When cylinder wall is dry, u get low compression. When u pour in any liquid, u will get higher compression. You will get the low compression when the liquid is all pushed out. Granted maybe some carbon on the rings has been loosened and washed away. Maybe the rings get unseized too, then it is a more permanent solution.

Its because at revlimiter its only cutting spark, meaning it gets absolutely flooded with fuel. When shifting, all that unburnt fuel fouls the sparkplug for a moment. Had that aswell

Could it be fuel starvation issue? When fuel level is about 55%, if you take a hard or long right hander, all the fuel moves to the driver side, where the fuel sender unit cannot move fuel fast enough

You were one of the guys I started watching when I was first getting into E46s. Now, I have a 330ci on a Precision 6466 and a MaxxECU Race. Getting ready to do an 8hp70 swap. I could never kick the goofy thermostat logic on the stock DME. Would constantly run 82C when it should be 95C. I had some bad coils that were failing intermittently. Caused some break ups. Not sure if that could potentially be your problem or not

95C is normal operating temp. 82C is indicating that your DME is defaulting to its lowest temp setting on the electronic thermostat.

What data can you pull from the logs? Can you monitor fuel pressure? What ecu are you running? Glad your back

think it can be ecu issue....this is particulary why I;m leaning towards swaping some engine which was stock with forced induction then trying to make work stock NA ecu with turboed engine. I know, that ms43-community is grown a lot, but stil....Maybe simply try some Link? Maxxecu? In my B30 I'm running "polish solution" so stock ms43 combined with fuel implant ecu master Det3 and it is ohnestly running without any weird ecu-electronical-problems at all, but this is still piggyback with wasted spark...

Has anyone had issues where tunerpro will read afr very erratic? Using aem gauge and the gauge reads good and steady but on tuner pro it’ll just constantly spike up and down. Gauge is wired into post cat o2

Hi Carl. I see you wrote "china 3076", but is it this one with AR 0,8x? Asking cause have 3,0 with probably the same turbo, where even there I'm not 100% happy how it wakes up on 2nd and now will be turboing my daily with B25. I want just some simple mod for mid-250's from probably something like 5-6psi, but wondering how you like the responsivness of your b25 now? For sure even with 3076 would go to AR 63, but still not sure if it will be not lazy (lag, not spool) and driving me nuts :P Cheers from Poland! Your content is very helpfull for me overall
