I work for BMW and I always look forward to these comparison videos so I can have a more honest opinion with the other guys who make great cars as well. Keep up the good work!
I have a question about that bmw in the video. It has a different front bumper than the other 2023 3 series. Whats the thing about that. What the package name of that.
BMW has a good amount of options for styling when you build your car out so I believe what you're referring to is the shadow line package. They've created more sporty options for designs on every model.
Please ask whoever is responsible to do smth about the visuals of the current digital instruments! At least to add some decent customisation possibilities. Those sharp-angled boomerangs both ain't exactly informative and not nice to look at. Most likely eventually I'll have to concede and force myself to update (still loving my F30 LCI too much though) but it would feel a lot like stepping over myself.
330 owner here. I agree with Thomas every time. The differences between these are small.. but noticeable. My 330 has some addons and a tune, and when you push it you can tell there’s a sports car soul underneath. It’s still just a daily driver though, but it’s a good one.
A damn good daily driver!! I got one with 32k miles for $29k. Got a maintance plan, and service contract. 39 mpg on the highway, fast and can swing the tail when I want, and a smooth luxury ride. It's a great deal
@Matthew Shote just a Dinan piggyback tuner so far. It's not a ton, but definitely noticeable. They claim ~15hp without other add-ons, I'd say it's pretty accurate. Probably going to a full dinan ECU flash this spring.
I bought the Mercedes after shopping all three brands. I did like the BMW, but they didn't have the 2023 model in stock at the time. The Mercedes does have decent legroom in the back and I think looks classier, which is why I like it better.
Actually not a bad feature. Imagine having kids sitting in the back or stupid friends sitting next to you and speaking to your car making it turn on seat heating, changing seating position, etc.
We bought the A4 just the other week. The fully specced out Technik edition in white with black optics. We really like the almost total cabin isolation which brings the road and traffic noise to almost zero. The combination of analogue and digital is just about perfect. We appreciate not having to use a touch screen to control things like the AC and volume. Audi virtual cockpit is pretty cool too. The understated interior design and styling overall is what was a big selling point. The MB in contrast looks a bit like a gaming PC inside. The ambient lights package in the Audi is perfect and perfectly implemented. Just about enough. Again in the MB it's a bit much. If you're tall like me and my wife you'll appreciate the Audi. The seats are wide and there is a lot of headroom and leg room. We only tried the BMW in addition to the Audi and the seats were smaller just fyi. I love the way BMWs drive but the Audi isn't far behind. For the kind of driving that you'll be doing in Canada I'd go Audi or MB in second place then the BMW. I think it's probably fair to say that all three are great cars and you'd probably be happy with either. We weren't the biggest fans of interior design in either the BMW or MB but that's a preference thing.
@@jasonr7035Reliability on B9.5 A4's is good. I have 15k on mine and just a wheel bearing under warranty. Agree with everything in the video, it does everything fine. Also was able to get ventilated front seats. Couldn't get that on the 330i.
4 years ago, I was trying to decide what to buy between Audi A4, BMW 3.30 and Merc C300 and I came up with your channel on TH-cam. Since that day, I’m following you and watching every piece of video you uploaded. By the way I bought BMW 3.30 because you chose it the best in your video :) Now, after 4 years, here we’re again, comparing these cars and I’m loving it. Keep up the good work guys, you’re awesome.
I bought AR Giulia 2 years ago. I am very happy but I would probably choose the 340i today. 2.0 turbo engine, no matter how much power it would have, if you do not press it, it is not pleasant to drive. The M or QV versions are unfortunately too expensive for my budget :(
@@rENEGADE666JEDI I cant buy a BMW simply because of the poor build quality alone. Interior quality is absolutely abysmal. Since thats the part you see 100% of the time driving the vehicle I find that extremely important. Audi for me, all the way. Mercedes is simply not a sports sedan. Never have been. You really gotta pay up at Mercedes to get that performance premium. The new MB cars however look nice but are built like crap as well. Audi is a clearly better built car in every way possible.
