For the Anubis one the pal is just straight up 1 to 1 Anubis from Egyptian myth. The face is similar because Lucario has Anubis's face, and so anything based on Anubis will look like Lucario.

also color wise its close to confagigus than the egypt designs
@chrisgaming8846 the face of Anubis and irl Anubis are basically the same outside of the nose and a bit of the lower jaw being skintanned. And what bit of cofagrigus as if ya mean the gold and blue cuff around the neck that is just Egypt things.
@@bendragneel5337having those specific colors does not explain "egypt things".main color of egypt colors is mainly yellow for the gold and for anubis black.blue and red exist after that .besides.they do use darker and lighter blue but its sus they use lighter blue like lucario and confagrigus when anubis designs usually have darker ones
@chrisgaming8846 Anubis's eyes are blue in at least one image i saw, and I have seen that the shade can differ from picture to picture. Also, isn't a light and vibrant shade of blue seen as wealthier and used for Anubis's image? The one thing I will say is that the inner ear fluff is weirdly blue.
if you have to say oh this is just 3 pokemon smashed together you're clinging at straws, there are over a billion combinations you can match 3 pokemon in.

Literally a majority of the pals are original designs, but pokemon fans will make serious stretches to say they are copies.

Exactly if you have to mash five Pokemon together to make a pal maybe they are more inspired by Pokemon then a direct copy.

At the moment, evolution is not a thing in Palworld. It's possible that future updates will add some sort of evolution function to the game, but as it is now it does not exist.
As for the variants with alternate typings, those are mainly a case of using Breeding to produce them, though the variants do occasionally show up in the overworld, usually as "Boss" Pals.

Yeah, I can confirm that non-boss typed pals can spawn in the overworld, had a Cryst hedgehog (forgot the actual name) spawn after I was returning from a dungeon
@@animowany111 Jolthog Cryst. In a multiplayer server I'm in, my base happens to be located near the Lunaris boss, and pretty regularly I will see a pack of 4 wild Direhowls attacking a wild Jolthog Cryst.
You can sometimes also find the variants locked up in Poacher camps as well.
Like to see them start to warm up to the ideas of PALs near the end of the video, instead of just comparing them to pokemon the whole time.
You can tell as the developers started making more PALs, they got more comfortable in making their own things

I love the 'well, they combined Pokemon X and Pokemon Y and Pokemon Z .. Dude, it is a squirrel with leaves for ears and green. With your reasoning, any animated animal of any type would be a derivative of a Pokeman. Styles and Themes cannot be copyrighted. You cannot copyright a 'grass type' squirrel or an electric mouse or an Eqyptian Cat. Also, if you DRAW a model and then convert it to a 3D mesh, the software is going to create certain curves.
Elemental Type monsters are from the European Rennaissance period. There are several Egyptian related Pals. These things existed millennia before computers or Nintendo.
Do a google search for animated squirrels, now imagine you want to change the color to green (to convey elemental type grass) and to use leaves for ears. Is there a green pokemon with leaves for ears (The answer is No)? Even if there is .. and even if you patented it .. you can't own the concept of a squirrel or grass elementals of mythology. You could own a direct copy of your image, you can't own taking a squirrel, creating a cartoon animation, and assigning it as a grass elemental.
How can 4 Pals 'look exactly' like Evie? Can you tell the difference between Cremis and Vixy? Ok then, neither of them are Evie.

One more thing pisses me off is that people claim stupid shit belongs to pokemon that it doesnt. THe wolf is a WOLF!!! WOLVES EXIST and pokemon did not come up with the design infact they stole the likeness from actual wolves and Monster Rancher did the wolf monster before pokemon. And saying PEngullete who is lit just a penguin is somehow stealing from Piplup who also is just a penguin is just stupid. not to mention POkemon stole a ton of designs from other games like DRagon Quest and nobody is bringing up that fact shows how brain rotted pokemon fans are now a days

What's funny is that South Park also had a penguin mon (for the Chinpokomon episode, their parody of Pokemon) that looks very similar to Piplup...except that the Chinpokomon episode came out about 7 years earlier than the release of Diamond and Pearl. So are we going to say that South Park owns the rights to penguin mons with that particular body shape because they came up with it before Pokemon? Of course not, that would be ridiculous.
I LOVE the elemental variants. If it was a situation where they say "oh we have 111 pals" and some were different colors, that would be crap, but the fact that these are just added on top of that is just extra credit and provides cool options in the game.
I have in no way completed the paldeck but at a rough count. 111 pals with roughly 20 variants without their own number and confirmed more pals coming. Frankly I'm excited.

There's no evolution in Palworld, you can breed different species together though. Also you can catch humans in the pal sphere too, it's a lower chance but it's possible. And once in the ball you can use them like a Pal. It's technically "illegal" in the game but it doesn't stop you from doing it either (the game often incentivizes you to do awful things) and there are black marketeers who will buy them. Basically palworld leans hard into all the dark implications that Pokemon handwaves away. For example you can fuse multiple pals together to make a single stronger pal and you can do also this with captured people too. People don't joke that palworld is a war crime simulator for nothing.

Pals don't evolve. At all. But they level up and you can power them up as well.
About Depresso... until you see the animations for it you shouldn't judge it. Plus is partner skill gives it a caffeine boost which... you have to see it. heh...

Anubis looks more like the god Anubis (look up images) than Lucario does, they even got the blue and gold color scheme right.
Faleris is badass for something you're completely missing... Level 3 kindling and Level 3 transport. If you have that you use it in your base and smile while doing so. :)

the funniest part of palworld is that you can craft a butchers knife and take any pals that you caught and slaughter them for meat I kid you not you can take the rarest pal and cut it up into kebabs

24:31 it's heavily implied it's the same world but some sort of post Apocalypse with Aliens and a false sun(the sun grows from a tiny dot and covers the moon in daytime, and shrinks back at night). The icon for the item named "ancient civilization parts" that is needed for most weapon and armor recipes, and a lot of buildings is literally a spark plug.

Hey also second comment: i would also like to say that I am in that same boat with you guys. I hate collecting dozens of things, I want to take my one buddy I caught first and train until we're the best together. It was really nice when the pokemon training minigames got introduced so you could correct the problem of "oh this Charmander will literally never be as good as this perfectly bred charmander." Even if it takes some work, I want to be able to take a *companion* and make it big with them.

Fr, Digtoise reminded me more of Subterra Baliton (one of the Bakugan Traps) than anything Pokemon's done. And even then, Digtoise is a turtle while Baliton is an ankylosaurus.

Haven't seen a comment stating this yet, but in case there isn't: Palworld doesn't have evolutions. It is unfortunate, but it's still fun. (EDIT) For example the Swee that you can get only stays as a Swee the whole game.

This game would make you guys howl with laughter. They ripped so many things from different games it’s insane. Also, the “pals” can be assigned to work at your base, where they LITERALLY are slaves 😂

They as much slaves as any peons in an rts, you make them beds, food, hot tubs to relax, or they won't work. Certainly you have to be nice to them if you want them to actually work. It feels the trailers blew it out of proportion and now everyone screams "slaves" because of that.They live better than the peons on WC3 haha.

@@Aldenfenris By mid to late game, you can drug them out of their minds and force them to work without any beds/hot tubs - so it gets much closer to that point as you go on.
I tried to take a little guy to the end (and trust me, you can) but its hard to get attached to them when a major part of the game is building a big [defenetly paid worker] factory. As far as move goes, the pal type is really just to show what it is weak to sunce you can teach any pal any move.
