Joining Ian for a tasting adventure is our good friend Ben from The Whisky Diary. Together, they order and sample some exceptional whiskies, sharing their tasting notes and whisky insights.
The Pot Still isn't just about whisky; it's an experience. With its array of cracking cask ales, proper pies, and friendly staff offering great service, the ambiance is as warm as the drams poured. This establishment stands as one of the oldest whisky bars in Glasgow, adding a touch of history to every sip.

Frank buys in exclusives for the Pot Still and always worth asking. Great iconic whisky bar, very busy, and superb selection
spot on Ian - it's a superb selection and definitely worth an ask as chance are you won't be able to scour the shelves completely and the team are great at pointing out hidden gems
Was there 15 years ago. Glad its still there and blooming!
still booming with business! drop back in if you get a chance and have a dram for old times' sake
Pot Still is brilliant, had many a good whisky night there. The staff are amazing and seem to know exactly what I want. They don't try to shift and duds and treat everyone with respect. Great video makes me want to go back ASAP.
I couldn’t agree more Steven - Ian’s made me thirsty in this episode. Such a great bar and awesome team. Let us know if you frequent any other bars that compete with this legendary hangout
Was in here late last year as Glasgow was a stop for a couple of days on route to Campbeltown. Was great, really friendly staff, had a couple of independent bottlings I hadn’t seen before and was a really good vibe in there. Then after I headed to the Whisky Shop where I first got into Loch Lea, just picked up their PX bottling but haven’t tried it yet
they have cracking staff Joe, I'm glad you managed to stop in. Haven't had a huge amount of Loch Lea myself so let me know how the PX goes down - sláinte!
😍
lots more to come from Posh Scotch!
👍
