Just a little Update on 2 points after talking to Soelpec: - the USB cable has been updated to a better quality one - the screw for the mounting bracket now sits flush 😅
yup haha...although the only "good" reason I see for doing that is to have real LED rev lights (or TC/ABS lights) flashing at you; it makes a difference (especially the blue ones).
Banger Video. Loved the Part where you talked about the Internals, we need to keep that one for wheels too! Really interesting. Product seems great too
I was looking at dashes for the price, and just decided to send it and buy the Grid Porsche DDU 10 inch for a couple hundred more. I absolutely love it.
Hello I have a question I raced a few times on a sim now I’m in general very interested in sim racing and I’m thinking about buying a complete sim racing set up would you recommend it 😊
Oh my gosh you may have inadvertently given me another avenue to attempt with troubleshooting my sporadic CSX3 issues! NZXT Cam! This looks great and I think HRS should stock it in Australia at a guess.
Hello, good morning, thank you for your video, because in my dash yours says deploy mode and soc % in mine it shows last lap delta and refuel, I don't know how to change it I can only change the bottom part I would like to have it as you, thank you.
Hey dan, loved you review, so much i went and bought 1 and it arrived today :) are you willing to share the STL file for the mounting are you printed ?
@@DanSuzuki I've been looking at the various software projects to control switches, LEDS, etc. At 4:30 you mentioned the RP2040 & software - I replayed it with headphones and you spoke of their wheel. First time round couldn't quite hear correctly. Anyhoo - keep up the good work.
@@DanSuzuki yeah when i wrote a comment i went and tried it out....the plugin doesn't recognize soelpec dash of course, but it works apart from led profiles, or at least i have to figure it out how to make them work.
Dan, does this offer much over just using an old iPhone? I have several of those knocking around and while they are not great as phones they have bright retina displays much higher resolution than the Vocore screens What advantage does a standalone one like this have please?

Hey Dan. May I ask why your not using your Orouge seat anymore? I was considering that seat. Is it comfortable?
padding just wore out ... seats dont last forever unfortunately@@richdudecamaro
@@DanSuzuki ahhh ok. That’s good to know. What seat are you running now? How is it for comfort?
the intro sentence was incredibly smart and hilarious, just saying the obvious, yet uncovering some of the stupidity of our beloved hobby :D

Dan is so thorough and technical while making it easy to understand. Another stamp of approval to purchase.

I’m in not the market for a dash but watched the full video anyway because your videos are always informative and entertaining. Cheers Dan!
Awesome! Thank you 😊
this is a great review if i wasn't buying the FPE V2 I would've purchased this. I love how digestible the nerdiness was. I enjoyed it
Could always buy the Spectra XR instead 👀😂

Super nice production quality. Worth the effort you put in. Makes me wanna get more :)

Hey Dan, will you be reviewing Spectra XR wheel from SOELPEC? I think same display is on the wheel as well.
Great review again, and I am really liking the presentation. If my videos look similar, just know it was all b/c of you. lol
Awesome video. Thx
The video quality with the transparent screen share is top tier!
Hey great review as always!! Which would you recommend the most this Soelpec dash or Grid dash? both are around the same price, thanks in advance :)

Dan, nice review of the dash.
LMAO that intro!
Where can I get this dash to use on my simhub? 0:07
That intro was outrageous 😆 but pure facts

Oh I just grabbed a random one from thingiverse - just search for GoPro extension :)
@@DanSuzuki ah ok. Will do. Thank you for your fast reply
From which brand are these pictures in the background?
@DanSuzuki which DDU project did you refer to re RP2040?
sorry not sure I understand your question?

Only took me about 2 hours in editing 🤣
Where to buy that magic arm ?
Check amazon for „smallrig magic arm“
@@DanSuzuki Thanks man for the reply 👍
do you plan on reviewing the wheel too? asking for a friend
Tommy no, you don’t even drive! 🤣
@@DanSuzuki i said it was for a friend right? :^)
New gear = drive you know this
This guy knows quite a lot about sim racing hardware. He should work for a sim racing company or something.
First ten seconds - pissed my pants! Don't need it. Thumbs up anyways :)
Haha that intro sentence.
does the software work with other vocore screens?
yes of course!

GRID Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Dashboard best , but nowhere avilable anymore
but it's sooooo huge.
I have a hard time understanding how this is worth more than 100-150. 400 is just ridiculous.
Well, make your own like this, sell it for 150€ …. Get rich? 😅
