Since the Bimmer wasn't a contender on the Roll Race, I would have liked to see the Audi and Genesis go head-to-head.

literally, the races could be so much more interesting if he just matched the cars correctly, but his content is very much quantity>quality so I don't think he wants to spend any more time than he needs to. it's far from the worst it could be, but it could be much better.

@blu_is500 yes he does. Hes been using the same drag strip races for years and used to do 3 way races ALL THE TIME until he figured he can get more minutes in on each video doing it this method, which is stupid af. Just to get youtube ads

I was the Audi driver and For those people who are complaining about the Race for G70 and 330i…. He did use the launch control. But the only catch with genesis is that it doesn’t launch hard enough like the other two do. It has good midrange torque. And reason for that is the genesis’ in house designed transmission which is slow compared to ZF 8 speed and 7 speed DCT. I know this because I used own the G70 before this Audi. But At the End all these three cars are great for daily use. :)
I have a 2024 GLI so of course I will root for the Audi! I am surprised though because usually BMW spanks any car in their class as they downplay their numbers. Was happy to see the A4 beat the BMW!
@@backtoshallabal6662everyone thinks that way And I will say that BMW only wins with their straight sixes against the Audi. In the 2.0T segment there is No BMW that can defeat the Audi. Audi has the best 2.0 motor.
@@darshilpatel6929 I agree man. Honestly, BMW's 6 cylinders are more peppier than Audi's, at that point I would take Audi down, and have BMW race Porsche instead to make it more of a fair race.
@@backtoshallabal6662 In my opinion any car that crosses the 300hp mark isn’t considered “Slow” by any means. So at that point you just buy the car that wins the performance per dollar formula in your notebook. It’s all about driving experience with performance cars not about being the fastest in the segment.

It's either these guys don't know how to brake boost and launch or it's probably because they couldn't do it because it wasn't their cars.

This is weird. Multiple roll races. And it's the 1 drag race that determines the winner? There should at least be the best of 3 because launches aren't always perfect, whereas roll races are just down to the transmission and engine power.

@jpizel1070 no one is desputing that. But there are likely to be more mishaps in a standing start than a roll race. As proven by the BMW in the first drag race against the Audi. So why did the BMW get a second chance but not the Genesis? Who knows? The Genesis might have performed better as did the BMW.

Ummmm, it lost by a bus lengths. lol 😂 also BMW has way better tuning potential and track worthy suspension. Even if the g70 is slightly faster from a roll, it is way slower from a real drag race, doesn’t have the suspension not transmission tuning as the BMW and is ultimately a Hyundai that will depreciate like last years iPhone. Lol

The Hyundai didn’t complain about a bad launch otherwise it would have happened again. He admitted didn’t launch the BMW correctly and fixed the results. The Genesis needed a second chance because it was done right the first time.

Should be about a car diff. If you allow it to build boost like the BMW with a brake fuse mod it'll gap the BMW.

Yes exactly, he redid the BMW vs Audi due to turbo lag, but did not give the Genesis the same benefit...these vids are often suspect but entertaining as they show what results average drivers would get from these cars

Got to go with the inline 6 B58 if you're buying a bimmer these days or you're missing out on a legendary motor!
There are already 500hp b48 engines out there that have been tuned up. It is a highly under appreciated engine. The b58 can hit 900hp without touching the bottom end and the b48 shares a lot of the same parts. Don’t sleep on the b48, it can be made down right fast and still be reliable.
My 400whp 330i says otherwise .

So he loses the drag against the Audi and just "HAS" to redo it, but the Genesis having a bad launch and not brake boosting was fine with just one run? Also his "perfect launches" are just him jump starting as you can see his tires/car moving slowly ahead @ 12:13- 12:14

Great video sam, the audi a4 is very underrated. People only think about buying the c63 or the 330i but forget how good the a4 is in safety, quality, reability and faster than both of them
I do have questions on the Audi reliability.
I have seen sooo many having issues and falling apart too early.
However the AWD system is king 👑
The first race with the 330i and a4 was fair and to be expected. On paper the a4 is faster than all and traps better speed. In reality, turbos have lag for the first few seconds which is why 5-60 is more accurate readings of speed. No one launches on the street

