Jimmy, love the Cavedogs. One of my favorite songs is from their first album, Leave Me Alone. Thanks, Chris

My first ever concert was Leon Russell in summer 1972, Tulsa Oklahoma, with Willis Allan Ramsey, JJ Cale, and Freddie King, the album Carny had just been released. I was 15 yrs old was blown away by this Shelter People concert!

Been wanting Opal for many years, used to have it in the 80s, my copy was on black vinyl. Never see it in the bins now. Steve Roback was in early Rain Parade, he left after their first album. I bought that Action LP, It didn't do much for me. Love the first Outsiders album, haven't heard anything else by them. Cool showing, you always deliver the goods.

I was all messed up with robeck and mazy vs slow dive. lol. I have all of rain parades lps and completely spaced that connection too. Funny how making videos creates this gap for me. Getting old sux. Thanks for watching and commenting

Thanks for the reminder. I certainly love the Scottish bands like teenage fanclub and the pearlfishers

@@Vinylfromtheunderground Sweet! Talking of Paisley, there's a cool picture of members of The Dream Syndicate, Rain Parade and The Bangles taken when they took a trip there between Glasgow shows last year. They posed in front of a shop called Made In Paisley 😋

Hey, Crazy Jimmy, just discovered your channel, awesome stuff! That Opal album is great, I have a German press on Rough Trade from 1987. The Cavedogs are cool, I had a CD of their second album, would like the vinyl, but like you said, not a lot of pressings. Been looking for the Action, I really like those 60s bands of that era. I have the Outsiders album titled CQ, their psychedelic opus from 69, but I don't have any of their earlier albums. Have you heard of Group 1850? They are also from Holland and are an excellent psych band, but you probably knew that. I have a few albums on the Warner 7 Arts label, like Live Dead, and Van Morrison's Astral Weeks. Some really amazing stuff there Jim, thanks for sharing. Check out my channel if you'd like, we have similar taste.🙃👍
