I love bass flexibility. Thank you Panasonic for including a subwoofer output. It will simplify my HT set-up, for me and my family. Thanks Brian for reviewing it.
Another awesome video from Brian! Come on, there’s nobody better with these reviews. Brian gives so much tech information on every set he does. Also, gives great comparisons on earlier models. Thank you so much, as always.👍
Damn, those new Panasonic's look good! Say Brian, you mentioned that with software you can get the speakers to operate on the bottom only, top or sides. Can this same new software activate all of the speakers at the same time? That would be one of a hell of a sound if they could all be booming at one time. If not, perhaps Panasonic can work out this full speaker system with an upgrade. I've also noticed in the comments that some people like the wider legs instead of a center stand. If some company is up to it they could make custom wide leg mounts for many of these center stand only TV's. What they could do is make wide metal outrigger leg stands which extend out two to three feet plus from the center mount, but have these new custom leg stands bolt up to the stock center location. By doing this they could make some very nice creative looking stands. Lastly, in other videos I noticed that RCA and Toshiba are back into the big TV game now. Did you have a look at the quality of these TV's at CES? Who knows, they may sneak up on everyone else like Hisense and TCL did.
I'll repeat what I've said about the Z95A on a previous video by you and/or FOMO....I am absolutely sold on the built in speakers' quality, and as someone anxious to upgrade my 5 year old TCL 6-series for a flagship first ever OLED, the Panasonic Z95 has moved solidly to the top. I have to think there are a lot more potential buyers like me who put heavy emphasis on the less-is-more philosophy or simplicity of setup and layout. Thrilled I won't have to shell out several hundred bucks more for a good soundbar. I'm no audiophile but I do want and appreciate above average sound. One thing that concerns me is whether or not the image out of box will be good enough to skip a pro calibration...I live in small town and having to hire someone from out of town to travel hours roundtrip to calibrate could be a sticking point, so very anxious to hear detailed reviews on the Z95B. Thank you Panasonic!
Please Panasonic! Bring back 3D! Simulated 3d for Gaming would be amazing! Make it passive or glasless, cutting the resolution in half is still 1080p and looks awesome
Hey Brian nice coverage! The important thing to test for Panasonic this year, is their processing and shadow detail and near black handling. The thermal cooling sounds good on paper, but their cooling system didn’t help them in the past two generations to get ahead of Lg and Sony in the shootouts. The Panasonic z95a in reality had dimmer highlights than the G4, and was also considerably more expensive. The hdtv shootouts showed this and also other tests. The durability and craftsmanship of Panasonic is probably best in class, their whole electronic components except the oled foil is made by themselves. A Panasonic tv will most likely have a longer lifespan than the Lg counterpart. That’s also a plus, even if their picture quality should be marginally worse than LG and Sony this year again. The thing that makes me think that their processing might not have advanced much, is that they use the same processor and pentonic chip as last year. And this hardware is limited. But I hope I am proven wrong. The new panel might also make up for processing weaknesses and solve some of the issues from the z95a . Will be exciting this year! A 77 z95b would be awesome… Or the successor of the A95L lol Keep it up Brian👍
Would like Panasonic to offer their 42" and 48" OLEDs to the USA market. In particular the 48" which would be perfect for anyone who wants a nice display in a small room setup.
The Z95B looks very interesting. I wonder about the soundbar as you said you don't a sound system, I wonder if the soundbar will be able to handle DTS sound. The TV looks slightly different from what I saw in other videos, I thought it had fabric round the bottom bit.
Panasonic has both dolby vision and hdr10+ which I would say is the best reason to buy if you need to uograde in terms of PQ. I hope the other 4 major brands will have these 2 hdr formats