I purchased the C300 for luxury purposes. Coming from a 2016 328i it was sporty, fun to drive. But I preferred more luxury and the new c300 does that for me. Brakes as they said jerk you but over time you get use to it. I enjoy my C300, hope you enjoy whichever fits your lifestyle. God bless
I feel like a show comparing 2002 Models versus 2022 models would be interesting and help to bring us more content. I would love to see the comparisons between my 2002 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro and the 2022 Audi A6. Everything from engine options and interior options and all the specs available in 2002 and the same with the 2022. Then we can see what things have gotten better in two decades and what has gotten worse or we don’t like.
German A4 owner here. If you want the A4 to be more like a sports car, you need to get the full quattro (not quattro ultra technology) with crown gear and rear sport diff. None of which is available in North America.
You have to step up to the S4 for full Quattro with rear sport diff, but then at that price point you're competing against the C43 and M340i and generally both those are still sportier than the S4. IMO the A4/5 lineups is always the goldilocks between the C class and 3 series.
Hands down you two have the chemistry not no other reviewer’s can come close to. I can full imagine you referencing every day experience’s. Awesome review with comic touch
You guys always have fantastic content across a ton of cars - and it is very much appreciated! Maybe an updated S4, C43, and BMW comparison is in the works? How do those cars compare to something like a G70? Everyone online seems to compare G70s against Stingers or Acuras but seems to be limited content for the G70 vs zee germans?! Thanks again guys! keep up the great work!
As someone who is actively in the market for one of these cars and (as of this week) has test driven all three, here are my thoughts: The Mercedes is the best looking out of the 3. The fact that the company has homogenized their lineup is actually a good thing if you are in the market for a C-Class. I truly cannot tell it apart from the CLA, CLS, or E class. Also, that interior. You have to see it in person- it looks so futuristic and feels like a car that won't become obsolete anytime soon. At night it looks like the cockpit of a spaceship from Tron. Now the interior, while easily being the coolest, also feels like the cheapest. For example, the entire bottom line of "buttons"- which is just a tactile strip at the bottom of the center screen, moves regardless of where you push. The center part of the steering wheel is entirely plastic (save for the the 3 pointed star)- and just the odd creak and rattle here just tells me that the Mercedes still is lagging behind when it comes to build quality. The actual driving feel comes off as very uninspired. It's comfortable, but not exciting in any manner whatsoever. The Audi and the BMW are both more fun to drive. Noticeably so. All that being said, the first impression this car leaves is leagues ahead of the other two- and that means most people, seeing these cars side by side and sitting in them for a drive will probably think the Mercedes is EASILY the coolest and most special out of the 3. I know I did. Now, I have to agree that the Audi in this video is specced to the nines and looks amazing- however, that is thousands of dollars of extra trim. The baseline Audi A4 looks boring. It just doesn't strike your eye the same way the Mercedes or the BMW does. However, the interior, while also being the most boring, is easily the highest quality. Every button, knob and surface feels nice and premium. Not to mention it has a dedicated climate control center (easily one of the best ones in the entire market). All the buttons all feel so satisfying to press and turn. The screen is nice, responsive, and a good size. The truth is- I don't have many bad thing to say about the Audi. It does very little wrong. But just like your little cousin, who is nice and courteous and doesn't get into any trouble but also doesn't try to engage with you in anyway- it's also kind of hard to love. It's very easy to get along with, but sometimes you need to have a little drama and chaos to truly be excited about something. My entire time with the car I just knew that I'd get bored of it. The BMW falls somewhere squarely in between the Audi and the Mercedes. That huge double screen looks futuristic but also feels like it was just tacked on with no real care or thought (kind of like the Audi screen). The buttons look nice, but don't have anywhere near the tactile sensation of the Audi. The exterior of the car is very classic BMW. Personally, I like it, but it has always been an acquired taste. The Audi and the Mercedes are less offensive, Mercedes being better looking and Audi being worse looking because of it. However, no one buys a BMW for how it looks (as we can clearly tell from recent design choices with the M3). The question is does it drive well? Yes. In my opinion it offers a level of excitement that anyone who buys a car for the driving experience will accept. You may not be wowed by it, but it has true sports car character- just not the performance. TLDR: Buy the Mercedes if: you don't really care how it drives, you just want to impress everyone. Buy the Audi if: when asked what your dream car is you said "just something to get me from A to B". Buy the BMW if: you want a car that you can get into a little trouble with every once in a while but still take home to your mom.