So even though the G80 is the faster car, I'm gonna race the Audi because it's my channel. This is why I don't pay much attention to this channel. You got a better launch on the drag, could possibly have much better tires, we don't know. But it's a fact the G80 is the faster car of the 3 of them, no matter how much you want it to be the BMW
It’s actually not tho.. you want it to be the faster car because you’ve been swept into the fake, wannabe lux brand vortex, Hyundai has on Americans, but in reality Audi and BMW will always be faster because they’re REAL cars with heritage and revolutionary technology. It’s no surprise that the superior cars would win against a knockoff brand

What's the point of driving in sportsmode and then not using shifters ? U lose precious time using kickdown. Please learn shift correctly and use those shifters, cause that's the way u race a car in sport mode.

2 roll races Genesys vs BMW, but only 1 drag race??? Stacked results
when you guys race the audi's, for the drag race do this: turn traction control off, use the auto shift and place in 1st gear and leave it, launch and don't touch the shifter. your shifts will be super fast and crisp way better than just trying to be cool and hitting the paddles
And make sure you're in dynamic mode or individual move with settings to max.
Don't forget to brake boost or it won't work!

You had a slight rolling start in the 330i in the last drag race vs the Audi, that's in part why you had such a better start, I doubt it was just the LC working better.
I'm so glad Genesis replaced the 2.0T with the 2.5T. It's so much better! The G70 needed another drag race too. It clearly didn't get off to a good start.
Audi has mastered the 2.0TFSI for many years🙌💪
They sure did, same with their DCT. Wish they would master their trash water pumps, I'm about to be on my 3rd one.

@@iw.m I'm thinking of doing the job myself now since its out of warranty. I've seen prices of $1,200 and up for the job. Water pump is around $300.
@@_Mario_PL_ Wow it's expensive labour you got there, sure it's better you learn DIY, I don't think it's that hard. For me I changed it in a local garage here in middle east cost around 110$ for the job.

The G70 driver has got issues driving or let alone drag racing a car. It totally seemed the quickest car here and didn't even launch properly. And didn't even redo that race against the BMW. Weird.

g70 with the new 2.5T is very impressive but the fastest of the bunch is A4 (I had a 2017 A4 and a 2019 330i, and the A4 feels noticeably faster)

I drove the 430i. It's not bad and the consumption was very good. But after two yours I bought the 440i. I think this 4-cylinder engine is good but not underrated as the B58.

I don't know about drag racing on wet surfaces, but I guess since all three are all-wheel drive it's a fair comparison.

G20 330 owner and F80 m3 owner here first off the g20 330 has same internals and transmission as the m340 my 330 is a 500hp 600tq stock motor daily.. very slept on car

You do realize the g70 is around 400 pounds heavier than k5 gt while HP is pretty much the same ?
@@amd1055tify it's not 400lbs heavier. It's 150lbs . you were looking at the 1.6L. It's a freaking FWD and still it took the 330i. The guy in the G70 didn't use LC and that's the only reason he lost.

What is going on with all these goofy lights for the drag races..!? I have seen every sort of contraption except for anything that even slightly resembles an actual drag race light tree.
the genesis is clearly the faster off the 3. the roll race shows which car is fastest. not the dig. needs to go back to the 3 way races.
most races in general are from rolls.
1/4 is slow for its power. Needs AWD or better trans to compete here.
@DQ333 ..that launch did look.like.it was done proper either. If I'm not mistaken, they both have a similar 1/4 time. So definitely, driver error .there is also an awd option for it. Looks like no LC was used.
Your edits from angle to angle are too short. We dont get to see if how the racers react to the start.
I use to own a 2018 Cadillac Ats 2.0T Luxury and would GAP every car in this video on several different occasions. Can't wait to get a BlackWing one day. They're quicker/faster than a M5 CS, AMG 63s, RS7, Gt500 and hellcats. Hennessy has a BlackWing it has 1,000 HP and more torque than a red eye. 💯🤯🎤💧

The Honda Accord always loses to the Kia with that same 2.5L turbo engine, so it will lose the Genesis as well.

@@Marlon_J no it wasn't tuned. And we've seen a stock Accord beat the 330i and, on another channel, a stock Accord beat the Genesis G70 2.0T. What I'm saying is you can't be so sure until you actually race them. The Genesis is 200 lbs heavier than the Kia, so you can't jump to conclusions.
