I went to my silver dealer and purchased all of his available Junk Silver. Two bags of silver - full of Silver Washington Quarters, Barber Half Dollars, and all types of other Silver Quarters and Silver Dimes! Knowing that he rarely picks through them, I decided to buy them all in hopes of maybe adding a few upgrades to my album, or possibly scoring a better date or two. I did not expect to find so many coins (including a rare key date barber dime, and some better date coins that I could add to my coin collection and coin albums from this purchase... In this video, I will search through all the old Silver coins from the bags. I will be looking for key dates, semi key dates, upgrades, and of course and varieties within the years I hunt. Hopefully you all enjoy the video! As always - Happy Hunting and Thanks for Watching AND keep Stacking that silver my friends!!! I have some old BU silver I inherited from my great grandparents and grandparents including some Morgan Silver Dollars. Many of them are common dates, but I did get a key date Morgan dollar (except it's not in too great condition)
I went to my LCS and didn't see anything I was looking to add to my collection. I didn't want to walk out with nothing so I bought a $12 barber quarter from a box of them. It turns out the coin I chose is a 1912 s which only had 708,000 minted
Always fun to hunt through junk silver and find diamonds in the rough. Congrats on that key date, and also your up-graders! Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool silver purchase. I love the silver coins. I haven't bought a bag yet but plan too someday. My LCS is pretty fair to me. It's always good to build a relationship with them as well as your bank. I'm pretty rural so no collection dumps but they will order whatever I want to hunt and I always pick up so they don't have excess coins. I promise to dump at another branch with a coin counter. I continue to love your enthusiasm with constitution silver and get excited with you on what you find!
At My LCS, the best Junk Silver Finds for me would have to be 1932 S Washington Quarter: $6.50 1893 S Barber Half Dollar: $15.00 1916 D Walking Liberty Half Dollar: $12.00
@@Luna-zq8bs118 23x face. For 4 quarters which is $1 face value, because the coins are 90% silver they’re more valuable than face. For that $1 of quarters if a dealer is charging 23x face you would pay $23
Dang Rob! You live in a silver oasis. The major city in my region is a silver desert. No bags like either one for sale at any price ever. And if they had them, the coin shops would sell them for at least 25 x FV.
Loving your Monday junk silver posts Rob. As I've said before - RFT sets the standard in coin roll hunting on TH-cam (and junk silver hunts too!) Chuck in NE Kansas
RobFinds Treasure I stopped the video at 4:56 into your video because when you mentioned you bought a bag of dimes and quarters do you buy circulated or uncirculated and did you buy this at your LCS, online or both?
I bought them from one of my local silver dealers - like an LCS, since he deals in coins, but more like a WE BUY GOLD type place. He doesn't always care for circulated numismatic values as much as buying and selling at multiples of face value so sometimes I get some goodies. I also pick throught the junk silver bins at LCS shops and the World Coins trying to find silver.
Question ❓ can you NICA date silver I didn't think so but you know alot more than I do. I'm asking the specialist. Love watching you and learning from the best
very much enjoy your junk pick up the most but the rest of your crh are great u spend quite a bit withe ur dealer so he doesnt go through them to much or not at all. would u ever merchendise your pondarosa of your silver stack for us in a vid sort of a sneak peak of alot of your silver????just askin my friend...

I have some old BU silver I inherited from my great grandparents and grandparents including some Morgan Silver Dollars. Many of them are common dates, but I did get a key date Morgan dollar (except it's not in too great condition)
6:28 I actually found that same date and mint Barber dime in circulation during work. It has similar details to that.
Always like seeing the old silver.
Constitutional junk ooooo wish I had a coin dealer like that. Always great watching your hunt's.
Always so fun to watch your video s

Even a single coin can be a rarer one!

At my lcs all junk is 23x face…21x face sounds like a good deal. Fun bud as always. It was fun to see you at the Grove show!
Hello, I'm really new to coin collecting. When you say 23x face value, does that mean you pay 23x the price wrote on the bag? Thank you for any help.

@@omegateamsports5291 ok, thank you. I thought that was what it meant, but wasn't sure.
I've been thinking about getting some bulk barbers. It would be fun to try to fill albums buying in bulk like this
Love those old coins Rob! I wish we had nicer looking Quarters and Halves now!! Take care

Thanks for the video!
Great pickups and additions to your collection.
Love me some junk silver !!!
Nice find!

I've always dreamed of that dime. 😂
Nice Haul Rob👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Boooooooooom!!!
Nice rare Barber dime
Yessss! It’s been so long since the last one
Wow that's some impressive scores
Rob I most certainly DID NOT like this video...because I couldn't put the dime in MY collection. 😫😭 Great video as always! Love silver!
Good hunt
Enjoyed ur vid...
Way to go Rob. 👍
Barbers!!!!!!
So cool Rob, love these videos!!
Enjoy these!!!
Great video Rob! Love those SLQS!

awesome junk silver hunt Rob and congrats on finding that key date dime brother 👍
"O" 😱😱😱😱 YESSSSS!
Cool channel. Do you think as many of the "junk" silver coins were melted in 79-80 like some say?
I do unfortunately…. Makes some of the dates even tougher.
How are prices compared to melt value? I would assume they have more in numismatic value than melt.
Cool finds
Hello, very new to coin collecting. When you say 21x face, does that mean you pay 21x price on bag? Thank you for any help.
Indeed
Yes
You can't lose buying "junk" silver!
very much enjoy your junk pick up the most but the rest of your crh are great u spend quite a bit withe ur dealer so he doesnt go through them to much or not at all. would u ever merchendise your pondarosa of your silver stack for us in a vid sort of a sneak peak of alot of your silver????just askin my friend...
Love your vidz rob
Great hunt
Great find. Too bad a bunch had been cleaned but since you are buying for the silver not a big deal
Hey rob if you find a quarter which says 1776.1976 that’s called a bicentennial quarter there Worth 350 I think
Unlike your dealer Rob, mine isn't stupid enough to not pick out the more valuable stuff for themselves.
Current silver prices are 15x face. Is 23x face what you have to pay down there? That seems extreme
First. I love me some junk silver
I love the junk silver videos
hey rob how’s it going
What?!?! 96 o for $2.30! My god where do u get these bags????!!!!
Rob, I don't understand why you would pay $5.25 apiece for silver GW's with a melt value of $3.86... can you explain??
That's around the going rate for junk silver about 20-21x currently; I wouldn't have bought the GWs for myself tbh
I agree, 21 x FV is too much for me, but everyone has a different perspective.
wondering what you paid per bag
Never mind lmao
Where could I get coins at that price and for that many
Buy old silver! as the Lone Ranger didn’t quite say.
Silver
I wish I could buy some junk silver like this. There is no one around where I live that sales it like this
Is it just me or does anyone else take some of their silver and drop them on each other to hear the beautiful sound they make
I just went through a box of pennies and found a 1969 over 1269
Early
and First - BOOM! 💥
Very early indeed
Them ads get me every time
@@lordeagle100 true
Just wondering where most people buy their junk silver?? It seems I've been getting ripped off.
1996 Barber O I think you mean 1896

Why does it matter if a coin is cleaned?
hope to get on a live stream with u and your bride...
Why is it that cleaning is bad, you collect coins not grime.
The coin in essence doesnt get altered.
Basically, the idea is that cleaning the coin alters the surface. Collectors prefer coins that haven’t been cleaned. An original surface is preferred no matter the condition.
That's constitutional silver. Junk silver is scrap. The wore out coins that don't have collector value. The stuff I melt.
