Some very interesting questions there James and some great answers. Plenty of excellent albums you showed and definitely right place right time to buy some of those. Fear Factory was another band I used to listen to loads back in the day as well. Hope the people who have seen Hendrix live realise how lucky they were, I doubt we'll ever see anyone like him again. Hilarious question at the end and a very good answer to that! Thanks for answering my question and great to see you last night, hope you enjoyed the show, it got pretty lively towards the end where I was.

I find i look for music like this without any luck and then in one week seem to stumble across 2 or 3 i'm
looking for, then nothing for months.
All the more sweeter when i do come across them.

I have RATT : Detonator on CD . Demanufactire was my introduction to Fear Factory too. And then Obsolete. I enjoyed the Q&A .
Glad you enjoyed the video fella. Ratt's Detonator is an underrated album and Fear Factory's Demanufacture blew me away when I first heard it. Cheers

Really enjoyed this, dude. Some great albums on show, and I'm definitely envious that you made it to that MK Bowl Metallica show, as well as Donington 95! I also wish I could say my first album was anything anywhere near as cool as Cowboys From Hell! 😂

Another good video as always Mr B! Love the Everton question!! After Unto The Locust came out I haven't really listened to MH on a regular basis. Loved The Blackening, that was a great album, but not getting any of the hype of any of their albums since.

I was at both of those gigs! From memory, Metallica stitched Megadeth right up with the sound, you're right that it was bloody hot. As for Donington '95, it's the best line-up that they ever had. When Machine Head came on, it got pretty wild. Oh, and you're 100% right about Warrior Soul, they should have been huge.
Yeah I think Megadeth definitely didn't have the best sound that day, was an amazing gig. And Donnington 95 was amazing. Cheers as always fella

Pressed send by accident !!! Then I heard Led Zep 4 was never quite the same again , your Dads taste in music is quality. Not really into all this Ultra Heavy stuff but I do like Metallica and Mastodon , went to that Milton Keynes gig you mentioned. Sean Harris was born not three miles from me in the Sunny West Midlands, but he is erm a bit different !!!!. Take care Matey.

I hope Everton don't go down but they've been on a downward spiral for so long something drastic might have to happen before they can rebound. I agree about keeping Lampard. Don't think there's a Nile album I don't like and the debut from Machine Head is all I need too.

Black sabbath and Judas Priest should be great rankings too.
Very hard to rank priest 70’s work. A lot of those albums sound similar. Black sabbath will be interesting too if you have anything different on top 8, usually ozzy albums 1-6 and dio 9-10.

Great video, I myself as a music fan have only just started buying albums and I started off with the first 3 metal church albums. All your videos inspire me to continue to buy physical albums. So so glad I found your channel

Good stuff as always James. Love the Q &A. Opeth Blackwater Park is excellent even though I'm not a massive prog fan. Try Queenryche The Verdict from 2019 if you want a bit more prog. It's their only album I have and it's excellent.
You have to get Operation Mindcrime mate , it is a true stone cold classic and Empire a'int far behind it. All the best.

Sorry if I'm a bit late to this. My reason for this comment is you going to Donny in 95. I also was there. Form me and my friends that day Slayer wasn't up to par and machine head kissed there ass. Metallica could of been better. Now when Metallica was on did you see a fire on the left hand side and if so that's where I was and it was my idea. Because it got cold. So me and my friends found some trees and some cardboard box's. But we got told to put it out or get out.
My biggest regret that day, was seeing Skid Row with Bach but not really being that familiar with them at the time. I enjoyed Slayer as it was my first time seeing them. I don't really remember a fire in the crowd when Metallica was playing. Cheers for getting in touch fella 👍
Bad co’s first 3 albums are great. Not as good after that. Probably the reason why they get overlooked a bit. Led zeppelin and Jimi hendrix experience are untouchable and brilliant, two of my favourite artists.

Unto the Locust is an excellent album, The Blackening is the Machine Head album that's overrated, don't understand the fuss.
Underrated album, nobody ever mentions it - Reason by Anacrusis. Thrash but with a difference, absolute classic.
I'll have to check that album out as I've never heard of it. Cheers Paul
