      I've used my tyres almost daily with my clients and always on asphalt and each tyre typically has lasted 3 years. The tyres are also free to get second hand from a car yard, they don't need to be brand new tyres. As for the weights, almost any weights will work, you might just need to attach some timber under the lip of the tyre to help keep the bricks or water jugs from slipping through. Hope that helps! :)

    Does this work well for resisted sprints? I’m thinking that the weight on top of the tire would fall off while sprinting…

    • @HeyFossa
      @HeyFossa 10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I've created a variation that uses some timber attached to the inside of the tyre. Then a pvc pipe coming up off that which the weight plates slide onto. This helps to stop them slipping off if you're running with the sled. If you're planning to do sprints with it, something like this might be the way to go.

    This is *THE* video for every single one that wants to actually normalize the way they eat. This video should have billions of views. Why would people not listen to this? I’m on day 8 of my life change, so to speak. I am still trying to figure out what I feel like when hungry. 30+ years of eating 24/7. I have absolutely no idea what it means to be hungry or what that feels like.

    My meals could be really small if I only ate until satisfaction. And you said that it’s okay to eat more than 3 meals per day if necessary. But what about when ‘they’ say that you must not eat too often (more than 3x/day) so that the insulin can go down far enough in between meals? Because you can’t lose weight if there insulin in your blood.

    If I am not sure if I am hungry or not I imagine a bowl of cooked veggies. If I can imagine eating them and I light up then I am hungry. If I imagine eating them and I gag then I’m not hungry maybe just anxious, bored, or insert emotions. When I am hungry everything sounds good.

    I was right with this, until the descriptions of physical hunger began. What's actually being described is not hunger. It's the digestive system starting to recover and do its work better. Hunger is felt in the back of the throat, maybe upper chest. Very different feeling, altogether, from what we are taught hunger is like. Think about it! When you get thirsty, you don't feel it in your belly! You feel it in areas near to where the water needs to come in!

    Do you recommend jumping in 100% all at once or would you suggest allowing yourself some emotional eating at first to get adjusted to the change? Like 70-80%... I noticed that this increases my anxiety.