What about comfort in the mercedes compared to the other two competitors? Don't you notice how the c class (probably far away from the s class) floats on the road? Btw very good and reletable description, had fun reading it
@@crashgenius9k279 it’s almost too lofty on the road if that makes sense. In a sense it feels more like a luxury vehicle than the other two but it comes at the cost of it having a good feel on the road as a driver’s car. In comfort mode the BMW and the Audi are more than comfortable to drive and when you actually feel like pushing them, they actually feel good to drive. The Mercedes just like of lofts around in sports mode.
The BIG advantage all these new 330i/C300/A4 Quattro type luxury sports cars have over the one's from 10-20 years ago is that we've finally reached the point where putting the car into Sport / Comfort / Race / Off-Road / Etc actually makes a real and significant difference to how the car feels and drives. From the Steering, Suspension, Throttle & Break Sensitivity, Break Balancing, Engine Mapping, Shifting & Exhaust Noise and more all significantly change now. As such you genuinely can have the best of all worlds depending on the circumstances. I've a top of the line 2004 LS430 Ultra Luxury edition which is 18 years old and in it all the 'Sport' setting does is allow it to Rev a little higher shifting gears. That's it. Even the 'Snow' Setting just starts the car in 2nd gear. That's it.
5.3 & 5.4 seconds 0-60 for me is excellent speed. The Audi looks the best here, but I wish you guys got the Brooklyn grey 330 M-sport…then it would have been a tie.
Love this video. Been cross shopping these three cars for months. Got an Audi A4 on order, just felt so composed, so confident, and did everything right.
Have had an Audi A4 for years, you will love it. Those things are just perfect. Does everything right. It honestly is a dream car for me, its the BEST car.
Haha. Non-car-guys will make the mistake of going for numb & understeer... Enjoy the worst possible layout: front-wheel-drive-based with the engine in front of the front axle.
@@pistonburner6448 I think it’s 40-60 split with 60 to the rear. I’m never going to be pushing the car to the limit, so not a big deal for me. Just want a daily driver that’s super safe and a hint of fun. Blows my CX-5 out of the water.
Just got the A4 45 Premium Plus. Oozes quality. Drives nicely. Yes, the appearance says business as usual, but when I get in the driver's seat I am 100 percent happy.
Same dude. I just got mine in august & I love it. I upgraded from a 2019 Honda Civic sport. The 2022 a4 premium plus is amazing. I have no issue, I drive it everyday.
As long as you have no interest in driving feels and sportiness (which I have), Audi is the best choice among the 3 German brands currently. And if you are serious about driving feeling and sportiness, even BMW is no longer a really right pick: you better watch for your car outside the German brands.
My wife and I have a G20 330i with the M Sport package - specifically, it's a 2021, making it pre-LCI. I don't know why we'd want to upgrade to the new one, honestly. iDrive 8? Doesn't seem entirely better than iDrive 7. 7 is just simple to read and simple to use, while looking pretty modern. The performance is pretty much the same, and arguably, the pre-LCI cars look better. Having said that, of the three cars here, we'd probably end up picking that one if we had to choose. The M Sport package is a must, though, if you want the nice and chunky steering wheel and larger M Sport wheels on the outside, which do serve to make the car feel more sporty overall. The Audi looks great. I've often heard that they have numb-but-accurate steering, but I wonder how much of a deal breaker that is. It's not like our 330i has amazing steering, but there is some feedback to it. Anyway, it just has a low-key, yet sharp, look to it that I personally like. I just don't find the Benz appealing at all. The body looks okay, though very much a stretched CLA. The interior and such are a big "no" for me. The big slabs that are screens just are not elegant enough to be in "a Benz". Overall the BMW has been a fantastic car. Perfect? No. Sometimes the braking feel is annoying as mentioned in the video, but it can be adapted to. It gets stellar fuel mileage, too, and though the suspension can be a bit busy on broken pavement, it's a phenomenal highway cruiser. On top of that, it's pretty entertaining to drive.
