I used to write for DRUM! Magazine. The blacker the metal, the nicer the drummer. Pretty consistently.
I'm jealous. That must have been a great job. Why did you stop? And who have you interviewed ?
@@jordansnell6849 Don’t ask too many questions man; he doesn’t want to type out every band he ever covered.
this video is what everyone needed in quarantine to chill
Chuck Schuldiner and Ricky Wilson should have had a lot more years.
I think most people would be surprised that death metal bands and their scary fans are usually a lot more down to earth and chill then someone like pop music bands and their fans.
Even though death metal isn’t my cup of tea, it is so amazing seeing them love animals to the core.
This is what this world needs more of. Thank you Loudwire
Makes sense. Your art is an extremely cathartic form of expression. If you can channel all of your rage, pain and angst into your stage performance, you've got to feel pretty light in the shoes afterwards. Every show is like a therapy session.
“He farts” I love metal heads 🖤
Last guy Don Tardy, what a legend. We need more kind people like that in this world
Damned straight!
I went into full "awww" mode on that clip
When you think death metal musicians will find you and kill you in your sleep:
I just donated $1000 to my local hockey club
Nah that's black metal.
@@jiyanmehta7250 Any metal with a word before it...
@@zylavormusic2616 that's very cool that you donated 1000 to it.
@@Reaperguy67 I didn't actually xD
That’s what I used to think about black metal
Metal is an amazing form of realease of negative emotions. Helps in having positive ones left within you most of the time
Huge thumbs up to John Tardy. I'm so happy people like him exists!
The world lost someone super special in Chuck .. RIP to one of the greats
Most people : Metal is evil Corpsegrinder : I just bought Warcraft action figure at Target! It's awesome!
WOW SHOWDOWN: CORPSEGRINDER VS HENRY CAVIL, CANNIBAL CORPSE VS SUPERMAN!
That's why metal musicians are simply the best.
I admire Chuck very much a good man with a good heart
Every single death metal musician I've met has been really fucking cool... And unexpectedly in touch with their emotions.
chuck was always so wholesome
To me it seems that most metal acts are super chill off stage simply because they take out the angst and aggression on stage. It's their form of therapy.
Cats are the winner here!!
Metal music is like a punching bag, you listen to it, and you vent all your anger out through the music
Society: "Death Metal people are all evil assholes who want to kill everyone"
Death Metal Vocalists: *Ice Skating*, "I gotta play with this dog, he farts!!", *wearing shirt with cats*
I tell you, no more respectful and kind people then the musicians of rock and metal. There are some assholes, but one bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch. Met a lot of chill dudes from big metal bands, who are just chill af and super friendly.
Black Metal: am I a joke to you
I mean that kinda goes for every group. There are good and real people, and there are assholes.
Nobody ever says that... everyone knows metal is mainstream and harmless as fuck... you are not special or dangerous for liking metal, metal is for nerds like you
@@woodenhoe The overwhelming majority of black metaler's are no different than those featured in this video (speaking as someone who is friends with a lot of BM musicians).
@@JanderVK tbh a lot of them are extremely friendly but, sadly, most of em are not covered by media
BDM is one of the coolest and most down to earth group of dudes ever. Loved hanging out with them.
This is exactly this kind of wholesome stuff I needed to see after the shitty last 2 weeks I had trying to get a prescription refilled
My guy Nergal teaching people how to *PROPERLY* cut a tomato! 😂
Loved this video Loudwire! It’s so awesome to see the softer and more human sides of these Death Metal musicians! It shows that even though their music is brutal, they’re still human, and that’s what counts!
Rock on guys! 🤘😈🤘
We must protect corpsegrinder at all cost he is just too damn good
