I went from a 2023 Tacoma to a 2023 Gladiator. It's a fantastic truck. In my opinion, it's the truck to have if you're more serious about off-roading. Going to big tires is easy on this truck. I still think Toyota is great, but this Gladiator is pretty fantastic in the rocks. The Rubicon is the one to have. The rocks are what these trucks are made for. I go to Moab a lot, and the Gladiator is the one if you want an off-road truck for slick rock.
I own a Gladiator Rubicon, with a manual. It’s the perfect truck. It can be a work truck, commuter and a convertible. Plus it has the most off-road capability of any truck, with the ability to put on much larger tires that other trucks can’t. Try putting 38” tires on a F-150. It helped me convert a barn into a home. I put full 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall in it, no problem. And as a commuter I easily got 20 mpg. And no one is paying MSRP. You can easily get $5000 off. I did.
