It is courteous that if you are within the first few comments, to please list the 7 habits to save others time who are trying to watch numerous videos.
My tip: If you feel your kidneys are struggling; request labs. eGFR is an indication in itself but there are other labs that are also telling. make sure you do follow-up labs a respectable time apart whether it be 30, 60, or 90 days. Do not wait 6 months or even worse, a whole year!!
    1. Avoid vigorous exercise.
    2. Quit Smoking
    3. Avoid certain supplements (creatine)
    4. Reduce protein intake. Opt for lean protein options; chicken, fish, plant based protein (beans, lentils, tofu (easier on kidneys). Lower animal proteins.
    5. Increase fiber intake (apples, beans, whole grains, leafy greens). 30-35g fiber Daily
    6. Limit salt intake; significantly limit or eat no processed foods
    7. Drink more water; adequate hydration. 3.7L for men (125 ounces), 2.7 for women (91 ounces)
    You're welcome.

During the summer my husband and I kept a gallon water bottle with a spout in the fridge, I would put slices of lemon , lime and either cucumber slices or berries in it. This was a great way to drink water . It tasted nice and cool and had fruits in it giving a flavorful taste.

Thank you for sharing these herbal medicines. I always have stored lots of garlic, onion, and rice. I ate sometimes apple, cauliflower, cucumber, & blueberries. Fish almost every week. Water maybe 6 glasses of water everyday. These natural medicines we can find in our sorroundings, environment, supermarket. We don't need medicines. Just continue eating these foods that God gave us. May God bless you. God bless us all

You say leafy greens are good. I assume you mean Spinach, Kale etc by leafy greens. The doctors say no to leafy greens as they contain too much potassium. The kidneys fail to filter out all the potassium. This results in too much potassium level in the blood, and this could harm the functioning of the heart. I would like your comments on that. Thanks,

Well, maybe 90% true. The part about consuming 3.7 liters a day for men is a good 1 liter too much. If you consume 3.7 liters of water per day, it is so much that your body flushes out a hell of a lot more than it should be doing including stuff that you should be retaining. So… Hold-off on drinking that much water!
