2017 Porsche Macan Rear Shock Install

Fixing a rattle in the back of my wife's Macan turns into a shock replacement because of some weird Porsche engineering.

Thank you, sir. I have the same problem on my 2018 GTS. I will replace the rear shocks along with the brake pads. Happy new year!

Thanks for the video, my Macan has the same question. Were the shocks damaged or just the rubber covers?

@@luchalibre1986 The shocks where visibly fine. I did change them out because they had ~70 k miles and I was in there already.

Thanks, did you get the torque for the top of strut nut? I have AS on my GTS so will be doing the Damptronics.

I did find it but cant remember what it was. Your GTS will have different suspension anyway, Good luck.
