You ain’t kidding. I want to get a midsize but I can’t justify the price tag. The top 3 I have on my list the Colorado, frontier, and Tacoma. I like the frontier that isn’t not turbo charged and it’s the only one I test drove. I’m a Chevy guy and really like the look of the Colorado but also consider the Tacoma since Toyota has been known to have longevity.
@@joshc606 Not really a mid-sized truck, and good luck getting one for $25k. I own one, and wouldn’t recommend it as a mid-size replacement. Throw in poor build quality, part shortages and tons of electrical issues, it’s not even worth MSRP.
I loved this review. Other than my Canadian boys on Truck King, no one ever compares the back seat room with someone else in the front. Great job gentleman. 😊
I agree. The wheels could have been neat but look phoned in. Rushed. I like the rack in the bed but they cheaped out. Looks incomplete without the off road lights.
Yeah then they brought that monstrosity of the 3rd Gen to market it and ruined the Dakotas sale success went from selling well over 130k units a year down to 75k in 2005 and by then end of 2012 just over 600 units.
I love the frontier for what it is, a pickup truck. The zero gravity seats are super comfortable and the fender audio is great for bumping music on a washboard dirt road
No kidding. Love most of their content, but feel like I have to suffer through any vid that Roman appears in. Really wish he would leave it to all the others involved.
Digging this comparison series. All are way too expensive, but I really think Ford has done well with the new Ranger. I like the looks, like the rear seat room, like the upcoming 2.7 V-6...
57:45 - Roman, most of us have one or two cars not 20 that cycle through every four months so we get used to what we have. I still don’t like the ignition button but when you’re not hopping between vehicles, your muscle memory sets in. your complaint is unwarranted. As far as engines go, I won’t trust the turbo until I see many of them crossing the 200,000 mile mark without major engine repair.
The Ridgeline has all the needed benefits of a truck with none of the trucks' weaknesses. I always hear people say, "I wish my SUV had a bed." Ridgeline is the best of both worlds.
I left a comment earlier. I own a Gladiator Mojave. For a Jeep the Mojave has a comfortable ride. However the Ridgeline is in a class of its own. I drove my son's 2019 Ridgeline last week. I had it for a few days as we swapped trucks for shits and giggles. Its so smooth and comfortable I am seriously considering trading the Gladiator in for it. Its not a rugged exterior and not meant for serious off roading but everything else about it is perfect for everyday use. Its truly the perfect non off road every day truck.
You say all of these are about $45k, but what you're getting for that $45k varies pretty wildly...... Let's compare: Nissan Hardbody is about $46k, but is their top trim. The Honda Trailsport is also about $46k but is well-equipped (leather seats, etc). The Tailboss... That starts at $38,000 and MAYBE touches $46k if you option it with everything... which you didn't, so that truck is NOT $45k. The Ranger hits $45k is if you get it pretty well decked out. The Tacoma.... is $45k for a TRD Off Road... barebones with an automatic transmission. No leather seats. No options. Nada. So.... please.... be more honest about what you're getting for the money. 🙄
Outside of watcbing TFL do these comparison videos, it would be awesome if you could actually walk on a lot where all of them are parked side by side, so that you can actually cross shop them all on one lot. But...Unicorns, Sasquatch, and the Lochness Monster don't actually exist. Thanks TFL for bringing them all together for us. Just wish I was standing right there with you.
My 2024 TRD OR has an electric rear window and moonroof but it was an option. And yes, rear windows are necessary in these smaller trucks, they greatly improve wind flow and noise when windows r down. Good comparison video, guys!
Glad to see the Ridgeline as an actual part of the comparison. It’s a bit exhausting hearing all about the higher tow or off-road chops for some of these brands when so so many consumers aren’t going to need to actually use that capability often. But fitting a friend, a kid, or a dog in the back seat, or driving for longer than 30 minutes with some regularity for comfort, or needing a vehicle that doesn’t need a step stool for the whole family to get into it, isn’t worth heavy consideration typically with the truck content. I get the niche that the truck channel serves, and the fact y’all are in Colorado, but the midsize segment doesn’t feel like it serves the same market/needs as the heavy duty or full size segment, functionality and livability at a competitive price range seem worth valuing for these vehicles. A great side by side comparison of so many options in this vid!
