  • In this video, I take you through an entire day of eating for myself as I'm pretty far into the offseason, still pushing food and packing on as much tissue as possible. Follow along to see everything I eat from the weight amounts of each food and all of the macros for the six meals.
    Thanks for watching!

    Cream of rice hack… pour 2 cups of regular rice into a blender. Blend up until it’s the consistency of grits. Voila, cream of rice for 1/5 of the cost

    • @codybush5059
      @codybush5059 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better choice is actually to have a coffee grinder and use that. Blender is very inconsistent and could result in still having some whole pieces

      @@codybush5059 I’ve used a blender for 6 years making it this way and never had an issue. Using a coffee grinder works too, but I use 3 cups of dry rice per day so using the blender allows me to prep more at a time

    Really enjoyed this video mate, thanks so much for posting it. My only question is why you don't add in any red meat? You seem to get the majority of your protein from chicken breast and a lot of fat from nut and nut butters which I feel like could be substituted for certain cuts of red meat which would add in some more micronutrients. Is there any reason you seem to be avoiding red meat entirely?

    • @nick72799
      @nick72799 ปีที่แล้ว

      imo the best way
      1. make cream of rice by itself first in microwave (use bigger container than necessary if possible)
      2. half way through, i would take it out of microwave and add protein, mix, and put back in
      3. comes out pretty thick and good in my experience

      great question. I don't eat a lot of beef or fatty meats, so I do add in fats because of these to get an adequate intake for all around health. But more so it allows me to manage the food volume. The meals are more calorie dense and I am not having to eat a huge plate of rice every meal.

    Hello, so you are taking in 1.4 grams or protein per pound of bodyweight, do you really need so much? Especially since you are bulking with a lot of calories and a lot of carbs, carbs are protein sparring, or maybe you just enjoy eating a lot of protein? So do you push food so high so that when you cut you're not going super low? Also when you do so does your body adjust quickly. Or do you keep gaining fat All the way through. Or let's say after a month of constancy is that your maintenance calories? Or is it just you have to eat big to get big? I ask because I am trying to up my calories a lot without gaining a lot of fat. But I would like to do it quickly if possible. Or should I just up it by 100 calories every two weeks?

    • @DarkoFitCoach
      @DarkoFitCoach ปีที่แล้ว

      Up calories in 300cals steps and let body adjust and watch bodyfat. Dont get fat

    • @johnjewett7970
      @johnjewett7970  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just increase food at the amount needed to keep up with diet adaption and keep the scaling moving up. Some or more or less adaptive to caloric increase and does not change the amount of food they may need to prep on as they will adapt back down the same. After 2
      Weeks of weight maintenance it’s time to push food up. Don’t put on unnecessary fat but you need to accept some. I recommend a rate of 0.25-0.5 weight increase per week. Stay on the low end the more advance you get.
