At 68 years old, I have come to the obvious conclusion that Mr. Lynne and the rest of the ELO band members have helped shape me and most of my entire generation into the happiest and caring people ever! Too bad you other "people" missed it! Thanks to Jeff and the band we had so much fun! Tell the others; You should have been there!

Last year I had a bleed on the brain, which gave me a stroke and my left side paralyzed. My dream was to walk again, and be me again.this song inspired me so much when I was really bad. Now a year later, I am walking again, without a stick I might add, I held on tight to my dream, the words in this song were so apt for me, I thank you Mr Jeff Lynne.

July 2020. Still loving ELO
Hello everyone, it's just little old me, I'm doing fine now ,even though it will be six years this year ( 2021) that I had the stroke. I am leading a fully independent life, I have some problems, especially with fatigue, but I'm getting along ok. I have just read through all the comments and surprised people are still commenting on my first comment. I want to wish everyone health and happiness for always, and to remember to 'Hold on Tight to your dreams.

It's summer 1981, I'm 25 and heading to the South of France in an old Ford Cortina Mk3 with the lovely Ransom twins and this is blasting out of the radio - what memories this song has for me. I spent the rest of my life with the twins.
This song should be played on all the Radio stations and social media during this pandemic.

I just saw them this Summer of 2019 on the US and Canada Tour...( Best Concert of my life) All the reviews agree they are the best live act in the world and Jeff Lynne is a Music Genius. They are in the Rock Hall of Fame. Lynne is on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and Birmingham Walk OF Fame.