If I lived in Colorado and was using a pickup regularly like these guys do, I personally would choose one of the others. But otherwise, yes, for what it is as you mention (super comfortable including in the back seat, really nice ride, quiet cabin, non-turbo v-6 with plenty of power, etc) nothing really compares to it functionally for someone who isn’t using it for heavy towing and off roading, ie -most people. Why they can’t improve the styling I’ll never understand, though they did make some improvements to the front end in 2020 or so.
I agree with everything that you pointed out. Unless you're in the mountains where you might really need a true 4x4 or if you tow regularly, the Ridgeline is a fantastic choice when it comes to comfort in the cabin, road tripping with family and luggage or taking 4 adults out on a drive for more than 30 / 45 minutes. If you want a midsized truck and you'll need the true 4x4, towing and 90+% of the time, only 2 occupants, look at everything else in this comparison.
My previous truck was an extended cab 2WD, and my current truck is an extended cab 2WD. But every time the guys at TFL see a 2WD, they say "it's only 2WD" and treat it like it's useless. If it's not a 4x4 with forced induction, then it's a horrible truck for driving in Colorado, and the TFL guys think nobody would want it. I bought a 2016 Canyon because I wanted an extended cab long box truck that isn't available anymore. I drive in the snow in Canada, and it works great. Sure, I carry a shovel and tire chains in the winter, but even 4x4s get stuck sometimes.
@@brad4527eventually that will be all there is, with regulations being forced upon the truck industry, I would say next generation all v6 will be gone in this sector... You will most likely have to go for a full size to get a V6, and even the V8's are going away in the regular half ton sector. Things are changing and unlikely to go back.
@williamw3501 no doubt about it!. 2 weeks ago I drove to Charlotte Motor Speedway with my Foxbody in tow for Foxtoberfest. My Ridgeline did not disappoint me at all!
As a 2023 ridgeline etl-e owner I can still say I love coming to these videos and seeing the differences in the trucks . I am absolutely amazed how sloppy the Toyota is under the hood . The the ranger infotainment system looks night and day better than my ridgeline .
Well done guys, it gives the viewers the ability to have side by side comparisons without seeking multiple videos!!! This has to be your most underrated video…
Ridgeline is probably the most practical for families. The Trailsport trim also gives you leather, ambient lighting, power folding side mirrors and parking sensors. Would have to go up to the $50k+ trims of the others to get some of those options. I personally think the Ridgeline Trailsport with a 1.5” lift would be the best long term buy.
I have a Colorado TB. It's exactly what I wanted in a midsized truck. Part work truck, part off road truck. I want less spent on creature comforts and more on performance. The looks are the icing on the cake. I can see how this isn't what everyone wants in a truck but it's perfect for my needs.
Not just inflation but buying power decreased significantly due to median wage, (accounting for inflation) now vs 20-30 years ago (or even 10 years ago). So everything is more expensive, _and_ there are fewer consumers are making enough to be considered middle class
i got my 21 ranger 4x4 xlt new for 33k…still thought it was too much at the time. I do enjoy the simplicity of the truck and it has plenty of engine imo…
Based on purchasing power, trucks cost almost the same today as they did in 2005. A 2005 super duty king ranch was 60k back then, it’s now 100k. In 2005, 60k had the same buying power as 97k does today, and you get a much more capable, efficient, feature-rich and safer truck for your money.
Not bad. A good overall comparison with no clear winner. It totally depends on what you are looking for in a truck. It seems like the pricing followed the level of options. The Honda had heated everything, and powered leather memory seats and it was the most expensive. The Nissan & Ford were next followed by the Taco then the Trailboss.
I just drove my son's 2019 Honda Ridgeline. I personally have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. It's color is Nacho so I understand Andre's plight with the color. Most people really like it. The Ridgeline is the most comfortable truck I've driven. When you look at it from the outside it doesn't impress. However the roominess and comfort of the interior and its on road manners is remarkable. If you are not planning on using the truck for rock climbing or serious off roading I would absolutely consider it. You don't even know you are in a truck, its that smooth.
