    Whew! Where did grace, forgiveness ever go? Sorry, Ellie. On a lighter note thank you for your hard work and staying the course. I even feel sorry for the "techs." I can imagine everybody is at wits end. Obviously, they have had 70 days of nightmares or this. Wonder how many quit? Thanks again for your hard work and may grace reign in people's hearts and tongues.🤫

    Thank you Elly Mae! Your explanation was very heart felt. I'm so sorry that people are so irritated with you. Their ignorance is showing through. I'm a long time Cameo user. I think back to 2014. I really appreciate the fine work that you and the other experts on the Facebook page have been doing. I'm a hobbyist, not someone making money with this machine, but I have backed up my files for years and keep many of them offline. Like you I don't worry about what I have purchased from Silhouette because I can re-download those files if I need to. I hope you take time for yourself and your family because this too shall pass.

    Thanks Elly! I am still sitting back and waiting it out. I have not updated my software for fear of my library disappearing, I checked offline when you first suggested it in June. I love love love my machine and the software so hoping they get it figured out soon. Edit: Buy Elly a coffee for all her support!

    Wow!!!! For folks to cuss you out.....shame on them. You are not the one that has control over Silhouette servers! You have the patience of a saint and I for one appreciate every video you have done. Thank YOU., you are by far the best. Psst! ( Maybe Silhouette should hire you to handle their problem...you're very thorough. )🧐

      I will 100% admit I don't have the expertise to handle the massive transfer they did, but I would have a few bits of advice on the view as a Silhouette user and how this has affected all of us. ;) But, I can also help more Silhouette users as not being constrained by being an employee too!

    I know this video is 3 months old but I’m still having problems. Hundreds and hundreds of designs failing to download in my library. Tried again and again but still won’t download. Also, when I click on a design, the icon disappears 🤷‍♀️

      You can try to register it now or just skip that part and get on to using the machine. The registration is for the 1 year warranty which starts from the date of purchase.... and it triggers the free designs with machine which are not always coming through right now with all the issues..... but you can skip that step and still setup and use the machine.

    December 14, 2024 and no designs are syncing still. Also my recent purchases are not showing up on Design Store either 🥺

    A couple interesting things- I had a quarter of the files you have and my storage shows full. I do t understand how it’s so full.
    Also do you have a video of your library is completely empty and nothing is there and options of how to try and retrieve them?? I logged into silhouette website as well and see my full library but nothing is there. I am so upset over this and I guess hope it’s fixed soon.

      Cloud storage is based on how many files you have added to the library or you have saved to the library.
      Silhouette Design Store files that sync to the library automatically do not count against that storage.
      Patterns, photos, etc. can be large files and eat up storage very quickly.
      At the moment there is no "fix" that is working for all users. I would recommend emailing Silhouette Support with as much detail as you can and provide photos of what you are seeing.
      If you have user designs that you want to retrieve from the library and you are on a computer that was successfully synced prior to this, then you can try this library extractor - www.reddit.com/r/silhouettecutters/comments/1dyi415/silhouette_studio_library_extractor_for_windows/

      Thank you- everything was synced. I’ll try the extractor tool. I also did email support.
      I had about 350 user designs and storage is full just strange that I see so many others with tons of user designs and their storage isn’t even close.
      Definitely learned a lesson to save to the hard drive. I started doing it one by one guess I should have tried the export tool.

      @@brookep6657 how much storage do you have in the cloud total?
      All users start out with 1 GB storage.
      If someone has a Design Store subscription or is a Silhouette Club member, they get 5 GB of storage.
      This could account for what you see in the difference when comparing to someone else's account.
      For instance, I have 5 GB because I had a Design Store subscription.
      I do not save much to the library at all. This is why my library shows I only have used approximately 600 MB of a 5 GB total. I am still 400 MB from 1 GB. So my cloud bar in the bottom left corner will look different than a user who only has 1 GB total storage....

      Ooh gotcha. I have 1 Gb and it’s full. Prior to this I started deleting old stuff that I would never use and then I was starting to save to my computer hard drive but didn’t do it fast enough.
      Instead of saving to your library do you have to your computer or an external hard drive ?

      @@brookep6657 I save to an external hard drive to keep my computer cleaner and running better.
      And then I also have another external hard drive that I back up to regularly. After I lost 9 months of data, I try to do this several times a month. Each user will vary.

    Hi EllyMae. My account shows I have been offline since 5/6/24 and that I am signed in. I can pull any design into my design mat whether it is a silhouette studio file or something I myself added to my library. Every design has either a circled green check or a circled green lock. Am I golden and just continue to stay offline. I have been scared to try anything different.

      @postmaster585 yes! I would just keep doing what you have been and don't change it right now. If you need to, direct download files from Silhouette for new files.
