@@TheWhiskyBaron i live in netherland. i buy at my local store. online retailers, and at online actions, brexit makes it to expensive to order from the uk

and yet they welcome you in for free and pour you a dram whilst you peruse! best museum I've ever been to!

three great choices! I hear your point with the seals, but I'd be beyond annoyed if bottles I was buying from anywhere came already open as it means they have to be consumed and I can't put them in my collection if I want to. I think what they do with putting names on the cage bottle is much more appropriate - just a shame there's no one keeping track of the names of constant flippers!

can't go wrong with a 32Y/O Springer!

the design of everything has been very well thought out by the team at WP - it's a beautiful product!

you're most welcome Chris, glad you've found it useful. unfortunately we can't offer opinions on specific companies as it puts us in a precarious position legally, however, I think you'll find that VA were originally in the wine trade and moved into whisky when the market started shifting. that might tell you everything you need to know

@@TheWhiskyBaron Springbank if I can find it, really difficult in Canada now, lot more of the US states are getting allocated bottles. So usually Benromach, Kilkerran, Craigellachie, and Glenallachie are my go to brands, but I’m open to any brand if the price is fair and I’ve heard good things online or from friends.

@@Wielki000 some great choices there. if Macallan is the style you're after but you're price conscious I'd recommend Glendronach or Glenallachie - both great alternatives

the only advise I can offer is to proceed with caution. make sure you're clear on what you want to achieve and do as much research as you can to establish whether or not you'll be able to get there. we're always happy to have a call and talk through the market if you'd like

Not easy at all…all the big box liquor stores don’t even have it…but a specialty shop along my daily work travels i frequent does!….just not the Turbo unfortunately. The Chinquapin is the winner of the 3 for me 👍🏼

what's your favourite Duty Free expression to date?

@@TheWhiskyBaron every time i go into duty free, nothing i like... i can buy better on the internet... very rarely i see anything worth buying in duty free...and sometimes its more expensive than what i can find on the internet

The Glenallachie is on the top of the list of distilleries. Hope to see you there!

one of my top distillery visits to date JJ - seriously impressive what they're doing here and such a joy to see it first hand. could not recommend more highly

not quite the analogy I'd go with Jack but it's certainly amazing to see the turnaround that they have made here and the focus they have on excellence. maybe this humble Speyside distillery could pull you away from Arran?
