Holy fuck I want this SUV. Frankly I'd be happy to have almost any new electric car, but this beauty has everything I could ever want in a car. And it's quite pretty for an SUV in terms of design. But that interior is absolutely insane. The sedan seemed far less luxurious in the back compared to the SUV (although the front seats are comparable). All that technology and refinement makes this perhaps the most luxurious SUV on the market right now. If I were rich and had a family of my own, this would be my daily driver.

I am not sure I have ever failed to see the doorhandle in the dark. The boot is listed as 565 litres which is the same as a GLB and more than 100l smaller than on a GLE. So, quite small. I'd want more space for luggage.
I don't like how you showed the seating space. When you show the second row seats, you have to tell how's the driver seat positioned. And when you showed the third row, you clearly had the second row seat moved forward. So it's pointless to show that the 3rd row has lots of leg room, if the 2nd row has none.
Honestly, I love the Mercedes Benz EQS SUV but the AMG EQE SUV has suck a nice grill and I’m made that Mercedes isn’t making a AMG version.But nice work keep it up Autotrader😊
I’ve got to complete the spec of my model X plaid for delivery in Italy December/March 22/23… I enjoyed driving the EQA but I’ll stick with the X mainly due to the charging infrastructure
Unless we get major improvements in battery technology. EV's will never become mainstream. Introduction of solid state batteries will be a great way to start off.
£7K for the infotainment screen? Lawd ah mercy!! Even if i had £130k I'd be pretty miffed about that option cost. Apart from that, nice car and presentation.
Love all the new EV’s coming to market finally. The EQS is okay. I’ve been in the sedan and I was not a fan. The SUV is better looking and a more useful package. Though most of the luxury features are conventional gimmicks necessary to dazzle buyers and distract them, and aren’t substantial innovations. The interior looks like a cross between a karaoke machine and a nail salon… but at least they don’t make the air vents such a prominent design feature like MB does on most of their other vehicles. I would still go for the Model X Long Range. It is still the benchmark for large SUV/crossovers.
How are the performance? Are they anything similar to the tesla model X? Or porsche taycan S? The only thing about the Merc EVs is that they dont seem worth it?
This is not a review it's a paid promotion. The third row seats look like they'd be big enough for a child but not an adult the fact that it has door closing assist when Tesla already has door closing and you can't mention that.
I wasn't sure about the other Mecedes Benz Ev Designs because they Focus more on Aerodynamics over the Looks but this one is a Slam Dunk , a Home -Run all the way Inside and Out. That is the EV i would buy from Mecedes
This looks so much better than the model "egg". I do feel however that all the gimmickry like power everything and the exterior light show and illumination are mostly unnecessary. That fluid fill on the front fender is also a paint nightmare waiting to happen. It would be interesting to see how many batteries this thing contains, and for that matter how much this behemoth weighs.
It's a nice car but still not sold with fully electric cars. A car like this would be great for long journeys but the range wouldn't compare to combustion engines. Charging still takes a lot longer than refuelling too.
If I consider the cost and the size of the car you would expect to use it as a cross continental cruiser (and so to replace the airplane), but then the typical range of the electric cars it will make this car pointless.If we reach 700 km of range (at highway speed of course) the car could make sense, otherwise building 100kw batteries just to go and show off on the nearest shopping center doesn’t help the Planet.

Not a fan of the massive surfboard screen (I prefer physical buttons as you don't need to take your eyes of the road to operate them), but an absolute A+ for presentation. I hope to see more reviews presented by Alexandra Legouix.

You cant even tell what model it is when it drives by anymore. Same with sedan design, eqe and eqs literally the same car from the outside but one costs x2 times more. They are doing basically the same thing BMW did/still do with interior. All the bmws interior look exactly the same. Now Mercedes look the same from the inside and the outside as well... Car prices are going up and up but the design is getting lazier and lazier from germans.
Great video presentation and a very nice car if you want to spend that kind of money , but in the real world not to many takers, I just bought the Genesis GV60 last week for about half the cost of this and it does most of what this car does it has a beautiful fit and finish and all the toys . A GV60 is a compact SUV while the EQS SUV is full-size. You're comparing apples to oranges here. To get more realistic, the EQB's starting price is $2,000 less than the GV60 and comes with a lot of the bells and whistles as well. The only real difference there is the charging speed in the GV60 is nearly twice as fast.
Hybrid is the solution for at least the next 10 years. 43/44MPG. 500+ miles range in a 12 gallon tank. Zero charging time. Limited range full EV mode. 100% EV has too many limitations. Toyota knows and they have chosen hybrid. Beautiful car but these will be limited to urban use by people with easy access to charging. Also, cold weather and especially hot weather significantly reduces driving range (est 30% range reduction stated from my EV owning friends).
To me big screens dont mean luxury. Im fairly young, 25yo, and to me real luxury is an interior full of leather and wood. I think they put all this screens and piano black trim inside in order to save costs. This is just a theatre on wheels made to impress non car people. Aliexpress interior led lights everywhere.

EQS 580+ 4matic SUV, fully equiped with the most expensive option I could chose would in Sweden set you back roughly £169k (2.12m SEK) :)
