Sweet video! I've had a full turbo kit laying around for my Honda D16Y8 for months, already redid the headgasket and ARP head studs, this just gave me the motivation i needed to get the turbo in!

Jimmy wrap the braided hose with electrical tape then cut through the tape with an angle grinder
Jimmy jimmy jimmy... the machined ring goes between the wastegate and turbo manifold. Thats your seal for the exhaust pressure. Normal gasket goes between wastegate and screamer pipe. The way that you connected it now will blow out that gasket under boost

Nice general rundown. I used pretty much the same type of kit on my B16 gen Spec V project. Although for that car I did have to fabricate downpipe and a bunch of stuff because it wasn't a popular application with many ready to go parts :( But using Uprev for tuning software, a Walbro 255 and 565cc injectors, made 330whp on 10lbs and has been going for over 10k miles no problems. Not sure if this applies to older Nissan engines, but one thing I did notice is that the oil tee/new feed line is NPT, while on my gen 2 QR25, the thread in the block is BSPT which is barely different, so I had to get a special tee because the supplied one would have seeped a little

Been debating an sr swap on my coupe. But i really like ka's, mine has almost 230k & it runs solid left me stranded once out of 2 years it's been my daily. Might just rebuild the ka & turbo it now after watching this. Thanks jimmy!! I NEED MORE PINEAPPLE AIR FRESHNERS BTW

im not really a fan of turbo. mostly because of all the hassle but this kit is really really nice. cant have it more straightforward then this. might even get one
Defour supercharging is way easier but i prefer turbo
Still useful knowledge, a rubric sort of for turboing most cars. I myself am trying to make gains on my 3G Eclipse. Between the Mivec swap and just simply turboing it. I want to do both since when I got it. The owner threw in a spare GT motor. Leaning towards turbo first then maybe swap after. I know it'll mean more work but the way I see it. I'll have more options to just simply swap between the two or if I come across another 3G shell. Keep up the fine work, enthusiasts. 👍

Search for the mod parts specifically for your car model & year buy em. Then go to your local performance shop and ask if they could install them. That's my plan 🤷🏽♂️.