Except the Benz doesn't really deliver on what it promises. If it's comfort you're after, why not go all the way and check if you can get a Genesis G80 instead? Same price but larger, more luxurious and getting rave reviews too. Not being able to brake reliably and smoothly should not be possible on a production car in 2022. Also, I would love to see them drive a comfortable Audi. I never understand why they need to shoehorn in this sporty styling when we're dealing with an understeered FWD platform. It'd probably be a better car when aiming to be a Volvo competitor, rather than BMW / Alfa Romeo whilst falling short of both.
Mercedes gets me with the interior every time. That c class interior looks fantastic especially at night with the ambient lighting. You can have the performance from BMW or extra tech from audi i wont use. The interior of the mercedes at night is breath taking
James seemed to be more open minded. Thomas' bias towards BMW really showed. The Audi, IMHO was by far the best looking car of the 3. Thomas was just like meh. I don't think it was even close. The BMW was the most boring and ordinary looking of the 3
@@jackd232 without hard buttons, I gave to disagree. It doesn't matter how it looks if it's a pita to use. Why these manufacturers are putting all touch screen options in a 1.5 or 2 or even 4 ton vehicle is beyond me. It's simply not safe. Again, just for safety alone I'd take the Audi over the Mercedes. If going off looks only, the Mercedes interior is definitely nice, but from a practicality standpoint it's a failure for me. The screen in the BMW is just hideous
I own the newest A4 45 and test drove the competition prior to it. Once I sat in the Audi, I knew instantly it was the car for me. The build quality and materials just make the car feel like it should be in a class above the others. Plus, it’s the faster car of the three so my mind was made up very quick
I also took on a 2019 a4. the bmw has a tight chasis and power train maybe better. the Audi is simply so much tighter from exterior to interior to chasis and transmission. and powertrain. all parts surprise and slot together in a unique fashion that the bmw and mb don't
@@fabolousjada5070 No it doesn’t, it’s slower than the A4, and 330i, bimmers and Audi interior is better. Again it’s all subjective at the end of the day
A "normal" motorized Giulia is like a S/M340/C43 just without the badge. The stuff you get in those performance cars is like its almost free on the Giulia itself. If i would need to pick a "normal" car it would be the giulia of all three.
Genuinely true. Even the long-held like of Germans costing a fortune to maintain must truly be dead for all but the most cantankerous of performance models. Crappy little hateboxes designed to get self loathing sycophants from their house in the burbs to their job in the CBD are dead. Even a big standard Corolla has an infotainment system that pissed on the Germans and short as 10 years ago... Ago. Cheap cars have gotten better and I think that there's a lot to be said for a frugal car these days. I would actually love to see a price point comparison from Thomas and James on exactly this, show us a Camry, a 320i and a Malibu and really pick at what the Beamer does better, if it even is that much better and if the 20k you spend to get it is actually worth it. After owning many Germans myself including a e92 335i and a golf GTI mk6 I expect not.

They still do the same with the dots in the daylight running parts of the head lights. Mercedes is all about the S class & G Class...everything else is just cheaper watered down versions of them for people that can't afford the Top
if you cant tell the diffrence between the models, imo youre not really into cars, its so easy to differentiate them from each other. Totally agree on the C-class. Test drove one back to back with a leftover 2021 W205 C-300 and ended up buying that one. Saved $$ and I feel like the new C just isn't a big step forward.
As a W205 owner (previous gen c class) and general Mercedes fan boy, honestly the new generation has lost most of its appeal. Worse exterior, worse interior (despite being more modern) and worse driving dynamics. I’ve owned several c classes, but when I’m done with this one I think I’ll be moving on.
The same here. Mercedes is loosing it's vibe, it's feeling... all gimmics and plastics, screens and lights... kinda trying to be a german tesla, but loosing it's famous class and elegance.
the c class in person is fucking ugly the interior is nice but, the BMW is better overall you can do mods on it bootmod3 and bimmercode and things like that. Just sounds and looks better in my opinion
Honestly I can't say anything about the new 3 series makes me want to upgrade from my trusty e90 LCI. Both the engine and the hamron sound system make that car sound absolutely amazing no matter what mood you're in. No Audi I have ever been in has had a sound system anywhere close to it, and I don't have a need for any more tech than mine already offers. At least the new car still looks good
I am glad you said they were all nice cars just a bit different in personality. Once you get to this class car, they are all nice cars but a bit different. I have worked with BMW for over 35 years and I prefer them, however once you get to this class car just buy the one you like, not what your friend or car buddy likes but get what you like!!!
yeah this is the correct move. go test drive each one, don't listen to online opinions *too* much as it's not throttle house's money that's paying for the car, it's yours 😅 get what makes you, and only you, happiest.
