Love it when people have such an eclectic taste like yourself sir. I am much like that, could jump from a black metal album to a some jazz followed by some alt rock. Love your videos. That turn it on comp is great, all one needs from the post Peter Gabriel era. Enjoyed your Deicide ranking video, and totally agree with your top 5. Keep the vids coming, always looking forward to watching them.

Good call on Atheist. Better late than never. I had exactly the same thought about Elements and the comparison with Spheres when it came out. I really like it and reminds me of happy times at uni. Thanks for the reminder about Vanity/Nemesis - I haven't listened to that for decades! Loved the segue from Phil Collins to Aborted BTW :)

Love the Clawfinger album - I bought it when it first came out and have another eight of their albums including Deafer Dumber Blinder. Saw them at the Astoria in the late 90s and they were great live
I'll need to take a deeper dive into Clawfinger's discography. I never saw a gig at The Astoria, gutted I never went to that venue. Cheers for watching fella 👍

Hello there! Many cool albums but Clawfinger that was a surprise! It was much buzz about that album here in Norway when it was released. One of the menbers was Norwegian. But they all lived in Sweden I think. the intro to "The Truth" is quite epic.
I'd not thought about Clawfinger in years. The Truth is still a banger now. Thanks for watching

'Nevermind' on cassette is a great pick-up. Massive album that everyone knows.
The new Accept album is solid, definitely not reinventing the wheel. In my opinion 'Blood of the Nations' still takes the top spot of the modern Accept era.
Didn't know you like Clawfinger, great music from them. Love the first three albums. I discovered them through Rammstein, Killing Joke and Ministry which if you're looking for some oldschool/fantastic industrial metal, give them a listen sometime.

Love that Nirvana, it takes me back to the summer of 91 every time I listen to it. Atheist is a killer band. Love listening to them. Elements is a killer album. I have never listened to that Morbid Angel, I need to look that one up. Great update James!

Everything you said about that ‘Clawfinger’ album is spot on mate! I bought it when it first came out & I still like it to this day! Good to see you pick up some ‘Atheist’ James… their first 2 albums are superb imo! Good to see you sir!🤘🏻
Despite some silly lyrics, the Clawfinger album is still an enjoyable listen. It took me far too long, but I'm glad I got some Athiest in my ears. Cheers as always mate
I'm a huge Nirvana fan and saw them back at -92. That cassette is a nice score! I have original lp and few reissues. I picked up Kerry King's new album because I love Mark Osegueda and Death Angel. Was better than I expected. I love new High On Fire: Cometh The Storm. I'm from Finland and we had great trash band here called Stone. Their first two albums are classics to me. I picked up No Anesthesia. Their second album. Other albums I have bought lately are No Trend,: Dozen Dead Roses, Subhumans (UK): Time Flies... Aeroplanes Crash & Rats, Judas Priest: Invincible Shield, Hellripper: Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags, Spread Eagle, Big Black: Hammer Party and Saxon: Hell, Fire And Damnation

Excellent pickups! Got a few Yes albums looking to explore more, looking to get that Genesis singles album. On the fence about the Six Feet Under album though. And that first Atheist album is one of my favorite Death Metal albums ever! Great video!!

Picked up an OG of the Face Value album by Phil Collins at a record fair recently for 10 euro...a cool chilled listen.

Vanity Nemesis is a great album. Wings of Solotude is my favorite track. I have never been a fan of Into the Pandemonium.

Glen Benton said in a new recent interview that the cover artwork is actually his face incorporated into it. The artwork on the new Aborted album is meant to pay tribute to MORTICIAN's Hacked Up For Barbecue.
I didn't know that about the Aborted artwork. Wouldn't have guessed the Deicide artwork was meant to be Glen. Cheers fella
Out of the bands that you have spoke about in this video. Two that stand out to me are Atheist with piece of time and claw finger with deaf dumb and blind. Piece of time I love that album. But I wasn't over keen on there second album and after that I just forgot about them. Deaf dumb and blind also love that album. Again I wasn't keen at all with there second, but really liked there third album.
Glad I got round to checking out Athiest at last, excellent band. Yeah Deaf, Dumb Blind is a great album, despite some terrible lyrics. Cheers for watching
Cool pickups James! Atheist are a band I've wanted to try out for a while, I know they're similar to Pestilence. I'll have to give their first couple a try. Nice to see the new Deicide and Six Feet Under, your review of the Deicide was great. A lot of people, even haters though the Six Feet Under was better than the last one. I've never been convinced to check them out much. Cool Morbid Angel live album and Celtic Frost at the end, nice one! 😊🤘

The artwork is up for debate for sure, I totally get both sides. It would be nice for real artists with talent to get the commission, as all art forms are sacred. But I guess it doesn't matter to the listener too much 😊🤘🏻
Nice update. That Nirvana cassette looks like it's in great comdition. Excellent Clawfinger album. Was a big fan back in the day. Fantastic Atheist stuff there. They were definitely ahead of their time. Love "Turn It On Again"... fantastic song. Ooh... 'Vanity/Nemesis'. I really like that album.

Atheist were so ahead of their time like cynic the metal world wasn't ready for their brand of technical/prog death metal back then havn't really listened to any six feet under since probably death rituals but that album artwork looks like vince locke has done it cool collection update as always sir!
I'm really enjoying Athiest, glad I finally got round to checking them out. Need to check out Cynic next. New Six Feet Under is definitely their best in a while. Cheers mate as always 👍
There are a couple of nice coloured vinyl versions of the Atheist albums too. Try Cynic as well if you haven't which are along the same lines.
I've seen those Athiest records, but they are very pricey, I got all 3 cd's for the price of one of the records. I'm definitely gonna check out Cynic now. Cheers Paul
Awesome update James! I'm glad you got the new ones from Accept, Aborted, Deicide, and Six Feet Under. Celtic Frost's Vanity/Nemesis & Morbid Angel's Entangled in Chaos are classic albums. Nice to see you get into Atheist now. I should check them out as well. Lastly, Clawfinger are a band that I totally forgotten about until now. Not a band I'm into but I'm glad you got Deaf Dumb Blind from them.

Nice pickup with the Nirvana cassette. Aborted, Athiest (most underrated DM band) Deicide I can’t get past the AI artwork it’s a deicide record though. Celtic Frost! Nice pickup and it’s not bad at all. Six Feet….. lol (imho) Morbid Angel ya can’t go wrong. Cheers ole boy

Elements was a step too far with all the experimental stuff.
Had a listen to the Abored but ralll the different vocalists wereannoying. Dunno if I'll buy it..
TheSix Feet Under done nothing for me this time either.
Deicide though, I really enjoyed, deffo picking it up.
Vanity/Nemesis is killer, i picked up the reissue cheap as fuck last year, great record.
Etangled in Chaos is a weapon!

That celtic frost album is awesome. I haven't listened to every album from them but I heard cold lake is not a great album from the internet lol. I didn't like their recent one that much

Clawfinger , I had that album too remember watching the video to 'The Truth' on Noisy Mothers
I saw then supporting Machine Head in Wolverhampton on their 'More things change' tour back in 96 I think.

Humanoid wasn't spectacular, but it's a good album. Love the cover art though, especially comparing it to these AI covers. But it's still all about the music of course.
Agreed on Humanoid. It's never gonna blow you away, but it's still an enjoyable listen. Artwork is cool to amd yes better than using AI. Cheers for watching fella

That Deicide album art work is very evil. how come 3 of the band members have normal hair for musicians and one band member looks like he belongs in Disturbed?
