I'm saving this video to refer to once I "graduate" to this level. 😊 I can potentially see wanting to save pallets for similar types of projects. Are there any limitations to the number of custom pallets I can save?
I like to batch make this. Make a bunch of squares and fill each one with a different color. After adding and naming a new pallet, I'll select the squares that correspond to that pallet and choose to add. Didn't save the location before changing computers and lost my previous pallets. 😅 What I need help with is the gradients. How to create new ones that actually look good.
I'm not sure I understand the custom color palette thing. Where did it come from and how to store it somewhere on your computer? Usually I learn and understand your videos so clearly! So it is probably just me. 🤷♀
The Custom Color Palette option was a feature added into the Silhouette Software by Silhouette due to users requesting to be able to save colors of their choice in the Fill Color Panel. The data is stored within the Silhouette program on your computer in it's program files. It's not really like a normal file. I have requested that it be something that could be exported by the user easily and saved. Currently you'd have to copy the AppData folder from within the Silhouette program on the computers hard drive, from one computer to another.
I can throw colors together, but these cubes are amazing. 😍 I would love to see a longer video, too.
Would never have thought to do this - love the bookmarks! Yes, am interested in seeing the more detailed video. :o)
Thanks for this lesson
You are welcome!
I had no idea we could create our own palette. Thank you.
