it is the best combination
You shouldn't have to install the fonts manually. As far as I am aware when you install the dash you're given the option to install all the fonts needed, Simhub does it automatically.
@@UKMeridian thanks for the tip. Wonder if they’ve changed it recently as the instruction on their GitHub site did say to install the fonts separately 👍🏻🙏
I must get this, but I'm still waiting for all my gear to arrive. I would love to duplicate your dashboard! What exactly is that brace around the DDU that has the RPM lights and such on it? What did you use to mount it? and what DDU is that that fits so perfevtly in it? I love this setup!! Thank you!
@@CATiiibthe whole DDU unit is from SimDash. There should be a link in the description. 👍🏻
If you select all those font files, you can right-click and install them all at once.

@@thesimracingshaolinstudent Thanks. I am waiting for New CAMMUS C5. The good Christmas sale plus extra 5% discount edged out the Fanatec and Moza budget offerings. I really am a casual sim racer and the small foot print and motor design that is using the same technology as my Direct Drive LG Washing Machine was something I could never have imagined coming to a steering wheel.

tried the build in simhub dashes...but always missing something...then i found the lovely dash....and dont forget to tip the creator...he deserve it.

Great video, I just have a a couple of issues with my set up. One- in my simhub installation folder there is no JSON file to personalize the dash only something that says sample extensions. Two- I can’t get the DDU to show flag status (yellow, blue) etc in the ddu. Please help. If you can’t still great video!

Ehi great video!! can I ask you one thing, I installed the dashboard, but I don't see the car damage page. can you tell me if it needs to be activated and where?
That would be on another page of the dash. If this is on a monitor or an iPad etc then there’ll be left and right arrows so scrolling those should display it. If it’s on a DDU then map buttons in SimHub to show it too 👍🏻
How do I get the Lovely Pitwall? Is that a separate install or does it come with Lovely Dashboard?
Hey it is separate yes and was in Alpha when I recorded this video. If you join their Discord server you should be able to sign up to test it which gives you early access. 👍🏻

tried launching on my phone but i get stuck with the LR logo screen with the time and timer in the top right corner, what am i doing wrong
Have you launched a race or practise? Essentially you need to be on track for it to show anything on the dash

Absolutely! 👍🏻 I use an old iPad for SimHub. It just needs to be a browser on pretty much any device 🙏
Quick question for you I have just purchased a GRID DDU10 and when I go into device I don't have the option for controls only led controls ? ps thanks for the vid.
We’re there any instructions for installing specific device drivers for that DDU?
Also what version of SimHub are you using as there’s some updates for the GRID devices in 8.4.9 of SimHub.

Hi. Quick question. Do you know if does it work on consoles too?
I don’t have a console but yes it can work with consoles. You will need a PC/laptop still though to run the SimHub software and for running lovely dashboard, but essentially the game telemetry is broadcast on your home network. Providing the console and the PC can see each other then it should work. Once I used an Ethernet cable to connect my PS5 to the modem, I lost all use of my DDU.

No, it shows you way more information that you’ll get on the dash in the car. This has pages of information. Essentially everything you could possibly get from the game. But you can customise this to show you what’s important to you. Obviously you can’t customise what the car dash shows but with this you can 👍🏻
I only get the LD logo on my tablet when loading the dash from simhub all of the other dashboards semmto work fine any idea whats wrong
Have you started a race? The logo disappears when you drive.

Sounds pretty easy to install, but when i doubleclick on the downloaded file, SimHub does not open to import the dashboard... Instead the Windows Explorer opens and shows all the included files... So - how do I install the Dashboard and/or the Overlay?
Try to right click it and choose “open with” and then find the SimHub program and select it.

There should be a URL with an IP address of your SimRig on that same page. If that doesn't work then either the two devices aren't on the same network or there's a firewalling issue 👍

Hey hello, i dont know why the dashboard dont work for me, i launch the dash but dont see anything in screen or mobile. Help please.
So I take it SimHub is running on your PC? What happens when you scan in the QR code on a mobile device? It should open up a web page on the mobile device and it should show you a list of available dashboards. What do you see?
@@thesimracingshaolinstudent Yes is running, ant the mobile app works ok. maybe the lovelydash only works inside the game?? i test it and works fine inside the game, but not outside the game.
@@PabloGMR that’s correct. It will only initialise when data is being sent from the game to SimHub. 👍🏻

I go on FB once a blue moon... I open FB, get to the page and... where do I buy one? What are the specs? What are the support dimensions? The options? What's in the box? What are the Prices. What ever I click, I get a picture or another clip.
There is no way I putting my Credit card info on FB... LoL.
Hey, it is a little weird that there's no resellers or a shop of sorts. When I purchased mine about 2 years ago I messaged them and placed my order that way. I've reached out to them to ask how people buy their DDU's and when I hear back I'll let you know.👍 I would have hoped by now it would be simpler to buy these devices. 🙏

If SimHub supports BeamNG then it should do. You could try it out with a phone or tablet if you have one?

Hey, apologies only just seen this. You'll need SimHub running on a PC but it seems you can "point" console games to that PC. And then you could use a tablet or a phone to browse to the same IP that SimHub's running on to display a dash. Let me know if you try it. @@dreamz701 yeah, it's fine. Just get prescription lenses for the HMD you want to use.
Yes I used to have prescription lenses in my Valve Index. Very thin and just fit over the lenses in the headset. Got them from here and highly recommend them: vroptician.com/
I bought this when I was driving ACC as I could never get it looking great in VR. Until now anyway 👍🏻
