Can I sketch on Vellum

Hi dear, how are you? I have a question that maybe you can help me with. How do you make the letters draw in a single stroke? Because in the tests I did, it always draws the outline (I think they are called bubble fonts). I didn't find any configuration to solve this (I don't want to draw the outline and then use fill options). And the other thing I noticed is that everything is done in little pieces, it doesn't follow the entire line of the text but draws a few millimeters, lifts, rests, draws a few more millimeters... To make a simple card it takes several minutes -.- Thanks <3

I have gone through this process and updated my software. I believe I did it at the beginning of October. For a while everything worked smoothly: my library synced well, I was able to recover files, and new purchases showed up automatically in my library. But the past few days it doesn't seem to work again. IOW new purchases won't show up. I've logged out and back in. I've "synced" my library numerous times. I've moved from "working online" to "working offline" and back again. NOTHING new shows up. My internet connection is fine. I realize I can manually download the files, but I don't have time for that--I especially don't have time to search for all the new purchases in my thousands of files (they no longer show up under downloads in any particular order) in addition to downloading, unzipping, and transferring files. Help!!! What do I do? I have contacted Silhouette and am awaiting a reply. I am trying to be patient with this entire process but this is becoming more and more frustrating as time passes.

Thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I just got my heat pen set and tried to do an envelope. I set up my placement and put my envelope on the 1" mark in each direction. It foiled too far right and went onto my mat for some reason. What step did I miss?

Stuff just isnt downloading properly.

I know this video is 3 months old but I’m still having problems. Hundreds and hundreds of designs failing to download in my library. Tried again and again but still won’t download. Also, when I click on a design, the icon disappears 🤷‍♀️

It's happening again, purchases made in November are not appearing in my library. Do you have any information about this? Or is it just happening to me?

Do you have any advice on why my recent purchases aren't downloading to my library? I have updated and done everything I can think of. After trying new things, now my account says I have no orders since 2012. I just purchased 3 this week but 2 wont download into my library. What in the world is going on? haha. Thanks for your help!

I just found a fix for the problem I was having and wanted to share. I have a design where I needed to go into the LINE action instead of SIMPLE so that only one color would cut. What I didn't realize what that the setting for THAT SPECIFIC COLOR was set to a different material that I was using. I changed the material for that color to the correct one, and it fixed my issue. It was kind of a duh moment, but I just wanted to save anyone else from this insanity-inducing issue. Thanks for your video!

Ahhh...You took the material off of the cardboard tube and then it fits and aligns properly!!! :)

How do I make a score line? I don't see that in the line properties.

I'm having a similar issue. My page setup changes for the design view but when I view the media view, the previous dimension is reflected, which is too small. Any suggestions?

I"m reading what I was supposed to do after almost all files and credits missing and I goofed. I didn't see how to get the older version to download and downloaded the current. I cannot find on the Software Please pull down the main menu in the Cloud Library screen, select Settings, and click "LIBRARY SNAPSHOT". Where is that located, please? Betsy

You etched on the wrong side. Now it's going to be a nightmare to write on, the image is going to be covered by papers, and you'll only see the reverse image from the back. Etch the back side.

How well does this cut fabric like Pellon interfacing? Also, can it cut a small hole and then a bigger hole afterwards on the same section? Looking to make some slipmats for turntables.
