Did you upgrade your charging system ? Any idea what the total Amp draw is ? I'm doing something similar , but was concerned about pulling too many amp .
How does the bike charging system deal with the extra load of the two amps? I think the charging system on these cruisers is 40 amps or so. Do your lights flicker at night while driving? Does the charging system maintain your battery to fully charged?
Is this receiver waterproof - I have not found anywhere that it is. If it is not, what is the plan to protect this unit from the elements? None of us plan to ride in the rain but Mother nature doesn't always cooperate...
Naaa, who needs that 3rd sock? Believe it or not, I can still fit enough gear in the bags for my self and there is still plenty of storage in the tour pack. I haven't seen how much I can pack yet but I know for a fact 2 helmets, daughters purse and a few other items fit just fine with room to spare. That is all I need, I only pack a couple days clothes anyway on trips. The Wife has her own bike with bags and can haul all her stuff on her own bike.
did your polks fit the arc audio adapters? My speaker is to small in diameter to fit the arcs . I have the 650's. i ordered the metra adapters they have 2 different sizes

How did you wore your speakers , Parallel or Series just curios cause I ordered the same speakers but the 2.7 ohm threw me off

Nvm you have the 6501 I have the 651 yours are 4ohm , REALLY nice Hog though
100 amp to run the speakers, alternator putting out 40 amps max. maybe. May need two battery
