CKD patients need more guidance on how to best follow a whole plant based diet. We need charts that list each food with its protein content per half a cup portion in order to figure out what foods and how much of it we can put on our plates at each meal in order not to go over the daily limit. We are told to restrict our protein intake to a certain daily amount based on body weight but I have not been able to find a standardized chart that tells me at a glance the protein content for each food so I can plan my meals accordingly. We shouldn’t have to be guessing every time we fix our plates. The same goes for phosphorus, potassium, sodium and fat content. This should be the most basic resource that a CKD patient should have available at the PCP and nephrologist’s office, at the National Kidney Foundation etc. If you know if such a chart exists please let your viewers know, I and most of us would certainly buy it immediately. Thank you.

Research Dr. SEBI diet. He was a know black herbalist that died in police custody. There is a cure to a lot of these dieases they have put on us. Not telling us the poisions an toxins in the food, soaps and so on. I am stage 4 an not once has my nephrolgisht mentioned this to me. You would think going to school for so long you SHOULD know at least about Alkaline fruits & veggies. Healthy protiens and ect. The meat, their putting unatural hormones & toxins in these things. They don't plan on helping us cure our bodies. God made are bodies perfect. Drs claim there is no cure for AIDS,CANCER, DIABETES, HERPES. Their targeting American people, especially the oppressed. Medical field & Pharmacutical companies are just big cash cows, at our lives & loved ones expenses. ❤🙏🏽#GODHASTHEFINALSAY

Hi...I am a CKD patient and as yet haven't found a chart either. I have however downloaded the Cronometer App in which you can enter and save the foods you eat and it gives a breakdown of micronutrients that you've had that day. Example I just entered I've had a cup of cooked Kale which is 3 grams of protein. I'm keeping track that way which gives an overview of what I'm putting on my plate each day. The free version is sufficient for that or can pay to upgrade to get more detailed info. I hope that helps ...wishing you well 💜Xx

If you visit with a kidney dietitian, we have all of those charts and more. National Kidney Foundation has a directory listing of kidney dietitians for each state that are available to provide guidance and help CKD patients. Insurance may also cover these visits.

Pretty good advice. I changed my diet to total vegan and ended up with high protium and hospitalized. Beans other than green beans were stopped. Then I added back oysters sardines, albacore tuna, calf liver and 93% lean 4 oz hamburger Pattie’s.
Result: HbA1c 5.4 with no meds for type 2 diabetes. And by using frozen blue berries, Fiji apples baked with Ceylon Cinnamon and fresh salad consisting of ice berg lettuce, red onion, red bell pepper, cucumber, white button mushrooms, red radish with olive oil and vinegar most days, but 2 times a week a cabbage soup consisting of cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, red onion, green beans, peas, white mushroom, red bell pepper in water with turmeric and thyme and fresh cracked black pepper I have a better eGFR. Went from 3 B to 3A. And went from 205 lbs to 130 lbs. walk outside not less than 2 miles but never more than 11 miles. Now that weight is off usually 3 miles a day. Food can be poison to medicine to your body!

Congrats!! This proves everyone is different. Some people are healthier on higher animal protein and some are healthier on WFPB. There is no one size fits all diet out there. People have to listen to their bodies and test results. Some people are more sensitive to oxalates and some more sensitive to animal protein.

That's a lot more to do w kidney stones . Yes,that is included in kidney disease. You just have to avoid those foods that are high in oxalate ,then !! Lol I am very prone to kidney stones ,I love tea & chocolates & nuts !! But, I drink water w squeezed organic lemon juice every morning !! That takes care of it ,too if you didn't know . Of course, nothing is perfect. But, you can prevent that issue that way !!
The most enemy to kidneys is phosphorus. That deteriorates kidneys !! Especially, animal sources. This is why plant based ,vegan diet are considered as the best diets for chronic kidney failures. Many nephrologists are recommending vegan diets ,including UCLA nephrologists.
      I am not vegan ( I was for 17 years ) ,I am vegetarian for almost 17 years .💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

I reversed kidney disease in my 12 year old schnauzer. Vet was shocked and told me my dog now has the blood panel of a puppy! Glory to God, my baby and I have much more time together!
    Edit: 8/24
As a dog rescuer, and an herbalist the dogs we rescue typically have health issues and i treat them with diet and herbs. I immediately feed my foundational diet of 20% raw meat with ground bones, 10% raw Green Tripe, 10% raw organic eggs, 60% steamed veggies, alpha Lipoic acid, salmon oil and vitamin d3/k2 and magnesium. CKD dogs get cruciferous veggies, especially bok choy because it is the most potent detoxifying veggie. * Cruciferous veggies are not good for a dog with Lupus or thyroid issues. Commercial dog food is NEVER fed to my rescued fur babies. I utilize herbs to meet their individual needs. As far as Roccos diet for CKD, I began with this same foundational raw diet, customized with herbs and suppliments. There is much more to it, but all CKD treatment is different. There is no one size fits all treatment for CKD. I work from individual bloodwork in order to suppliment what is missing and remove what is too high in the blood. Phosphorus is typically too high...when this is the case, I feed low phosphorus veggies such as bok choy, carrots, green beans, cabbage, arugula, astragulus. I add required customized supplements and elements, and 4 Tbl lemon juice per 10 cup batch. i add *Epikin to Roccos food. Epikin is a phosphorus binder.
This is Roccos diet. Because no two cases are the same...customizing herbs and supplements should be done by a professional. I highly recommend seeing a functional medicine vet for guidelines in individual treatments for your dog. What healed Rocco could in fact harm your dog. Again, see a functional med vet.
Hopefully, this edit does not get deleted like all the others, but probably will, because I promote a RAW MEAT diet for my dogs. This video promotes PLANT BASED diet.
    End of edit: 8/24

Hi! how did you do it??

