Great tutorial, I get inconsistencies with my cut even using the same cardstocks, do you have any suggestions or any reason why it does that? I am a beginner and just got my Cameo 5 a few weeks ago, watched a lot of your tutorials too. And one more thing, my ES mat somestimes does not hold the paper down enough and it starts moving as soon as the cutting starts. Thank you
The first things I would recommend is making sure the blade is installed properly and adjusting correctly. th-cam.com/video/Qec-SNhLCzw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3YAA70ctZ6I3mlYq Next, use good quality cardstock and watch that the blade adjusts each time. For the ES Mat, I make sure the paper is secure before I send the design, it should not move at all. Heavy cut settings can cause it to shift. Settings really just depend on the actual cardstock and can vary by brand, color, blade life, etc.
I just tested it and it works as it should. I subscribe and then it goes to Google & there is a download arrow in the top right corner to download to your computer.
In the zipped folder you will find the .studio file, the .svg and the terms of use. This file is a direct download. You will need to unzip/extract the folder downloaded in order to open the file. This file can be opened by using File > Open and selecting the .studio file or drag and drop from the saved location on your computer onto the Silhouette workspace or into a shape on the workspace.
@@SilhouetteSecrets Following your instructions, I got it. lol Thank you so much for this fun project. I got to thinking that making them small enough you could use on Holiday cards and ephemera in a journal for winter scenes. Feel free to pass these ideas along to others.
Those are really nice!
Thank you! Fun to make!