The exhaust comparison was surprising aside from the obvious winner. It's 100% clear that resonators were part of Nissan's cost cutting on the Frontier and the VQ marching band is out in full effect there. The Colorado was surprisingly good sounding for a turbo 4 banger. The Ridgeline was smooth and quiet. The Tacoma sounds like an appliance and the Ranger sounds like a ricer boi already stuck a fart can on it. Ranger and Frontier were definitely the worst sounding.
I actually love that “bed trunk” on the Honda. Would be awesome to have something like that on full size trucks even if not as deep. Would obviously be an issue due to spare tire though.
Put a Ridgeline in a video and you can bet on the trolls coming out to talk crap about it. Love all these trucks and want all these trucks, but I LOVE my 23 rtle. I don't care that it's not as rough and tough (on paper) as these other options, but as a guy who does pretty average truck stuff like hauling mulch for our garden, filling it with camping supplies, and helping friends move slightly larger than average stuff, I can say it is far more truck than most people will likely ever need.
Not sure anyone is trolling when it comes to the Ridgeline. The thing is a unibody, not a body on frame, and although it has a couple positive notes, it's not really a body on frame truck so pointing that out isn't a troll, it's just a fact. Go back to the suburbs with your lil Ridgeline and your Home Depot John Deere model lawn mower (aka, not an actual John Deere lawn tractor, look it up). You aren't hard or working class, you're an office geek.
@@biggestsign ahhh yes, it is definitely sensitive. I have an ongoing joke with my wife... "Brake for what???" @@biggestsign the only safety system on my '22 that's a little too obtrusive is the emergency braking system, but I guess it's better to err on the side of caution with automatic braking. I turn off the LKAS (lane keep assist system) because I hate that feature altogether.

36:35 Roman's tired of it. I would still like to hear more about why it failed under those circumstances. It obviously should not have failed. Was it a faulty part, not fully engaged, or other one off situation? If it was something more than a one off, it would be nice to know.
Can we be honest here if the Colorado broke the front differential there would be endless videos ragging on GM and their quality, another thing vehicle hard parts should not be made to break.
Seriously I love this series! Such a vast array of models. Great job from the tfl crew. Only way it could get better is having Nathan there to harass Roman!
Go drive a ridgeline. Regarding comfort, handling and fuel econ they are infinitely way better than any other vehicle in this video. They won't tow or wheel as hard but for 95% of the time for 99% of people they will be the best "mid-size truck" out there.
You guys missed a few things on the Ridgeline. The in bed speaker system has been discontinued. The Trailsport also comes with off road suspension, and the 2017 model you tested that gave you the overheat warning has a different transmission.
I own a GMC Canyon and it's a great little truck but I really love the Ridgelines. Always been a great innovative addition to this class of vehicles. Unless you tow heavy (over 5k lbs) or do real hard-core off roading the Ridgeline is the best overall everyday.
@@canyonero2050it can't support far beyond its payload rating (in the bed) well, like body on frame trucks can, and it's ground clearance is across the bottom of the unit body instead of just at the bottom of the diffs on body on frame trucks. It's articulation is much more limited, too. Can confirm ground clearance and articulation come into play in dry fields, snow, and other normal not hardvore off road conditions. Even a 2wd body on frame truck with 8.2" ground clearance is more capable than the Ridgeline in crossing some basic obstacles in some so called off road conditions that are anything but extreme.
The 2nd Gen Dodge Dakota! Last of the midsized trucks worth owning, because the 6-1/2' beds were usable! Drop the tailgate and you could haul full sheets of plywood! And we're real fun with the 5spd stick! The whole class needs to go back to that format!
I agree wholeheartedly that and the load floor is easy to load items whereas most of these newer trucks sit too damn high IMHO. I have owned my 1999 Club Cab for 25 years.
@MichaelSmith-kr9qw what happened to it? That would be this year, or 2023, if you got it at the beginning of the 1999 model year in September- December of 1998
I added a 2" traxda lift on my ridgeline...imho the best bang for the buck at $1000 (400 for kit, 600 install). Brings it up to level with rangers, tacos, colorados...etc. Yup, take a bit of a hit (1-2 mpg) and yup, the backup sensors for cross traffic are about 20% less sensitive...but overall really like this package for the ridgeline.
