Scars of The Crucifix was their first album for Earache, not Roadrunner. Another slip of the tongue 😂
I remember buying Stench on CD years ago, and being blown away by it. And then I also got the following two albums, but after that I stopped listening to Deicide for some reason. Until now, with the new album Banished, which has renewed my interest immensely. So thanks for the list!

Great ranking, mate. Over the past year I've gotten more into Deicide and I've been listening to the entire discography. Here is my ranking today. The top 3 are tough. I could change my mind on those at any time. Also, loving Banished by Sin. Just what I was looking for from Deicide at this late stage of their career. Great stuff.

Hopefuly one day I'll get into the death metal genre. I'll stick with my thrash, heavy and industrial metal for now 🎶. Throughout the video I did seem to recognize some of these artworks 🙂🤘

Hi James!!! As you might know i'm not a death metal fan, just listen to a few bands, but still need to digest the style, sound, vocals...... so this is good way to learn more about Deicide and their catalogue, btw thought they are an scandinavian band, lol. cheers and be well

Brilliant ranking, mate! I really enjoyed this video. Your enthusiasm was palpable with the top 3! Incidentally, they are also my top 3. 'Serpemts...' and 'Scars...' are also underrated albums, and I love that blistering guitar solo at the end of 'The Pentecostal' (or is it the one before it?)!! Cheers!

Great ranking I really like the new album alot. The first 4 albums will always be my favorites. Legion was the first album I heard back in 1993 and couldn't believe how evil it sounded. Lol

That one from the mid 2000s with Santolla on is good le you say. I need to revisit Once Upon its been years i cant remember it at all.

Probably, even if I were a catholic, I could not restrain myself from listening to this band - one of the true jewels in the classic death metal scene 😉😉

I had only ever heard their first two albums back in the day, and would agree the Legion album is totally brutal, i will have to check out the rest of their albums,

Great Deicide ranking James! I'm still pretty new to this band, I've only heard bits and pieces from their career. Really cool to see you put Stentch of redemption fairly high, absolutely love Homage for Satan! Must pick up that album. Once upon the cross might be my favourite from what I've heard so far, I really wanna pick up those boxsets of their first 6 albums if I can! Cheers man 😊🤘🤘
Stench of Redemption has well and truly earned its place so high up this list, an outstanding record. The first 2 Deicide records are pretty much untouchable Josh, they make 90% of other Death Metal albums sound very tame in comparison. Cheers as always mate 👍

Great ranking, very similar to mine's. Deicide weaker albums are the proof that sometimes critics write the reviews too fast, because there's many solid stuff there and they speak pure trash of them.
There's good songs on both Insinerathymn and In Torment In Hell, those albums definitely don't deserve their bad reputations. Cheers for watching fella
Nice ranking mate my top 3 is the same as yours just in reverse once upon the Cross is still my fave a little story about your bottom two albums the band wrote those so quick in order to get out their contact with roadrunner records
Yeah, I had seen that over the years regarding the bottom 2. They sound like they were just cobbled together. Certainly not worthy of being called terrible albums like some people do though. Cheers Robert, as always fella

I'm lucky enough to have 2 copies of Legion on vinyl. I don't have complete discographies of Gorguts and Immolation, but I'll get round to doing them one day. Cheers fella 👍

In Torment is alone at the bottom for me, weak album imo, of course a lot to do with the production. Do like Insineratehymn. Have not listened much to the new one, but will pick it up. My top 5 would be pretty similar, maybe the debut on top, it was my introduction to them so...... Great video James. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's definitely one of the weaker one's mate. It's got its moments but sounds phoned in at the same time in places. Cheers as always Roger

I've actually grown to like the art on the new one, a great record.
I've kinda forgotten about To Hell With God! Really liked it when it came out so gotta revisit it.
Serpents is killer, shit production, but the songs are so good.
Stench Of Redemption is pounding! Santolla was great for Deicide, good in Obituary too.
Once Upon The Crossfucking kills, evil cas fuck!
The debut is astounding, but Legion beats the fuck outta it.

Steve Asheim is a weapon. Check out his side project- Order Of Ennead, great stuff.
Insineratehymn and In Torment In Hell certainty don't deserve their bad reputations mate. You definitely need to revisit To Hell With God. So many killer albums in this discography. Both the Order of Ennead albums are great. Cheers Dave my friend

Real shame about Serpents of the light, Steve's bass drums are practically non existent... Like you sed because of the album before it, production let's ot down massively!
It is a shame about Steve's kick drums but the songs are still very strong. Shame it doesn't have the same production qualities of Once Upon The Cross. Cheers for watching fella 👍