What is the weight of the 65in Z95B? My biggest issue with Panasonic tvs is the weight as they are heavy and the fire tv remote. I hope they one day go back to having a tv without the sound bar and a higher quality back lit remote. Regardless, I still plan to buy a panasonic oled tv as I still have the GZ2000 which is still going strong.
Panasonic - back in business at last - from doe z95a to this at last. Wonder if the pricing will be full blown Sony or a bit better. It will be interesting how they stack against LG and Samsung
Please Panasonic! Bring back 120bfi! We need better motion clarity! 144 or 165fps/Hz is not enough. LG C1/G1 at 120fps OLED Motion Pro high looks like 312(3.2 ms of persistence). Panasonic had that feature in 2021 too. Bring it Back!
Fantastic content Brian Panasonic is amazing , hey Brian will Robert have the Awol Mico led the 81 inch will 10 grand and the 75 inch 8 thousand , would love to see those next to QD oled and woled .
Competition is great! Love how Panasonic panels do not seem to look a little washed and overbrightened like others sometimes do. Some tvs lift darks on things like light brown already very visible making it far too bright and white not clean sharp and vibrant. The whole shadow detail buzzwords thing is taken way too far sometimes.
Hi, Brian Do you know if hdmi 2.1b has been implemented on any of the 2025 tv lineup ? New nvidia 50 series has hdmi 2.1b. You can use longer cables connecting PC to Tv with hdmi 2.1b.
Well that sucks, I got a new wifi router and I was trying to set it up concurrent with my existing router and it was working but they accidentally sent me two of them and when I tried to run all three it crashed my network so missed the live stream 🙁
I would eventually maybe get a mini led or OLED but happy they are doing a basic led. Wonder if it's up there with Sony's basic LEDs. I have a sony x85k and it's a good tv to me for now. Entry level Basic LEDs can still be good for what they are since it's what the majority of people buy. Those Walmart TV's tho are....eh. I do wonder if Sony is going to make a successor to the x85k like they did with the x80k with the Bravia 3.
Nice but no 83’’ so not for me I’m looking for a bigger screen size my current and previous two tv’s have all been at 77’’ 77X 77G3 and my 77G4, I was so looking forward to the 83S95F😭
I wish Panasonic would make this in 83 inch…I’m extremely disappointed no QD oled in 83 and now no tandem OLED in 83. Guess I’ll have to hold off on upgrading my 83 inch C3 another year…😢
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Hi Brian! i appreciate that but surely if LG and Samsung made SOCs 5, 6 years ago, Sony or Panasonic or whomever they purchase from could have caught up. Also, is it hisense or rxl which have only 2 hdmi 2.1 and a separate eArc port. I just think, pc, console or two. One available hdmi 2.1 just isn't good enough anymore. Thanks for bringing the content though, TVs seen so far are more interesting than last year's line up for sure
I'm currently on 77 inches Sony A80J. I need a bigger size. I think if Hisense will have a 2025 UX at 98 inch RGB mini LED, that's the TV I will buy. I think OLED is done if they can't compete with RGB mini LED on price.
Alright. So it’s got sound that rivals Sony flagships, true to life processing among the best (Sony), great heat management to sustain colors and brightness, plus gaming features (lg/Samsung).. so why would someone get either of those brands over this? Does Sony have slightly superior upscaling? LG and Samsung slightly better gaming? Or go Samsung simply to get their “anti-glare” screen? The way this Panasonic is described it seems to be the perfect tv.
Not interested in incrementally better OLED (or other) displays unless they are much greater than 83". I have a 3 year old 77" Sony OLED. I won't replace it with anything smaller than 90+ inch. If that is not an OLED than I will go with an OLED alternatives. I would gladly buy a 95+ inch LED TV with an "A-" picture quality, over a 83 inch OLED TV with "A" picture quality.
Z95B on the top of my list to review!

For Sony and Panasonic why aren't they using a non hdmi 2.1 port for eArc? It's 2025
An additional HDMI 2.1 would require another SOC. Samsung and LG make their own.

Mediatek as the SoC supplier has been the source of this problem for years.
I want an 83" Z95B
Me too!
Only two hdmi 2.1 ports. When Mediatek will come out with their new chip that can handle 4 x HDMI 2.1, Samsung and LG will be on hdmi 2.2.

Yes Hisense is not playing around. If you want an 83" oled that can compete it's the LG G5