@@atg1338 The Ridgeline is fine dude, it does that like 90% of the things truck people do with their huge trucks and as someone who offroads baja all the time a lifted awd would do fine (as long as you are not rock crawling) maybe struggle a little more but it will get there. We have this idea that we need a huge 4wd suv or truck but honestly alot of it is overkill.
@@mrvwbug4423 not wrong, but 1st gear on the 9 speed is 4.71, which is waaaay better then the old 6 speed. driving around town the transmission starts off in second, have to use the paddle shifters to take it down to 1st. However, you are right if you need a xfer case for those ratios for [insert reasons], then the ridgeline is not for you.
Versus the gm powerplant the ranger vs isn't that special. The v6 only has more power but less torque than the gm 4 banger not with the price difference. The 3.0 on the other hand...
@@atg1338 Nice truck, kind of a frumpy front end. If someone plans on putting a bumper and winch on it, it will probably look good. Right now its not ugly, just kind of meh.
@@robertopics I sell for Ford and Ford 2.7L is a fantastic motor. It produces torque at a very low rpm range also, so not all power is equal. It is basically bulletproof, If maintained properly. Fords 2.7 uses dual port injection and does not have carbon build up. It also used the same graphite composite block as the diesel motors. The power difference between the 2.7 and 3.0 is negligible. I would take the 2.7L because of the proven track record and durability.
I own a 2017 Everest. Capable and looks great. No need to drive something that says I need to be looked at. I think the the Ranger and Everest both looks exactly what they are, capable and reliable. I'm approaching 200k on my Everest OD and it still rides and feels like I drove it off the lot. No creaks, no weird noises and pulls anything.
I hate those retro wheels the Frontier. And I'm not a Frontier hater, either. I actually think the new Frontier looks great with the standard wheels and without the blackout. The glossy black plastic on the exterior makes it look like a low-cost model to me. I can't believe anybody pays extra to make it look like that.
In my 68yrs, I've had 4 Nissan, 1 ranger..the ranger left in 2010,..Beauty in eye of the beholder..For me styling goes- 1Ranger, 2Nissan, 3Honda, 4Chev, 5Taco..A real truck must have an min 6ft bed..or it's not on my list. I still have a slide in camper and you can haul 4x8 plywood...short beds seem more of a fashion accessory than a man's work truck.
Im not going to buy at these prices, but I like the mostly old school approach on the frontier. Bring back the mechanical gauges and switches. I dont want to look at a screen for that stuff...tho most do
The problem with the Ridgeline is that Honda doesn't give it the support it needs to really sell in higher volumes. It has been nearly 8 years since a full redesign and even with two refreshes, it is still two generations behind most Honda models in regards to technology and a generation behind in it's drivetrain. Despite all this, the Ridgeline has sold nearly 50k this past year while having any future past this generation very much in question.
Can't wait to see a Tremor package for the Ranger to compete more with the TRD Offroad Tacoma and Trailboss Colorado. The Maverick Tremor is a great little truck. So I have high hopes for a Ranger variant.
The Trailsport shown here is the third highest trim level, so the $47K price reflects its off-road feature set. The Sport starts at $41K and RTL at $44K for cheaper entry cost to the Ridgeline. I have an RTL and it has everything you NEED in this truck. The Trailsport is fine if you drive on gravel or mud often, and the Black Edition is mostly an excuse to charge customers $50K for the same basic truck.
@@paulk.1703And the second the revved it, the fact that it was a VQ was clear as day. Ye olde VQ marching band was in full effect. Part of the cost cutting on the new Frontier was obviously exhaust resonators, VQs without resonators sound like total shit.
The Ranger is not a Ute in Australia . . . as a mid-sized truck, Ranger is one of the larger entries. Utes are unibody platforms like an El Camino, Ranchero or Nathan's Santa Cruz.
Noboday has answered the question “Will the Tremor pkg return?”. I disagree with your opinion of the styling. It looks like a Ford truck. I think if they brought the Everest to the USA it would sell quite well.
Oooh good to see Roman with Andre again!! As for the Nissan wheels, I do not know guys, I totally disagree with you!, They are the Ugliest wheels I have seen, they remind me of the Chevy Lumina or 1980's FORD Explorer wheels...