Fellow b9 s4 owner here, I had a b9 w/out the sport package (diff, suspension) and now have a b9.5 with the sport option. 1000% worth it! Comfort mode drives super smooth.
There's a body shop guy at my job that has an "M3 318i" M3 badge crooked..... Also I have seen customers come in with X1M, a BASE 530i debadged with an M5 badge, countless BMW X5 35i rebadged as X5Ms, M535is, M750Lis. It's.. It's just depressing
Crazy to think those are the base models in north america. Here in germany it's pretty rare to see one of these, 90% of them are lower end models like the C200 or 320d/i.
Man, the price for these cars is well above 50k. I live in France and here a well equipped c class costs up to 70k (I'm talking abt the c220d). Its really becoming way too expensive...
I don't understand why we focus so much on performance when our roads are so bad lol, confort and well isolated cabin is what we should concentrate on :) The BMW should have the M package to compare with the two others also.
I have owned 3 BMWs and currently own and drive a 3 series. I absolutely adore the 3 series. However, the biggest piece of advice that I can give someone is to never buy new. The depreciation that occurs in the first 2 years is unreal. Buy a well maintained 2 year old BMW with a warranty.
Great review video! I had considered each of these cars, both the last versions and the new/current ones, and to my surprise I picked the C300. I just bought a service loaner ‘22 with 500 miles on it (with a healthy discount off sticker and an extra year of warranty since it was sold as a CPO). It has the AMG Line package with sport suspension, which I think limits body roll in the corners nicely. This is my first luxury car, first German car, and first car whose MSRP was north of $50K USD. Just got it yesterday so it will be a little while before I really get used to it, but so far I really like it. By the way, the heated steering wheel turns on when you turn on the heated seats.
@@boukm3n Yes, it is amazing, and I do love it! My car has inlaid aluminum stripes in the natural wood dash and enhanced ambient lighting. The interior is a major reason I bought this particular C300.

I drove a 2022 Audi A4 in the first half of this year, and now I'm driving a 2022 Mercedes Benz C300. My impression is that the Audi is much snappier than the Benz, but the Benz feels far more luxurious. So much more luxurious that it makes the A4 feel cheap in comparison. Overall, I'm much happier with the Benz.
Finally an honest review on these 3 of course the Audi makes the best daily 💯 y’all hilarious I learn a bunch of words I never knew existed every time 😆
I had a 17 & 18 A4… then I decided to do something different.. went to a ‘19 330… it drives wayyy nicer than the Audi. The suspension is better the steering and the way the car feels over the ground. However, I am 6’2” and I’m just too long for the 3 series. I try not to not drive more than an hour because I will get uncomfortable. The size is more narrower than the A4 and the front just feels more “fitted”. I really love driving my 330 but the comfort is starting to become more of an issue for me :/ in the A4 there’s a little more room but still not the same as BMW.
Hi! I feel the same the pedals are offset to the left. I get pain in my right hip. When you break you go to much with your right foot to the left. I love the way the car drives but I am gonna buy a Mercedes or an Audi
The start stop in the Audi a4.. or in any audi these days… k.. few details.. 1) doesn’t matter if you’re in dynamic, comfort, or a mix.. 2) also have to make sure you haven’t disabled the button.. but it’s automatically on when you start the car.. 3) if you have air on (whether heat or air conditioning) the car won’t turn itself off at a stop. Most people have air running so yeah.. you don’t save any gas or it’s very very minimal. I turn the button off but only remember to do so when I’m surprised the car shut off at a stop .. it provokes think “uh did my car just die?”.. thoughts. Too scary. Plus it’s a bit harsh.. the start when you let your foot off the brake that is. Maybe in different models it’s better. I’m speaking from owning a 2018 S3
So how do I prevent the car from turning off at a stop? Air is always running anyway. The automatic start when your foot is off the break is so annoying. So many cars have that today
Test drove them all and the bmw is easily the best drivers car as most reviewers say. It has all the luxury and tech u need. I also think it looks the most sporty and aggresive but thats just me. If u want a drivers car bmw is always the answer. B58 engine also sounds the best which is very important too the experience
I don’t even watch these guys for the cars anymore, I just watch this for them LOL I can care less about an Audi, Beamer or Benz and I still watched this Video and enjoyed it. God Bless these guys for being so awesome as always 😅
About a year and a half ago, I shopped these 3 options (2020, 2021 models). I liked the look of the A4 better with S-line package, and at the time I liked it's interior better as well but it definitely felt like the car the bean counters would drive versus someone in my profession. The 3 series was good and I enjoyed it a lot, but BMWs design language to me is just boring (maybe except the true M cars, but I wasn't shopping that price range. And the C class, everything freaking made noise, they aren't lying when they said it's creeky, they definitely are. So in the end, I ended up buying the best looking, most sporty, quickest entry level sport sedan option... The Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Sport. I know, I know, I'm going to be spending time at the dealer, but it's just a better car.
