Jeff Lynne and Elo have been so vastly underrated over the years -I think even though their music is mostly 'middle of the road' pop music,they have produced some quality songs over the last few decades.Jeff Lynne is such a talented performer and so deserves more recognition than he has had in his career.'Discovery' must rate as one of my favourite albums.I just love every song on there.This is definitely a favourite with 'Mr Blue Sky' and 'Concerto for a Rainy Day'.I see that Jeff has been nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and rightly so.Such a great artist,songwriter and performer.He and Elo deserve it.

I was at a vc at Discord, me and my friends were testing some new music bots one of them mistyped a song, and almost skipped but stopped when I said “wait, I recognize this melody!” shortly after, the “last train to london” part began to play, and I suddenly remembered why the melody sounded so familiar. I used to hear this music with my grandparents at 4 to 6 years old. I never thought I would get to hear it again until this happened! I can say I never felt more happy and relived so many memories at once.
Fucking amazing song. Of course the bass line it's epic, the chorus it's memorable. However, what I like the most it's the melody of the verses: "it was one of those nights.." effing great.

CKLW was a country station where im from maybe there were two different stations of the same name. You know music makes life bearable even in the worse circumstance.