You mention it in other videos, but you left out that only the Ridgeline and Ranger can fit a standard width pallet or 4x8 sheet flat in the bed. The rest need to be propped up above the wheel wells, which isn't ideal for flimsy sheetrock. This alone makes them the most useful of the stubby beds. Their real world payload capacity being tops doesn't hurt either. Andre does seem to have a hobby horse on the 400W outlet thing. Only one of these trucks will have, (that is it's not available yet,) a hybrid option that enables them to have the option package for the higher wattage outlets. The hybrid option is only going to be available on middle trims and up. Only a few of these trucks even have a 110 plug option at all, so bringing up that it isn't 2kW seems a niche concern. Also, as a service advisor, death to all engine covers! They just get in the way and get brittle and crack when older. Good job Ford and Toyota!
Thanks for sharing this video with us, your subscribers. And I'm glad I saw it, cause I didn't like a single one of them, and that's why I'll keep on buying full size trucks.
I ordered the 2024 chevy Colorado trail boss leather interior cruise control sprain bedliner the Wrangler Durr track offered tires everything I want and it cost 41K. You cannot beat that. And it's the nicest truck also.
Disagree. It's the same price as the Frontier. The real value choice here is the Chevy Colorado. You're obviously just a Ford fanboi. Cheap interior, ugly front end, overpriced but you call it a value proposition? I'd personally buy the Frontier with the V6 but the Colorado is definitely a good option (only difference is I would buy the convenience package so it would have cruise control).
100% depends on your needs. If you do mostly city driving you get the Honda. If you go offroad you get the trail boss. If you love sitting at the dealership you get the Ford....
I've sat at the ford dealership enough times while my fords were under warranty, their coffee sucks. lol. I traded my 2020 F150 in on a honda ridgeline.
My mom just got a 2019. Honestly it rides nice, it's quiet, the steering feels good, it has plenty of power, good fuel economy, and a simple V6 engine.
The Honda Ridgeline IS NOTTTT a midsize truck! It's NOTTT body on frame. It's NOTTT a midsize truck...PERIODDD. it's a COMPACT truck that competes with the Santa Cruz and maverick.
@@All-Miles-Matter it's literally bigger than almost all of the midsize trucks (crew cab 5ft bed style) which are way bigger than the maverick and Santa cruz
@@All-Miles-Matter It's actually better in some ways than the body on frame construction of the others. For instance they have a reinforcement beam between the bed and the interior space for safety in a frontal impact from loads coming through from the bed into the occupant space.. it's just a shame they haven't put a hybrid powertrain in it for it to really make sense for the size and money. The things barely do better mpg than an F150.
Good job, Ford! On one major item. You kept the key! Trading security for convenience is stupid. You can steal a lot of new vehicles through the headlights now when they're connected through the can bus system. Never mind through a transmitter key that is always beaming away and killing your fobs battery, and signals being stolen by thieves, etc. Some things are better left alone!
It'd be really cool if Honda made a Ridgeline Si and put the 3.0L turbo engine from the TLX Type S in it. Maybe also have a proper soft-roader package like the Passport. The HPD is all glitz and no glam.
Forget it. That engine ads a lot of complexity. Check the latest video of "The Car Care Nut Reviews" about the MDX. He goes into detail about the engine.
Great video. I have a 21 Tacoma Trd OR. I’m waiting at least another year before getting a new Tacoma & want to see how the hybrid max does. Plus I want to see if Honda comes out with the next gen Ridgeline. I wish Honda would use their 2.0 liter Turbo with Hybrid and offer 9 inches ground clearance from the factory. 👍🏻
Very helpful. I'm taller so the backseat comparison is appreciated since these trucks aren't widely available where I live. I thought I had it narrowed down to the Colorado and Frontier, but the Ranger has entered the chat. Curious how much the Ranger's V6 will cost. Ranger seems the most cleverly designed, Colorado the most powerful, and the non-Hardbody Nissan is the best value and probably more reliable. Decisions! Decisions!
FINALLY picked up my '24 ZR2 last weekend. 300mi and it's been in some snow and mud already. Hopefully I can come up and go offroading with you guys some time, you have some cool trails up there.