I was actually faced with a similar situation as yours 2 years ago. I went with a Kia Stinger because for $10-15k CDN less than the rest, I got a decently fun to drive and comfortable hatchback that help my haul my 65” Samsung OLED Tv home from Costco. Plus it had a decent TTV6 with all the goodies like cooled seats, HUD, 360 cam etc. $51k CDN brands new was just a bargain for these here in Canada for what you get. I almost ended up trading it in earlier this year because it got appraised for $45k even though I put on 110,000km on it, but it’s my first car so I couldn’t. Lol
@@HellzHonour I was looking at the Stinger too as well as the G70, but since I was shopping lightly used there wasn't much on the market them for either of them, at least not ones that were optioned the way I wanted, so I didn't mention them.
@@Predator212ma I got the upgraded leather seats (red), and leather wrapped everything. The interior is beautiful, so I disagree with you, however, the infotainment is terrible. Good thing that wasn't a criteria I really care about, I care more for the drive and handling which the Alfa dominates these 3.
interior car design has entered the LAZIEST era ever. just slap screen in every empty space , done. that big stupid screen on the MB for example could've been integrated into the center stock, curved, pretty, maybe even w the option to hide it with a nice wooden hatch....or a screen saver to match the center console... I mean something that my 9 year old wouldn't come up with! like slapping square screens everywhere.
@PEEPSLASTXAN I don’t see how a screen is better looking than analog gauges... but that is all opinion of course. But my point is not anti-screen; it is anti-lazy screen design and placement. They have the technology to bend and make them into anything and place them in a cabin a million great ways...and they choose to just slap a square slab on top of everything and call it a day… and the usual improvement on it is to just make it bigger....lazy and my kid would come up with the same design if asked to. I was excited to see what designers that went to school for years! would do with this technology, but it turns out they have zero imagination. Cadillac was the only one that for a second there, was doing something more interesting...now they’ve also reverted to lazy design.

That was pretty smart from Mercedes. The passenger isn't allowed to mess with the driver seat settings.

@@rENEGADE666JEDI I cant buy a BMW simply because of the poor build quality alone. Interior quality is absolutely abysmal. As someone who is actively in the market for one of these cars and (as of this week) has test driven all three, here are my thoughts:
The Mercedes is the best looking out of the 3.
TLDR:
Buy the Mercedes if: you don't really care how it drives, you just want to impress everyone.

That's it.

The C class looks better but I still think I’d go with a Beemer
the c class in person is fucking ugly the interior is nice but, the BMW is better overall you can do mods on it bootmod3 and bimmercode and things like that. Just sounds and looks better in my opinion
I personally prefer the A4, but I agree, that C class style is wearing my down. Looks luxurious. I test drove it and really enjoyed it.
@@madmax1631I seen the bmw 330i in person and I would have to say the Benz look better exterior
At least the new car still looks good
The new bmw update makes it the best for me. The interior looks clean and functional and the dynamics are the best
Just got my M2 competition because of you a week ago! Traded in a lifted Toyota Tundra, and yes I live in Canada, so I might be crazy.
The foliage color is beautiful. Great driving scenery.
You got beaten up a lot in school didn’t you?
And amazing cars too. Bar none.

