In continuation of last week’s demo, I wanted to share how I apply the Fantasy Flower Murrini to a pendant. There are several different ways to apply/embed the Murrini to your glass depending on the look you are going for.
After much trial and error, this simple method worked out perfectly. I hope it helps if you’re have been having any troubles with your own application!🤗
Choosing the right background design was a bit tricky… as I didn’t want it to take away from the flowers. So I decided on this simple linear background for a soft botanical effect. 😃💫

Hi Robin, a very nice bead indeed with those murrini! I very much like the linear background, it is perfect with the murrini! If you had chosen a green linear background ut would have looked like a cactus ! I have so many beads to try to make from your videos, plus this one ! 😅

Lovely Robin. Thanks for showing us the first one in real time, I've struggled with murrini placement (I've been very good at smearing them), but will give your method a go when the weather cools... only another couple of months to go.
Hello Jirup! 🤗🌹 glad you enjoyed this one! I was also having a bit of trouble at first with these…they were looking a bit blurry. So I did a bit of research to see how others placed their flower Murrini.
This method worked well for me! Before I was trying to flatten the clear glass as soon as I added it. This time using the heat to melt the glass down over the murrini first really helped to keep the design nice and clear! ✨🌹 So glad I can share with you all!! 🥰 I hope things cool down for you soon so you can get back on the torch and enjoy!! ….its about 17 degrees last night…my space heater failed me so I am flameworking with a blanket on.😂😂😂 Great to hear from you my friend!

@@scottwoodresearch Temps still sitting between 95f and 105f during the day. 17f would be record breaking cold here in the valley, it really doesn't get below 23f. I'd have to be on the Victorian High Plains in the middle of winter to experience 17f. Stay warm and stay safe. 🌞

As much crap as Devardi gets for their glass quality, I did find that their rod warmer was an amazing tool for preheating murrini and millies, with a flat piece of graphite in it to act like a small cookie sheet, that thing made a huge difference in my studio.

@@scottwoodresearch I love mine, don't underestimate how hot that thing is going to get though! Google J. R. Hooper to get a look at my glass art (miniature marbles) if you get bored one day. I mostly make marbles, but have been trying to get back into beads lately and your channel has been a godsend, thank you so much putting these tutorials up.