@@jg8464 I picked mine up with 9mi on the odo. With the first tank (of whatever cheap shit gas the deal put in) it was originally showing maybe 13-15mpg on the dash. I didn't bother to calculate that tank because I thought it was pointless since the engine was new, and who knows how full the tank was and with what. So, the first full tank of 92octane I put in it got me 17.6 calculated mpg (the dash showed about 18.1), and the dash it showing 19.1mpg on this new tank of 92 so far in mixed driving but no offroad. I have about 650mi on it now. I DO run it 75-85 on the hwy, and it's obviously as aerodynamic (LOL) as a brick as it gets BETTER mileage in town. THAT'S a new one in my experience. I like to have my tires near max pressure for better handling and mileage, so I'm running 43psi (OEM is 36psi per the doorjamb sticker with the tires showing a max load at 50psi, so I'm splitting the difference. Also, I'm at 5,300ft altitude, so that might help as well. One thing that is unusual, and perhaps concerning, is it seems to run the oil temp hot. Even on a cool night (47deg F) at highway speed with plenty of airflow the oil temp was reading about the 2 o'clock position. Not near the red, but definitely farther than the 12 o'clock position than I thought it should be. When I bring it in tomorrow to check on the "check engine" light, I'm going to ask about that. Seems hot with no load on a cool night. what's it going to be in the hot summer towing something? Is an aftermarket oil cooler going to be needed? Best of luck with yours!
Going through the midsize truck buying and test driving process... we almost bought a Ranger XLT but tried a Chevy Colorado last minute. It was WAY better! Interior, drive, tech and value. And what's great is the Colorado came out last year (2023), so you can find 1 year used and they can't sneak in Accessories charges for new ones, cause it's used.
36:35 well that's a telling reaction. You can tell he's got good business ties with Toyota and doesn't want to ruin the relationship. I think he's being far too caviler about the situation. The job of journalists (even automotive journalists) is to provide unbiased information to the public, but in this case I think TFL is too worried about spoiling their relationship with their Toyota guy.
Tarnishes their reputation as journalists. And based on Roman’s attitude about it, I think this will be the last video I watch. He’s always annoyed me, but the lack of integrity seals the deal.
The Ranger with the 2.7 EcoBoost is the best truck there. It might not look the best but it IS. And if your hate the front end that much you can always to a Raptor front end swap
To me ranger looks the best all around followed by the GM Nissan Toyota then Honda. Honda front overhang awkward as always. Proportions with the tiers the Chevy is best.
I like Andre's Colorado TrailBoss. Get the $325 convenience package for cruise control and tinted windows. 4 auto is great as they discussed. And at a less expensive price than others. Ranger design looks cleanest and best to me- if it had a larger fuel tank I'd pick that one. Tacoma seems over-priced - and the reliability notion is out the window with a new design.
Roman was a bit annoying when he just shuts down Andre during the initial talk of the Toyota and the issue with the differential. Value your employees and what they have to say. By hiring them to review these vehicles, you are saying that what they have to say is important. So let us hear it!
You can’t claim a new ridgeline overheats because a older 17 6 spd did. Neither have low range but the 2020 plus 9spd has a very short 1st gear with 2nd gear being very closer to the old 6spds 1st gear in crawl ratio. Also incorrect to say the system brakes wheels as the ridgeline nor the passport have brake vectoring capabilities, they have tq vectoring diff in the rear
@billricheter5678 Agree about off-road but the Honda will absolutely have the lowest long term cost of ownership. The Trailsport trim compares better to the Pro4x, Lariat and Denali when comparing features.

The Honda Ridgeline is a game changer.
The Ridgeline would be the objective winner for 95% of the actual day to day real world users
$45k! The only thing they need to redesign / update is the crazy prices
I’ll tell you what you’re getting is you’re getting ripped off! None of them should be priced over 20,000
lol hardbody is not the top trim from Nissan
My loaded Rubicon Gladiator cost $48k... Superior to every truck mentioned in this video...

I don’t know about Unicorn or Lochness but the Sasquatch package exists.

Excellent points…I also noticed that Blaze and Roman only climbed into the bed of the Ridgeline 🤔
It’s not a real truck, sorry!!

I can see how this isn't what everyone wants in a truck but it's perfect for my needs.
Inflation sucks so much cause these should all be like 32,000 for each of these not 40 plus
Not just inflation but buying power decreased significantly due to median wage, (accounting for inflation) now vs 20-30 years ago (or even 10 years ago).
