also makes me think what other bands wouldn't be bands without the influence of them both.
They're very talented, but I wouldn't go that far.
I always thought E. L. O. is what the Beatles would have sounded like in the 70s if they had stayed together. I personally hear a lot of Beatles influence in their music.

This was back in 1979...my brother, Nha had a 1978 brown Buick Regal that came with an 8 track tape player. While driving, he would play the 8 track tape of this song over and over. Rest in Peace in Heaven my dearest brother. May you and the Angels rock out on this song!

My sister and her friends started to listen to this music when I was about 10 and I remember loving it at that time. Now I'm 44 and I adopted this music as my own and I enjoy it every time I listen to it as I did the first time. :-)

Takes me back to the 80s , just a great time to be alive. Now I’m in my 70s, and I love looking back to that time.
IMO that has more to do with the fact that if one's life is going OK, their 30s is truly the prime of life.

I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw! Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO!
