    6:42 There is a clip for the cable. And you're looking right at it. Thread the cable through the velcro strap.

    • @cliffbird5016
      @cliffbird5016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yep nice simple solution. just undo the velcro strap at the front pull it out of the front loop. then undo the velcro at the back put the cable in there then do it up again.
      If u try it from the back u have to take off the back padding to get the velcro out of the slot and its better and faster than threading the cable all the way through.

    Got this a few weeks ago, as my first proper VR headset, and I love it! I haven't noticed any of the tracking issues other people have had. Only issue so far was just software related, with Minecraft VR giving trouble starting up, but some searching on Google led to a workaround for that. The low price and easy set up alone made this worth it, not to mention it performs great! Definitely ideal for my current situation, where I mainly game in my bedroom and would keep the PC and headset in there, but sometimes relocate to the living room for more open space to enjoy games that take advantage of that. With laptops getting to the point they can support VR, the Rift S opens a whole new world of opportunity for VR outside of the home.

    I see all this positive PR for the Quest and Rift S, where the points made by the reviewers sometimes doesn't line up with reality at all. You only compared to first gen VR, instead of comparing to other 1.5-gen VR, but you kept it real. Thanks for not trying to claim things that were nigh impossible thanks to the specs.

    Yeah until you are holding a rifle in Pavlov and your font hand is jumping around because the camera can't see it. This is the biggest draw back. I own a VR Arcade and had a customer complain about this. He tried out our rifts and loved it, said he was going to buy one, and bought the rift S he came in a month later and said he wanted to try out ours again, because he had tracking issues and wanted to test it out. Said other than resolution everything else is much better on the original rift. He could tell they are higher frequency panels. He said "is the refresh rate higher on the old one?" I thought they where the same and told him that, but low and behold it's 10hz difference. I can't even tell that usually unless its side by side. Props to that guy.