    • @swamiesez9066
      @swamiesez9066 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@IgnacioRuiz-tb2nh Sorry. I can not help your dog.
Every dog. Every case is different. With kidney disease there is no one size fits all.
Rocco's diet is in direct response to HIS blood panel. His needs are specific to him. To best help your dog, you will need to base it off YOUR dog's blood panel. Kidney disease is a tough one as it affects all the organs. I strongly recommend working with a homeopathic veterinarian to come up with a specific plan for your dog.
Example: Rocco's diet saved him, however it could be very harmful to a dog whose blood panel is different than Roccos'. So you see, one size does not fit all.
I can share his basic diet. However, Rocco receives much more in herbs and nutrients specifically for him.
STOPPED ALL COMMERCIAL KIBBLE, it's a slow toxin paving the way to disease and early death
I bought a meat grinder to make homemade RAW food. I ground veggies first then chicken leg quarters with bone.
      ROCCO= 20 lbs.
      RATIO: 20% meat 80% Veggies.
      *RAW Blend= meat and veggies
      **NO ORGAN MEAT!!!!
AS Per one cup serving of RAW BLEND, ADD:
Raw beef Green tripe- 1 Tbl
Veggies list is specific for KIDNEY health-
(These veggies are harmful to dogs with Lupus) again...consult a homeopathic vet.
      Bok choy. #1
      All cruciferous veggies
      Green beans
      Arugula
      Carrots
      Medicinal additives to address organ health;
Activated charcoal- filters kidneys 1 tsp
      Vit D3/K2 with magnesium-4 drops (500 iu)
      Colostrum-. 1/8 tsp
      Alpha Lipoic Acid- sprinkles
      Moringa Oleifera 1 tsp
      Salmon oil- One pump squirter
      Ashwaganda 1 tsp
      Coconut oil- 1 tsp
      Fresh lemon juice- 1 tsp
      Parsley- 1 tsp
Pink salt- one shake (light sprinkle)
      1/2 cup filtered water.
      (Soupy consistency)
      ***
Rocco had low potassium, so at noon, away from meals, I give him one thin slice of honey Dew melon, because it is high in potassium.
I give fruit 2 hours away from any meat to prevent digestive woes. Fruit and meat do not sit well in the stomach together due to their differing digestion rates.
SNACK- one Brazil nut (selenium) daily
***No jerky, or any commercial treats or chews!! No!!!...not a single product sold commercially. Poor ingredients, inert ingredients, high heat processing and preservatives were enough for me to run far away from commercial dog food and treats.
This is all my opinion, I AM NOT A DOCTOR. I have shared what I did for my dog.

Number one... STOP FEEDING DOGS WITH COMMERCIAL KIBBLE!!!
Kibble, regardless of brand has a plethera of poor ingredients, toxic inert ingredients and preservatives that is killing your dog by slow death. Feed raw diet!!! With kidney disease each case is different. I used very specific herbs to respond to Roccos blood panel. Your dogs needs are different, so pointless to share precisely what i did. Get your blood panel, research everything so you can read it. Then give what is missing.
I feed Rocco Raw, bone in chicken quarters, ground. Yes i bought a commercial food grinder.
Besides Roccos specific proprietary nutrients, i add-
      Alpha Lipoic acid
      Activated Charcoal

Lets also talk about supplementation depending on what diet you adopt due to deficiencies that can occur making kidneys worse...example ...magnesium is imortant for kidneys...vitamin D also...vitamin D and magnesium should always be taken together...proper calcium...your B's... A and K a proper levels....cholesterol which goes down another rabbit hole...and you still have to make sure potassium levels are healthy not too low....they put emphasis on thebscary things but not enough or any on the good things....i feel like as great as grapefruit is for kidneys alot of us on amlodipine..felodipine ..etc...will have bad interactions...i want to talk with my doctor about getting off felodipine and maybe figure something else out so i can have my grape fruit....
Also organic grass fed, pasture raised, wildcaught meats...halal as possible....alkaline.....he touched on some...but we need OUR docs tontalk to us more about these things...please look into magnesium...iodoine...vitamin D... at least for starters

I was going to criticize this video by declaring you cannot reverse kidney disease with diet. But while the title is definitely geared towards more views, he did lay out quite clearly that diet cannot reverse kidney disease. I converted to a vegan diet and know the data suggests many benefits for CKD and health in general, but there are certainly some downsides to it as well.

I hear from non medical videos talk about totally reversing without trying to sell you anything. Yet any medical one always says treating, never healing. It’s how you’re taught in medical school… it’s all treatments, never healing. I watched a bit of this video and turned it off as it’s one if those medical ones that is about treatment and improvement, but never about healing.

My gp once told me this is what happens in medical school, its hammered home from day 1 that only pharmaceuticals are any good.
      I don't believe that's so.
So I guess that at the end of the day our health is our responsibility and how we choose to manage a comorbidity is up to us.
There seems to be a lit of alternatives to lowering creatinine etc.

Eat small servings (3 to 4 ounces) of wild salmon, sardines, herring, and mackerel. Small fish with lots of Omega-3. Avoid large fish with high levels of mercury .
Also, avoid added sodium . Lemon juice flavors fish nicely.
Remember that tomatoes and celery have sodium naturally. You can purchase low or no added sodium canned tomato paste, sauce, diced, crushed, etc. Make your own sauces for your fish.
