what sony radio did you install??? Have a yamaha fairing that I want to install a double din radio in it

Question, I have a 2018 heritage with radio, how did you run the ignition wire that turns the radio on when the bike comes on so you don't lose your programed channels?
So the radio that was installed before the radio I put in ; had a turn on wire and a 12volt wire when I tested it. If you run a 12 volt wire straight to the battery, and a turn on wire straight to your I ignition wire you should be good to go.
what Fairing make/model is the fairing that had the stereo/radio cauge/box on the inside of the fairing?

So the Sony radio wouldn't fit in the original hole of that fairing? I want this fairing but don't want their radio. I'm looking at changing all of that myself.
The Sony will fit just has a gap that needs to be filled to look decent. And keep water out.
Where did u hook up the remote power wire from the amp??? Same bike as mine just not sure where I can hook up that wire as it needs to be from accessory power so it's not always on.
I connected the remote wire from the amp, to the blue with white wire on the new radio. Or in some radios, it would be the solid blue wire coming off the radio pigtail
I'm just trying to find an accessory wire to attache the remote wire from the amp to my bike so it's not always on. My amp has Bluetooth so need need for a stereo. Can u see where they got the accessory power wire ran to on the bike???
@@rorygibbs9130 The accessory wire on this bike was already there from the old radio, so am not sure where it was ran from . But let me do some digging and am sure I can find something for ya !
@@rorygibbs9130 If you have an owners manual you could probably find the wire that way. Or you can also install a small toggle switch that would work as well

There are gain controls , and I set the Hi pass filter on the amp.