So everything is more expensive, _and_ there are fewer consumers are making enough to be considered middle class
Bidenomics
i got my 21 ranger 4x4 xlt new for 33k…still thought it was too much at the time.
Great video. And I love that scenery in the background. You could’ve filmed this in a Denver parking lot someplace, but this is so much better.
I actually love that “bed trunk” on the Honda. Would be awesome to have something like that on full size trucks even if not as deep. Would obviously be an issue due to spare tire though.

Not sure anyone is trolling when it comes to the Ridgeline.
People want reliability from Honda, same reason why Toyota took 15 years to redo the 4Runner and people continued to buy.

It's funny how Nissan came out with the 3.8 3 years ago and TFL and other reviewers are referencing it as an older motor.

They look like a cheap plastic wheel cover from Walmart🤔
Doing a video with Roman is like herding cats.

You guys should do like a top gear type of show. It's great people and great subject matter. Keep going!!!!
Right on!
I’ve been waiting for this video series for years!
Wow Roman you are less than enthused. I get it we all have bad days. Thanks anyway for the upload
Thats exactly what I was thinking and I didnt like it.
He’s always like that… blaze should replace him 😂
Going through the midsize truck buying and test driving process... we almost bought a Ranger XLT but tried a Chevy Colorado last minute. It was WAY better! Interior, drive, tech and value. And what's great is the Colorado came out last year (2023), so you can find 1 year used and they can't sneak in Accessories charges for new ones, cause it's used.
My Ridgeline rear glass is powered. 2023 rtle
Same at mine and it's a 17 RTL-E
@@TermlessHGWI had a 2006 it was powered
Great job on the comparison, a lot of information on them all.
I'd pick the Ridgeline without a nanosecond of thought.
@@FoxFreak No worries, agree its best to find sites that best resonate with what you seek.
Andrew and Andress, where is the GMC Canyon 2024
Great review! Especially when you explain and show the interior rear passenger seats area. You guys give more insight and outlook.
Tacoma and GM twins looks the best, Ranger looks the worse. GM quality is the issue, and I Sick of all my issue's with my 2024 Trail Boss.
Excellent video, thanks ! Have a Blessed Day!
Ford Ranger all the way!
The Colorado Trail Boss looks and IS the best!
@jeanclaude7018Oh yea? Let’s see how the legendary Toyota Tundra engines hold out without engines blowing up at 7k miles 😃
Roman was a bit annoying when he just shuts down Andre during the initial talk of the Toyota and the issue with the differential. Value your employees and what they have to say. By hiring them to review these vehicles, you are saying that what they have to say is important. So let us hear it!
I’m torn between the Canyon & the Frontier
You can’t claim a new ridgeline overheats because a older 17 6 spd did. Neither have low range but the 2020 plus 9spd has a very short 1st gear with 2nd gear being very closer to the old 6spds 1st gear in crawl ratio. Also incorrect to say the system brakes wheels as the ridgeline nor the passport have brake vectoring capabilities, they have tq vectoring diff in the rear
I like the Rigdesport the best!!
It is not really a truck. Also can not go off-road. Also has expensive maintenance cost with its timing belt. For highway and comfort it wins
You like minivans
@billricheter5678 Agree about off-road but the Honda will absolutely have the lowest long term cost of ownership. The Trailsport trim compares better to the Pro4x, Lariat and Denali when comparing features.
@@hsvnole it has very expensive insurance and maintenance is expensive.ask any mechanic. The Honda Ridgeline Reliability Rating is 3.5 out of 5.0, which ranks it 6th out of 7 for midsize trucks.
Its an suv with a bed🤣
is there a chance ford bring back the tremor trim for the ranger?
Thank you for making this video. All of these trucks let me down.
But you guys are awesome!
I own a 22 Frontier with 6' bed. It is set lower than others; I like that. I bought it because no turbo. 34,000 miles, no problems. I haul stuff, not people. No excuses needed. If you want rear seat comfort, buy a $60k money pit.
You two are hilarious together and have such good chemistry on camera
In the bedroom as well! 😛
Are you on pills? If not then maybe you should be. They have families. Roman’s kid is employed by the channel.
