@@SGUDistantHope Sorry to be so long replying. Sadly, I don't have "time travel shenanigans" as an excuse. :( In this particular case, I enjoyed the interplay between Hunter, Davis, and Galloway. We got to see Galloway fairly nonplussed at being the subject of future Academy instruction, Davis unruffled by a captain from 150 years in the future, and Hunter going at least a little bit rogue in bending the Temporal Prime Directive. All that was done with only three performers (five counting the voice actors), an interesting story, great CGI, and great post-production. You guys absolutely nail the feel of classic Trek, and it's much appreciated.
That caught my attention too. It might be a bit more believable if the ship and class were named after an earlier Foley. Maybe that Captain Foley’s ancestor.

I have always wanted to see a Battleship/Dreadnaught with the center nacelle mounted on the secondary hull just like that. I feel it's a more "cleaner" look than on top of the primary hull. Tyvm for this design, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Very well done! I like the design of the Foley better than that of the constitution class. Nacelles much closer to the hull = far less vulnerability of the pylons. Also no slim & vulnerable neck between the primary & secondary hulls. And the front-side shuttle bay is pretty cool too :). Well done to all responsible. USS Foley is an awesome looking Dreadnought.
I would want to show up for negotiations in a ship like that.
Great job creating her Commander Cockings and his crew.
Now ya got me eager to see what comes next.
Thank you!! Well, the film we recently released called "Destiny Calls" does go into it and i can confirm we will see this planet again! What did you enjoy about the film in particular? We would love to know!

That Andorian sounds very familiar.
Well done my’ol mates 🇺🇸 😄👍👍 I enjoyed this wonderful video…indeed! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊😉
That was pretty cool for under 10 minutes. I wasn't expecting a lot but got a lot more than I was expecting. The USS Foley had their own version of O'Brien. That transporter operator was on top of his game. Not much more to say as the comment section has some great comments already!
I have always wanted to see a Battleship/Dreadnaught with the center nacelle mounted on the secondary hull just like that. I feel it's a more "cleaner" look than on top of the primary hull. Tyvm for this design, it's absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you! That was Stuarts custom design variant of a Dreadnaught! All his own spin! What did you enjoy about the film in particular? We would love to know!

@@SGUDistantHope Just the fact you decided to use a battleship / dreadnought as opposed to a heavy cruiser. It's nice they get their due.

@@SGUDistantHope You’re probably hearing this already, I’m sure, but I enjoyed Father and Son Cockings in another Trek Short together. Instantly likable.
The visuals and music I noticed, both excellent as always.
Great tailoring on the uniforms as well. You take the time, and it shows.

Awesome fan film truly love it. I thought it was pretty cool how the missile had a voice roll...
Great job everyone! Next I need to see how Capt Foley not only got his own ship named after him but designed it as well. 😮

The captain is Foley and the SHIP is Foley. That is some bold script writing
That was Stuarts custom ship design from years ago and his own canon logic as to why all that is the way it is.
He is a 10 year You Tube veteran who wanted to see it all represented properly so, Capt Foley of the Foley :)
The future starship is an absolutely fantastic design. I don't it's origin or designer, but great job!

Excellent! One small critique: if the signal was strong enough for communications, then it would be strong enough for teleportation.
Thanks! What makes you say that? A coms signal is radically lower power than a transporter beam. We can do phone calls today via satellites but cant do a HD video call with the same signal, we need a separate and much higher speed internet connection to make that sort of thing work. I think the ideas behind this is on the cross wire in WW1. Where the ship in the past locked onto an object, and the ship in the future also locked onto an object. And both of them beamed something up at the same time as the result…Time-Travel Shenanigans fantastic…
That was fun. :)

The og version is better looking
Fun Indeed
Staring : David Tannend ( aka The Doctor ) as the Transporterchief
i like it!
Very well done! I like the design of the Foley better than that of the constitution class. Nacelles much closer to the hull = far less vulnerability of the pylons. Also no slim & vulnerable neck between the primary & secondary hulls. And the front-side shuttle bay is pretty cool too :). And all of this without making it stupidly ugly like in the kelvin timeline aka JJ Abrams.....
We shall never speak of this ever again (Temporal Prime Directive).
Ace , more please

You actually named the ship after the Captain.
It was Stuart Foleys custom design for the ship, so he asked that be his custom ship for his being part of theses shorts.
He designed the ship in maybe, 2017.
The Enterprise had a similar incident. They had a "Boimler" and "Mariner."
Yes indeed! Great episode! What did you enjoy about our film in particular? We would love to know!

Well, I just sat through all your vignettes and enjoyed them. My only tiny little complaint is the multiple times you call the insignias "deltas." That is a fan thing, folks. You won't find a singe TOS or Next Gen show that called them "deltas." They were just insignias. But, that is just a tiny little point. Fun stuff and glad I found your TH-cam channel.

Another excellent film! Can’t wait until the next part. One thing. Maybe I missed something. Captain Foley of the Foley Class USS Foley? That’s a lot of Foleys. There must be a reason. So what’s the explanation?
Arrogance
Thank you! Well, these are all anthology pieces, we swap characters, eras and parts of their lives. @@SGUDistantHope that first "ahh..." as Captain Hunter sees where he is. It's an "Awe man, time travel, I hope I don't screw anything up" in one gesture.
Also, when told which class he's on it could have been followed up by something like: "a rare bird"
It's all been great thus far and I'm looking forward to many more. That and I'll be helping with the 2024 fundraiser when it drops!
Any idea on when ship names that were sponsored will show?
@@MarkLLawrence Thanks! On all fronts!
ha, we have SO many sponsored ships in so many films finished VFX, the films just arent out yet lol! From my perspective ive put them in wherever i could ha.
I can say there is a shuttle named Lawrence as a little "bonus" for you good sir coming up soon! :D
I loved this, but the music sounds more suited for Gilligan's island than startrek.
Great to see a Ship Class that is close too an older Class being the Dreadnought Class (TOS) and the Music is soo Cartoony and very much Classic Star Trek.😅
2270...yeah Kirk's not done traveling to the past yet.
Galloway has eyebrows to rival Peter Capaldi!