Back in the day these used to be 30k. Then for a while they were around 40k. Now they are 50k. Crazy how the prices go up over time.
Maybe in the late 90’s they were 30k….for a BASE model
In Turkey, it was 150k TL, then got 450k now these cars are over 4M so shut up..
It is embarrassing.. Like come on.. LOL
I've once seen an X5 with an M badge, but it was before the X5 logo so it read MX5, lol.
Crazy to think those are the base models in north america. Here in germany it's pretty rare to see one of these, 90% of them are lower end models like the C200 or 320d/i.
bc gas is cheap here.
Same in the uk.
You see a bmw 330 or c class 300 you know it's someone winning at life.
Man, the price for these cars is well above 50k. I live in France and here a well equipped c class costs up to 70k (I'm talking abt the c220d). Its really becoming way too expensive...
i ordered an m3 comp and mildly specced it's 90k
Vive la tva et le malus n’est ce pas 🥲
I don't understand why we focus so much on performance when our roads are so bad lol, confort and well isolated cabin is what we should concentrate on :) The BMW should have the M package to compare with the two others also.
not all of us in your neighborhood
I have owned 3 BMWs and currently own and drive a 3 series. I absolutely adore the 3 series. However, the biggest piece of advice that I can give someone is to never buy new. The depreciation that occurs in the first 2 years is unreal. Buy a well maintained 2 year old BMW with a warranty.
This used to be the $30,000 question.
It’s called inflation.
Well, even 10 years ago it was still 40+.
I'd rather save a bunch of money and get a Mazda3 turbo
Enjoy the car!
How do you like the interior? AmazIng isn’t it?
@@boukm3n Yes, it is amazing, and I do love it! My car has inlaid aluminum stripes in the natural wood dash and enhanced ambient lighting. The interior is a major reason I bought this particular C300.
@@timothycoyne5874 Sadly, you get fanboys here that think everyone buys vehicle for "track day". I'm an Audi owner but love all German vehicles. Enjoy you new car!

Wow guys what a beautiful autumn road! I want to travel there! Greetings from Ukraine!!
I wonder how this review would have gone if the three cars were chosen with highest-trim engines. 340 would probably be the best performer. Great video guys!
Yeah this comparison has been done already by a lot of channels/magazines and the 340i won every time.
This type of cars we can almost afford not always expensive versions
@@questionyourself718yet the C43 is 10,000 dollars more expensive than M340i and S4 😂
@@manofsesame3024 the new one? I didnt even knew, thats crazy 😄
My pick of the three would be the Alfa Romeo Giulia
I drove a 2022 Audi A4 in the first half of this year, and now I'm driving a 2022 Mercedes Benz C300. My impression is that the Audi is much snappier than the Benz, but the Benz feels far more luxurious. So much more luxurious that it makes the A4 feel cheap in comparison. Overall, I'm much happier with the Benz.
agree

Was hoping you guys would throw the Caddies into the mix! good they got a mention at the end at least!
I’m speaking from owning a 2018 S3
i hella want a 2018 s3 do you recommend it?
I really like the dynamics of a BMW but for the last couple years, Audi has gained some points with me… But it must be because I’m an accountant 🤷🏻♂️
Awesome review ...im definitely getting the BMW then ...and kudos to the presenters ..very well read and nice word plays and references...
Love the comparisons between the more practical cars
I really like the 330 with those rims in the video and without the sport fascia. more classic and tasteful
I like that you guys have included kilowatts and NM. Thank you.
I'd love to see a comparison between the C43AMG the M340i and the Audi S4 Wagons :)
The BMW 3 Series is and will always be the Benchmaker..it's a driver's car by far with it's unmatched dynamics and engineering
3 series still is incredible.

Alfa interior is just insanely wack
@@jamesjacko8546 doesn't dominate the 3series.
interior car design has entered the LAZIEST era ever. just slap screen in every empty space , done. that big stupid screen on the MB for example could've been integrated into the center stock, curved, pretty, maybe even w the option to hide it with a nice wooden hatch....or a screen saver to match the center console... I mean something that my 9 year old wouldn't come up with! like slapping square screens everywhere.
I wouldn't blame the designers. It's what the general consumers want
Looks pretty good to me, better than not having a screen at all like slow ahh classic cars 🤢🤮
