The Lizardmen roster is one of the largest and most colourful in the game with a huge selection of units in all shapes and sizes. Their most iconic units are of course their monsters which are essentially giant dinosaurs making them one of the coolest-looking armies in the game. They also have a massive selection of infantry, fliers, casters, and more so can really build for a lot of playstyles.

My reason for loving these guys is simply that 3 of the LLs have mounts that reference the Dino bots from transformers

@@donpablitojuarez4640 kroq gar, mazdamundi, and tik taq to all have mounts named after the Dino bots.
Kroq gar has grymloq instead of grimlock.
Mazdamundi has zlaaq instead of slag (the old name for slug)
And tik tak to has zwoop instead of swoop

Gor-rok is my favorite Lord in the game. He really capitalizes on the "best offence is a good defense" idea because he and his army are so tanky and have good enough damage to outlast virtually anything. Get a few levels in him and he becomes unbreakable and has perfect vigor and his shield (once you do the quest battle for it) gives him expert charge defense so he literally never stops for anything.
I love the Carnosaur getting dragged in the mud by the Hell Pit Abomination during its showcase. Poor guy.
Their early game is nuts. Get you a few points in the red line and a 20 stack of basic saurus (or skinks) and you will steamroll
I've never liked or played Lizardmen, but last night I said fk it let's see what's wip with Kroq'gar he looks pretty badass. I think I might be a Lizardmen player now.....

Playing as the Ghosts of Pahuax I managed to take the entirety of the south pole, confederated every single Lizardmen faction that I kept friendly relations with eventually holding the entirety of Lustria and eventually cut a good chunk out of Grand Cathay, all the while maintaining trade relations with part of the empire, the northern and western cathayans, the dwarfs, border Princes and the Tomb Lords.
I’m playing as teeny weeny and I have no idea how you’re able to confederate the other LLs without just rolling them myself. Gor-Rok and Oxyotl are steamrolling their respective areas so they aren’t gonna confederate with me any time soon
I got sick of the pressure to Tele around the map to fight randos - who will become stronger if I didnt.

I thought I was losing my goddamn mind when I first saw the naked chameleon skinks, I was sure it was just a texture bug because I had mods installed. Thank you for showing me I can now continue modding the shit out of the game to add tonnes of lizardmen shit.

The Lizardman, my favorite, they lack a dedicated range infantry, the skink with javelins are regular skink cohorts with a very temporary range.
The biggest issue I have with hte lizardman is their half baked Geomantic web, I had games where I never worried about it and I am getting by just fine.
So a half bake mechanic, and I think some lords have been altered, but depending on who you are playing as, you may not end up confederating a lizardman LL but killing them off. And good luck confederating them without mods.
Ripperdactyles, despite being anti infantry, units I were underwhelmed because I tried them to go one on one with basic melee infantry but I realized these birds excel at units that aren't melee focus, specifically archers and artillary, but they are great against preoccupied units.
Fore warning with the dread Saurian, it can easily do harm to your own troops due to its large size so be weary.

For the army comps - what do you do for all the LLs that aren't casters and don't have Kroak attached? Give 'em a Skink Priest (which Lore?), or have two Lords in the army by giving them a Fire Slann Lord (I imagine this would get EXPENSIVE)?
Skink Priest of Heavens. Beasts is pretty meh, but Comets and Lighting makes priests crazy good. Not to mention all their mounts

@L-Space Denizen No problem. Also an Oracle is also a good choice with their spells and mount, but it's a T4 building compared to the priest T3.
Not gonna lie I wanna play these guys now just because of the name skink priest lol that's amazing
I'm a bit late to the party, but I wonder if this video would be structured better if you start with overall strategy first, and THEN go over what the units do as it becomes relevant in explaining the strategy. That way it's not a big info-dump before your brain can figure out how to efficiently index that information based on relevance.

Err, nice unit descriptions, but your army compositions are a mess. The roster is too complicated and doesn’t focus on the best units available, particularly in the late game. And you’re missing chameleon skinks, which should act as a skirmish line as soon as possible in literally any lizardman army.
Yeah the chameleon skinks are great, they shouldn't be understimated
