Chris with the negative camber, You went fully negative and it didn't look that bad yet how come you see some cars with wheels about to fall off. is there a point of too much negative camber?

Completely true. I’m 14 and looking at cars to get daily and channels like Chrisfix, Mighty Car Mods, Donut Media and a bunch more provide entertainment and an easy and entertaining way to learn more about cars.
I'm 14 years old, turning 15 in 3 months and I'm starting to get into cars, because when I get my first truck/car at 16, I want to do the mechanical work myself so I can actually know my vehicle, and I'm so excited. ChrisFix, if you're reading this, you're a big inspiration to me and I love your videos man.

Just out of curiosity, do you use air tools, battery powered, or AC powered? A possible video idea would be what power tools to buy first to maximize "bang for the buck" and also what types are best and or most cost effective.

First you have to loosen deez nuts, which are located just under the drivers seat.
There are some Pettite size. I strongly recomend them.

Having absolutely no automotive knowledge whatsoever, but researching custom parts for my own car including coil over suspension...this is BY FAR the absolute best explanation and demonstration I have seen EVER. I used to like MCM, but they look too much staged.
I tried when I saw them at SEMA. I called them into my booth when they had their Subarute in the car parade. They just waved and drove by. ChrisFix and Carthrottle had a booth together asking cars to come in and tell us about their car. It would have been too perfect. I think they were just busy or overwhelmed and didnt realize or something. Maybe in the future tho! I'm trying!

Hey I love your videos! Just a little tip and I'm not sure it applies to all manufacturer but you should loosen the control arm bolts so that the bushing from the lower control arms doesn't get prematurely torn. When the pinch bolt is still tight while the control arm goes down, you're twisting the bushing to a point where it gets torn. But all in all, lobe your video.

I’ve been working on cars all my life. I don’t need everything to be broken down. However I really appreciate him breaking literally everything down into detail. This is so helpful for someone looking into getting into cars and someone who might not have grown up doing it. I also like how safety was always priority in this video. 15:19 I mean the gap between the coilover and the wheel is fixed, because the coilover is mounted to the knuckle... negative or positive camber won't affect that gap
I was making sure the design of the coilover wouldn't interfere with the wheels I have on, sometimes that can happen depending on the set up being run!
@@chrisfix That definitely makes sense... it's just that you said "because the top of our tire is tucked in a little bit that way [...]" (referring to the camber angle), so I hope you see where I'm coming from. I hope I don't come across as too nitpicky, I was just a little confused... So I'll take the chance to tell you that I definitely enjoyed the video (even though I'll never install coilovers in any car XD)

Most of the time they don't come with any or are really small, so I would definitely transfer it over!

Hey Chris is your preload set up correctly? Because I cringed at 14:29 when you went and touched the spring with your hand and the spring moved.... Just curious and trying to help
Thanks and great question, the preload on these is done when you drop the car down onto the ground. With the spring completely lowered like I have it, there is about 1in of movement the spring can move (since the wheels are completely extended downwards off the ground which never happens when you drive (or so you hope that never happens lol). Once the car is lowered, the springs engage the top seat and that is when they are loaded.
Amazing, simply amazing. All videos helped me immensely when i wanted to work on my truck to save money and have fun while doing so.
