That Rockpile album is great. Someone gave me a copy of it many years ago, album only, and eventuallyI was able to find the 45 that goes with it. I've got the Nervous On The Road and Silver Pistol albums from Brinsley Schwartz. Will have to seek out the ones you showed. Enjoy your videos and checking to see any changes to the albums on the back wall.

I am 57 and have been in to rare and obscure music my entire life and of course the internet has help expose so many more bands. I actually remember as a kid our local station KSHE 95 was the main station for the midwest, and they would play some very rare songs. They played at least one song from Brinsley Schwartz that I remember called 'Ebury Down' check it out. The cool thing is there is actually live footage from a German music show called The Beat Club of them performing it. And it is on TH-cam. I have been watching mostly the 60's and 70's obscure rock reviewers through the years and quite a few faded away. There are some I don't even know about. Psychederek is a good one that has seemed to pretty much take over. I remember when he was just starting and I never really thought a young kid would make it talking that type of music. And I have no shame in saying I was totally wrong, his knowledge is incredible. Now you are also one of the main ones I watch, your record collection as far as originals is incredible. Keep up the good work I am sure your subscriber list will continue to go up. I actually wish I would have gotten in to what you guys are doing but oh well.

Come on people, be honest. This album is not great. Bizarre thing is it has these pieces that are brilliant & the band is solid. The vocals, ARE HORRIBLE on some tracks, this was badly engineered. I'm not mentioning some of the lyrics & the billy goat stupidity. He wanted to be The Who or The Doors, whatever. Parts are fantastic though...it's sad actually...if they had someone else singing, it would've been a different history for the group.

I agree completely, some of them are really fantastic, hard to believe it's the same album. I listened to the whole record & it sounds like two separate albums on some songs. Who knows what was going on during the recording sessions. Thank You for this, always looking for the very obscure. 👍

Although it was an early one in my psych discoveries, I've never rated this as high as most. Some of the silly vocal styles & mixing could've used some help. I have been collecting off and on since the 70s but sadly I have had to buy most of what I want online these days due to the lack of heat at any of my local shops. I do hit the occasional record convention, yard sale and thrift shop but it’s not often enough to matter. As for my day job, I am a SR Regional Program Manager at Amazon. Also saw Wilco on the Being There tour and that was one of the best shows I have been to. Jay Bennett and Jeff were amazing together live. Wilco post YHF became more Jeff Tweedy and friends imo. The Cavedogs are cool, I had a CD of their second album, would like the vinyl, but like you said, not a lot of pressings. Been looking for the Action, I really like those 60s bands of that era. I have the Outsiders album titled CQ, their psychedelic opus from 69, but I don't have any of their earlier albums. Have you heard of Group 1850? They are also from Holland and are an excellent psych band, but you probably knew that. I have a few albums on the Warner 7 Arts label, like Live Dead, and Van Morrison's Astral Weeks. The Dangtrippers album cover is great. The Western Flier album sounds like it I would love it. I will check out the Bobby Brown album.

Did not know this was Dewey Martin's band all the times I've heard this, though I don't own. It is a solid record though

Just streamed this one this week! What a find! Totally nuts, kind of gives me a Velvet Underground at their most cacophonous and some of that Stooges Fun House stuff with all the saxophone on it, as you mentioned. I think one of these songs was featured on the Total Punk 45 comp. This one is a really pricy record for what it is, but that sound is nuts. Kind of reminds me of The Residents and Trout Mask Replica, but Debris' totally does their own thing. I just love the absurdity. I love the talking and stereo madness. Nice copy of Power Plan back on your wall too!

You describe debris well!! Toss in a little pere ubu for good measure. So glad you liked it. If you ever want a clean original press I have 1 extra down from 3. I went a little nuts. lol. It’s a private press so you know it will continue to rise over time. Cheers Jimmy

@@Vinylfromtheunderground That's awesome Jimmy, thanks for the offer! I can't justify getting an original press, but may consider a reissue at some point. I was listening again today and turned a friend on to them on our drive back from lunch. It really is a one of a kind album, it's just so out there and different and it makes me smile to hear this stuff.

Oh, man - if there's a complaint I even have about Buffalo Springfield is that they aren't hard-edged enough and not as acid involved as they could've been. Blue Mountain seems closer to the spirit of those late-era live B. Springfield videos where they crank it and jam out.
