    You should do the gut analysis that CBum did because of his autoimmune disorder. He found out what foods he should stay away from and what foods were ideal for his gut. Everybody’s body reacts differently to different foods. Find out what foods digest easiest for you, plan the diet accordingly, and go from there.

    These body builders complain about having distended stomachs, but neglect micronutrients in fruits, and veges. I've noticed slamming the veges (whether it be salads, or onions and peppers with a chunk of cucumber) with some meals has been fantastic for my gut.

    • @afifsamirnasreddine3768
      @afifsamirnasreddine3768 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marijancorluka4500Many. Each vegetable has its own nutritional profile. That said, the prebiotic benefits are huge. You can get micronutrients from other food groups, but without veggies you risk eventual gut dysbiosis. I personally just aim for a balanced diet of all food groups and try to get in a variety of colors (orange, blue, red, yellow). Those typically correlate with polyphenols and all the other good stuff.
      Cheers mate!

    • @marijancorluka4500

      @@afifsamirnasreddine3768 But vegetables have fiber, making you unable to digest even that tiny and pathetic amount of nutrients that they have, not to mention chemicals, toxins, anti nutrients and defense mechanisms found in plants. Goitrogens, oxalates, phytic acid, etc... that gut flora getting destroyed and thyroids getting obliterated.

    Btw if you have lower potassium intake which most guys have eating rice and meat. Take some potassium citrate. We need around 4-5000mg a day which is hard to get if you don't eat a lot of fruits, legumes etc.. Same for calcium. Who don't eat dairy it's hard to get around 1000mg of calcium. So taking calcium also in form of citrate is a good idea. Before bad some magnesium malate around 300mg and you are good..

    About those whey shakes. Personally I do about 1 to 2 a day and 4 to 5 solid meals. But an interesting conversation that Craig Titus said to us in Federal prison b4 the murder beef. He LITERALLY said food was way way more anabolic then whey shakes. He said he told everyone that came to visit him at that MET-RX booth that he always took when in fact he said he NEVER did. Especially when getting ready for a show. And I think it's true. Most top 10 Olympia pros do all food. If they r sponsored by a supplement company they will of course tell u they drink it when in fact..they don't.

    im pretty much in the same phase as you are. after a few year of straight force feeding my stomach was getting very weird and mid sction starting to look worse. this year i jumped from 7 to 5 meals, also trying to make most of my protein sources from real food, but one thing I feel made a big diference for me is eating whey+cor+banana+nut butter PRE workout and just straight food post. even if i train 1:30-2hrs after the cor+whey meal, feels much better than solid protein pre. its been awesome to leg press and not fart on the eccentric lol, and course not walking bloated in the gym which i feel takes away from mobility.
    great stuff Hunter, looking forward to see you on stage this year!

    I would think to get massive and ripped would be an absolute rush (along with a tremendous amount of work). I'm sure it has its downsides but you wouldn't be doing it if you didn't think it was cool right? How do you deal with the idea that it's not forever? Or do you not think about that? I would imagine that for a lot of guys it's a hard pill to swallow when they have to let the size go for health reasons, etc. I imagine that as cool as it feels to be huge it is equally as much of a letdown to not be huge. I would also that being a pro bodybuilder that a huge part of your identity is the size, strength, and "holy shit" factor. Do a lot of bodybuilders struggle when that has to come to an end? Maybe if you play your cards right it doesn't all have to come to an end but I just can't see somebody being 5' 9" 240 lbs of solid muscle for decades on end - maybe you can.
